I'm stuck with what I have now, or the unicorn. I am unable to upload a different avatar. Sad face. Any ideas?

I've tried computer restart, internet reset, logging in and out, removing the avatar first and then trying to upload. Nada. ?:(

Got it, forum doesn't allow for PNG files.

It does actually take png's. What you likely experienced is the well known Avatar bug explained here

I seem to be experiencing a similar problem, except "waiting it out" doesn't seem to be working (unless I should be waiting more than 24 hours).

Because you see, usually when I try to change my avatar, it fixes itself overnight. But in this case, regardless of how long I wait, it just doesn't seem to be changing. And this isn't the first time this has happened, either - since I once tried to change my avatar before, and after days, it still didn't change. I never did get that avatar and eventually switched it to something else, which did appear on the forums after a little while.

Is there something else going on here?
