As much as I love the supports and customization of Awakening, I've been playing older games and feeling that I prefer having limited missions to level, and that Awakening's map and mission design sucked until you get to the DLC.

I usually play to 'complete,' so I prefer the capability to max shit out. That's the cool part about awakening. It's like variable difficulty. If you don't like the map just do each story chapter one after another. or just don't play dlc, or go without other things. Awakening's about as hard as you want it to be.

Eh, I don't really bother with rally. I never really needed it. Not sure why you'd want shadowgift on a rallybot, seeing as how they shouldn't really be fighting at all. However, she does have rally strength which means she can get more rally skills than you can shake a stick at. Also on the other hand, you've beaten apotheosis you don't really need her.

More for the ability to have options. She can be a rallybot or frontliner depending on my needs. Plus I like her character.

You can switch before the game starts. Seismic hammer if you're up against a lot of light vehicles, chainfist destroys AP14.
