As soon as the wolf shot the water bolt at Tony, Ralph flew straight up in the air. He then flew over the wolf, shooting a fireball down at her. She seemed to be going for the others at the moment, so he took this opportunity to fly overhead once again, shooting another fireball as he did so. At this point, two foxes had started attacking the wolf, but they appeared to be ordinary, natural foxes, not one of the creatures that the humans turned into.
Ralph barely managed to avoid a water bolt flying towards him, but then the wolf shot a second one in his direction. This one hit him in the side of the head, making him swerve down into the trees. After taking a few seconds to pull several twigs and pine needles out of his feathers, he took off into the air again, and started shooting more fireballs at their attacker.

"I got.. oh, dear god." Connor whispered, his confidence dying down immediately. A strange dampness seemed to fill the air around him. The canine creature glared at them from a set of cold, hard eyes. The creature donned a clean, white lab coat and a journal. The wolf gave off an aura of overall assertiveness and confidence, that could scare the weaker willed. Connor was not at all intimidated by any of these features, in fact. He was more or less terrified of the bolts of water.

Multiple tendril-like spouts of water seemed to emerge of out of the ground, flailing wildly, threatening to whip anything that dare come close. While the water tentacles protected the wolf from any close combat, she shot various spurts of pressurized water at his teammates. Normally? He'd be able to take on most of anything that dared to challenge him. Who'd be crazy enough to challenge a 20 ft tall stone golem? But something in his mutated mind made him absolutely fear her.

Connor felt himself freeze up as the tendrils wrapped along his legs, encasing them. He attempted to rip the water tentacles off of him, but they simply grew larger as he ripped them off. He barely tried to, anyway. Once the water tendrils had completely wrapped around him, he felt a sharp tug. This wasn't actually much of what caused him to fall. He more felt terror, and attempted to take a step back, tripping over himself along with the water tentacles.

Connor fell. The sound echoed throughout the forest, sending a crashing tremor across the forest. Like the pebble that fell Goliath, he had finally fallen to something smaller than him. It was the first time since the mutation. He spluttered, feeling cracks growing. Several pines trees had collapsed under him, snapping under the pressure of the giant. He slowly placed a hand against the floor to steady himself, rising up. "Okay. Okay." He said, and then he picked up a tree and hurled it at the wolf.

Deravan's shadow attack seemed to almost burn the wolf lady, and Val's shadow whips only added to the pain, however, she recovered just in time to dodge the rock shards that he flung her way. This, however, saw her dodge right into Val's ice shards, which didn't seem to effect her nearly as much as the shadowy blast or the shadowy whips did, for some reason. "I might be outnumbered, but you're outmatched," she retorted to Val's question, then adding "Also, how stupid of you to think that I'd give in, even for a moment," with how Val's accent was going, I pretty much expected her to speak in German after this... however, the wolf's little retort was enough to have her off guard for the fireballs that Ralph was... spitting? Breathing? Something like that. Either way, the fireballs seemed to hurt her somewhat, yet, she didn't catch on fire, somehow. The pine tree that Connor threw was next, and she just looked at it with that smirk of hers, and at the last second, she created some sort of water blade out of thin air to cut the tree in half before it could get to her. Her eyes then turned to me, and, blade still out, she ran right for me. I fumbled around a bit, but managed to shoot a couple rounds from my pistol at her, hitting her left arm and her left leg. She swore under her breath, and stopped her attack, mainly because she just so happened to hold her sword using her left hand. We had the advantage now, and I took, well, advantage of this by trying to shoot her right between the eyes, however, I was greeted by that all-too-familiar clicking sound... out of ammo... even if I had more bullets, I didn't have enough time to reload, as she already seemed to be healing herself. I then formed a boulder from the ground and had that fly over to her, and thanks to her being preoccupied from the healing, she didn't avoid the attack in time, and was sent back several feet, and looked confused or disoriented, which was to be expected after you've been hit in the head with a large boulder. The water tendrils she had put up earlier dissipated thanks to her, um, condition.

Verlassën grinned slightly as the shadows seemed to damage her a deal. Summoning a lance of shadows that became completely solid, Verlassën waited for the right moment and threw it. Her attack however was blocked by a water shield. "Sie lästige kleine schmerz in den arsch" She hissed, narrowing her eyes and growling. Sending out a bark, She charged forwards just as Teal and Russet attacked from the side as well, but at the last moment, the two foxes swerved around the lady to distract her as Verlassën shot another spear of solid shadows at the wolf. "Hah, nehmen sie dass!" She said, before creating another tendril that lashed out at the wolf, quick as a snake in it's strikes.

