I've recently been reading some of IDW's Transformers comics, and I've really got in the mood for doing a Transformers thing.

Which continuity do we want?
I'm not really a Transformers expert, so I'm not exactly sure.

EDIT: Maybe we could just make our own, out of parts from existing timelines for optimal OC opportunity?

Lol. Well that depends. I haven't gotten to read many of the comics, I've watched most of the Animated things - and I watched the movies - even though I hate them ... cause sexy cars... and OP voice.
LLet's see ... who would you want to play? I've played most of the Autobots as well as some of the Cons. I also have two OC's that I've played and developed for years. We could do an earth based with humans or we could do strictly space and make up stuff I'm not particular about the settings

Yeah, I'm liking the make-our-own-timeline thing.

We could take the Aligned Continuity's Ark thing, where the Autobots launched a max exodus to evacuate all of their forces off of Cybertron. Since we don't know how many Arks made it past the Decepticon Blockade, a lot of OC Characters could come from Arks that made it past. Optimus then says that Earth is a safe refuge for all Autobots, Autobots go to Earth, Decepticons come around and now Earth as a new target. So the Autobots have to defend Earth, as well as themselves. Sound about good?

As for who I want to play, I just wanted to make an OC Autobot, we can have canon characters too.

Sounds good to me :3 Clutch has a pretty intense back story. Grimms... just a moody mech Lol are you wanting to do it through PM or regular blog posts either works for me.

We'll wait a day or two to gather more people, then I'll throw an OOC up and another IntCheck with more detailed information in the Casual IntChecks. We'll do this regular.

In the meantime, we'll have to work out the kinks and minor details. Stuff like where the Ark crashed, what Autobot/Decepticon Relations are with the humans, where the Decepticon warship, Nemesis is. As well as OC/Canon subgroups, where Autobot bases are. If the Decepticons are just going to ride around in their pimpin' massive space battleship, or if they're going to establish bases.

Sounds good. It's been like a year since I've done an RP - that wasn't table top- with multiple people in it LOL. I'm crashing for the night... but I'll check back in in the morn and we can start bouncing ideas about :D

Alright, in the meantime I'll scour the Wiki and see what I can scrounge up for this.

I've just seen that the Wreckers in IDW G1 have a battlecruiser named the Xantium. Looks like the Autobots are getting a Navy as well.

Okay, we're going to need an overarching plot, unless the whole war thing is good enough. I guess the Nemesis can just hang around, the excuse being that a lengthy fight with battlecruisers costs too much energon.

Skyrte, They could be in repair. With lack of energy and more than likely the damage they took hovering over them maybe the Nemesis is trying to fix up the damage and preserve what Energon they have left ?
