Wolves are not a mythological creature, and can't be used here. You could take a Werewolf instead, but that would be a singular Shift, and you'd appear like the werewolves in, say, Underworld, or the Worgens in World of Warcraft.

I think what Kapu here is trying to say, if I may elaborate. He's not just looking for mythical lore surrounding creatures, no doubt there is a story for wolves and the like.

I think what he really wants is the fantastical creature's from children's stories, ancient legend, and myth. Pure magical whim, Fantasy so to speak. Things that could not, possibly exist such as the phoenix, a mystical being made of fire, things that aren't likely to exist anyways. Mythical lore surrounding a normal earth creature doesn't quite fit the profile.

Though to speculate kapu, I don't see any reason to be unable to half-shift into werewolf.

The first is basically a man-wolf, meaning he is more man than beast, the second wearer of wolf skin being the full transformation, Albeit there is a lot of lore surrounding werewolves.

You're right when you say that I am looking for the Fantastical and Mythical.

As for the second part, it sort of depends how you interpret the legends. I personally don't like the Man-Wolf idea because it just... doesn't sit well with me, really.

As for the Half-Shift, I can think of one solution: A Lycan. A Werewolf is someone who is forced to change at the Full Moon, so that is singular only. A Lycan, however, can shift at any time they want, and even do it partially if they want (can make one hand into a clawed murder weapon that can tear out someone's throat).

If you, Sara, takes a Lycan, you can get a Shift that looks like a normal wolf (albeit a bit larger and more feral looking), and also have access to a half-shift, although you'd get more wolf characteristics than you mentioned before (elfine ears, more pronounced muscles, clawed hands, taller, wolf-like eyes. Possibly even a Wolf's hindlegs, if you want to go that far. The legs are just something I think is cool, but not something you have to take).

You'll have to make a few changes, but you'll still be the same character over-all. What do you think?

But, As far as I am concerned there is probably room, kapu should be on in a handful of hours, usually. I would get up a CS and I'll answer your questions to the best of my knowledge if you have any.

Do keep in mind this roleplay is more centered around mythological creatures of fantasy and theory. Like the phoenix, the golem, the nine tailed fox, the harpy, and so forth. Something with a deep cultural lore, or a fantasy backing.