Something strange was going on with Connor. Normally, he'd just stomp a creature as small as this wolf like it was nothing, but this time was different. For the first time since Ralph had met him, he actually seemed afraid. "What's gotten into you, Connor?" Ralph asked. He had no idea why this particular creature was giving him so much trouble. She may have been stronger than all of their previous opponents, but the others didn't seem afraid at all. They were angry, if anything.
The sound of gunshots filled the air as Tony used the rest of his ammo. It seemed to stop her from attacking him, but seconds later she started healing her wounds. Tony used this as a distraction to hurl a large boulder at her. She seemed confused and disoriented now.
Ralph used this as an opportunity to send several more fireballs towards her. As long as the others managed to do enough damage, they could end this right here.

As Deravan saw the wolf going to heal herself, he frowned at this, before summoning 2 orbs of dark energy. He then felt as if he could change the form of this energy a bit more... He quickly turns the orbs into dark blade, and then starts to slash at a rapid speed towards the wolf, damaging her quite a bit, almost canceling the healing she had gotten. He then hears Tony's gunshots, and the stumbled back, shivering just a bit at the moment. Guns... something that actually was making him nervous. He guessed it was cause of his animal nature now. His ears were ringing a bit at the moment. He quickly goes back to normal before seeing the wolf going and then striking him away with a large water blast, making him stumble on the ground, growling, and then.... hissing. He then sends multiple dark bolts towards the wolf lady, hoping to finish her off for her insolence. This fight had to stop... god... he just met these guys, and they had to get attacked by a crazy witch like that.

"It's nothing!" He snarled at Ralph. "I'm fine!"

Connor glowered at the aqueous wolf, clenching his fists of granite. His insides churned like a cement mixer, feeling an odd mix of intense rage and pure terror. Connor's golem core roared at him to get back and crush the wolf between his hands until it spat it's innards out of it's mouth. His smarter, feebler human mind told him that he would probably crack like an eggshell once the wolf seeped it's water into him. He was torn. The wolf had cut a tree in half. Could it cut a rock?

Connor watched as his allies attacked the wolf in various ways: shadows, fire, and even a couple of foxes arrived to assist them. He, on the other hand, had crushed a couple of trees and demonstrated that the wolf could cut wood in half as easily as it a butcher could cut meat. He hated feeling like no use to a team. Connor looked around, for anything. Spruce trees covered the countless acres of land, coating it like a blanket. Then there was the cave, but that wasn't much use.

Connor took a deep breath, and bended down, his hands touching the ground with ease. If he was too afraid to head-on attack the wolf, them he would be forced to use the objects around him as a weapons. Connor felt a massive, pressurized water blast scraping along his shoulder, and he almost fell over right then and there. Another blast shot his hip, and he actually physically cringed. He plunged two stone hands deep into the ground, and grunting, he began to pull upward, feeling his arms straining.

A pop rang throughout the air. Was that a.. gun? Connor thought, glancing over at his allies. Sure enough, Tony clutched one in his hands. Haven't seen one of those in a while.

Connor felt another blast, and it was enough to actually make him trip backwards. Luckily, he still managed to get just what he wanted. His two stone fists, had just managed to rip a piece of land out of the ground. A tightly packed chunk of land. It wasn't much for a 20 ft tall stone golem, only about the size of his head, but it would work for what he needed it for. He lifted it up, feeling the various coarse dirt and minerals through his fingers, and launched it at the wolf, to add onto Tony's boulder. Another water blast shot right by his head, and he felt himself gasp. Wait, did he just gasp?

This was just our first major conflict, and Robert wasn't awake by the end if it. I had serious doubts about future battles, especially as the future of the 'roleplay' was changing more or less.

I plucked my sword out of the corpse's tight chest, tasting blood as I left the sword in myself. I would've eaten the corpses around, but it wasn't appropriate at a time like this. I held back my hunger as I walked away, heading towards Robert as my feet drank the pools of blood around. "Robert's down. Is there any medicine around?" I asked sarcastically, unsure how to treat our friend. I could definitely tell I didn't say this in the actual roleplay. "Of course there isn't. Elena, help me out here." Where's that Spiritomb/ghost dragon...

I was trying and failing to get up for a while until I finally get healed by something. It was impossible to tell who or what did that with my eyes closed, so I woke up, and saw the ghost dragon, floating in front of me and smiling as if we haven't attacked him. "You can be trusted with the piece... though, I feel as though you have no idea what it is," he says to me and my team... well, let's be honest, he was mainly talking to Elena and Miles... I didn't do too well in that fight, unfortunately. He then explains "This thing, the piece, it's a part of something with incredible power, the elemental plate. This plate, while it was in one piece, once kept my homeworld balance, and with its powers, kept it in peace for a while... each of the new countries, however, wanted the plate to themselves, and wars were started until the plate guardians broke the plate, and gave each of the countries a piece. This only made it more difficult when the plate was needed again... however, instead of using the power of the plate against a new threat, the dark sorcerer whose name I can't recall, we tried to teleport the plate to some other planet... I assume it reached you," I nearly fell asleep, but, I heard the last part, and nodded, adding "Yeah, sure, evil dude, new plate thing... got it," he then mumbles something and moves out of the way, revealing the piece of this plate thing that he was talking about. I walk over to it, and pick it up, causing another portal to form in front of me... this one seemed to lead home. I could tell thanks to the horrible air, and the dilapidated buildings.

The wolf lady, thanks to her condition, couldn't evade the attacks that were launched at her, I mean, sure, she tried, but she just didn't seem to have the reflexes that she had before she was hit on the head with a boulder. One by one the attacks hit her, and some even managed to hit her in particularly sensitive areas, resulting in, obviously, more pain. By the time that the flood of attacks had ended, one of which included a giant chunk of the ground flying towards her, she was on her knees, and gasping for air. "I gotta get outta here..." she said as I aimed a small, sharp rock at her. I knocked her out with another rock before she could try anything funny, like trying to teleport away, or something, and say "Sorry, but I think you should stay a little longer," to her unconscious body. I then looked around for anything to tie her up with because I needed some way of getting whatever information she might have had about... well... whoever these jerks were. "Hey, Deravan, um, do you have anything to tie someone up?" I ask Deravan, later adding "She seems to be a part of some larger group, maybe we could interrogate her to get info on this group," I then look to the rest of my teammates, and notice that Connor seemed pretty badly damaged. I start healing him up using my earth-based powers to, well, fix the rocks that made up his body thanks to the whole plate thing. I could probably heal someone else, too, thanks to the fact that the light-based magic that I could use also seemed to have some sort of healing ability, but I wasn't as good at using that as I was with using my earth-based magic.

After taking all of those attacks, the wolf was visibly weaker. She tried to flee, but Tony knocked her out with a large rock before she could do so. Seeing that the battle was over, Ralph landed back on the ground. "Well, that was tough." He looked at their knocked-out enemy. "Whatever group she's with, I hope it's not a big one. We'll have a lot of problems if it is."
If they wanted to have any chance at rebuilding society, they would have to eliminate this group. It wouldn't be an easy task, though, especially if the rest of them were as powerful as the wolf was. If she could put up this much of a fight when she was outnumbered 5 to 1, there was no telling what it would be like fighting the rest of them. He knew it had to be done, though. If everything goes well, they'll know where her group is hiding.

Deravan looked at the now unconscious wolf, and moved to her. He think a bit.
"I think I can do something.... but..." he says, before looking at his bag. Not much materials. He then concentrates, and suddenly makes rocks form around the wolf's hands. Then the legs, and then a weight on her back to stop her from getting up.
"I think that should do that trick.... I would be surprised if she were to get up with that. And... I.... I just hate it that she attacked for that... god...." he says. He breath deeply, and sits down.
"I... I think I need a bit of rest..." he then says, giving out a small yawn after this.
"These new forms things are kinda.... so strange. I really wonder what caused it at least." he says. He was then fiddling with his broken necklace, remembering his sister. He just hoepd that he would one day find her... And that she would have survived this chaos.
Elena listened to what the ghost was saying, and breath deeply. She looks at Robert and fallows him, thinking abit right now. A plate piece... with a evil person that wants to get it.... this seemed so much like a video game. Copper coins, potions that heal... god.... it was as if the meteor made everyone teleport into a game and that everyone was changed cause of that.
"So.... I guess we are going for a hunt for those plate pieces to try to stop a crazy guy that wants to rule the world.... great.... jsut when we though earth was having enough problems like that." she says a bit annoyed. She breath deeply after this.
"Let's just head back home. I guess we will find the next place to go maybe if we continue on and look for it... maybe helping people to try to get live back into a more civilized track..." she asys.

"Ergh.." Connor groaned, feeling various cracks melding together. It was a plea sign feeling. "Thanks for the fix-up, Tony." He gingerly felt the cracked area, rubbing over the now smooth stone. "Ah.." Connor stared at the unconscious body of the wolf, as the smaller creature began encasing it in earth. He grimaced. "After you're done interrogating that thing, I'd appreciate it if you could slit it's throat." He said, his voice dripping with pure hatred. "Thanks."

"As long as none of them are like this wolf, or about my size, I could crush 'em." He said, in response to Ralph. Connor gave a massive yawn. He raised his hulking arms over his head, stretching, and slowly began to lumber back into the cave. These people are going to get me killed, He thought, scratching his back. It was the same place that the plated bronze golem had smashed in. I could ditch them. Then again, that Ralph's pretty handy..

Connor began to curl up by the entrance to the cave, tucking his head and limbs in. He kept himself tightly held together, just in case that wolf thing happened to sneak in and cut him in half with it's water whips. He shivered, which was also a first. The mutation had clearly done something to his mind, not just his body. Before, he had no qualms about water at all. Swimming in the ocean. Showering. Even just being by a large pool of water. But now, he found himself terrified of the stuff.

Connor sighed, his mind beginning to fade again. In the end, he found himself actually having trouble sleeping. The wolf had spooked him so bad that his mind was just putty now. Connor sighed, and raised his head, looking out of the cave. Maybe he could stay awake for just a little while longer. Maybe watching that wolf silently suffer, bound by rock, would help him sleep. He simply sat, and stared at the wolf. "Ugh.." He said in disgust.

"What."

I am familiar with this world through roleplaying. I just needed to look confused. I was staring at the ghost for a bit, before deciding to leave with the others on my right. I had one last look around the room, skipping a mush of poisoned slime and some incapacitated clones. "Okay. We've traveled through possibly another dimension, and now we gotta save the world. I really want out." I couldn't. I served as the guide, and it's not like I could describe my roleplay to Robert and Elena without them pinning me down for more. As reluctant as I was to roleplay for real, I was excited being a different... thing, in general. Hopefully we could change things up a bit, like avoiding that dreaded arena...

"Hey, at least we're helping our world get back on the right track, right?" I say to Elena before heading into the portal, with a single piece of that plate that crashed into the meteor, and was apparently extremely important in my hand. The portal back seemed longer than the portal that took us there for some reason, and at the very end of it was Chance's house, with the portal simply shrinking, as if we could use it again, should we ever want or need to... of course, at this point, I couldn't really see any possibly reason for us to return, and though the city looked pretty much the same, I still felt a little better with that plate piece in my possession. With it, I felt as though I was warding off some larger threat, wait... larger... whoops! I almost forgot that I was supposed to get my backpack back from my house, so we'd have a place to carry all the stuff that we come across. "Um... I'm going to go visit my parents. Let's all meet back here when we're ready to take off again, okay?" I say to my team before I fly off towards my house, and thankfully, I manage to not get myself lost on the way back. Once I get to my house, both my stepfather and his girlfriend were there to greet me. My little brother, however, was absent, somehow, and, after saying hello to my parents, I headed back up to my room, taking the grey backpack that was sitting at the foot of my little brother's bed, and, after removing the two heavy textbooks from the thing, I put the plate piece in it, and put the backpack on... though, I wasn't quite ready to leave again, just yet... maybe I should stay with the family for a little bit.
[Tony]

After healing up Connor, I help drag the wolf lady to a chai... or, well, okay, we don't have a chair yet, so I decided to make a small chair out of rock, and place her on it. She wasn't conscious again yet, but, if she did wake up, I'd certainly be ready for round two of this fight. Of course, she'd lose, and we'd end up in the same spot we're in now, with her knocked out, and her about to choose whether she'll help us, or try to attack again. I had a feeling that upon waking, she'd know her predicament, and would be willing to cooperate. After all, it's not like she could do much at this point to go against us. There were several of us, and only one of her... and she was already bound, and couldn't move her arms or her legs, meaning that it would be difficult, if not impossible for her to escape at this point. Connor just decided to sit there and stare at her, and I was inclined to join him in that. Ralph then said something about her being tough, which she was, and how he hoped that her group was a small one, which, of course, I hoped as well... but something told me that this group wasn't going to be small... which was very unfortunate for us. I then started to think about what she was saying... something about reviving humanity? Something about changing us back into humans? What the heck would that accomplish by now? Nobody would just start following the rules because they're human again... there's still no law system, and the riots would continue even if we were suddenly human again by tomorrow.

"And now we wait." Ralph said. "I'll go keep an eye out for anybody coming our way. Call me if she wakes up."
He flew outside, perching near the top of one of the taller trees. He never really noticed before now, but changing into a phoenix really enhanced his eyesight. If anybody approached the cave, he'd see them. It was a good thing, too, because once the wolf's group found out she was missing, they'd probably send others to look for her. He scanned the forest, looking for anyone who might be approaching the cave. There were many creatures passing by, but thankfully none of them seemed to be getting too close. He still kept an eye on anybody that came into his field of view, though. Any one of them could be hostile, but he had no way of telling them apart from the friendly ones.

As Robert just left at full speed, Elena stares as he was going. She sighed. She did not know where her parents were... knew that her house was destroyed, and had no idea what the heck she was going to do. She yells a bit at Robert.
"Wait up!" she says going and fallowing at full speed. When he arrives at the house, she waited there, unsure if she would be welcomed.... She did not even know where she could go now.... She was left alone, with no one else to go with.... What could have happened with her parents, she did not know.... it made her worried a lot right now... What if they got killed by all those crazy maniacs. What if their body parts were split limb to limb... She holded back the though, feeling like if she were to think like that right now, she could just barf on the ground. She sighed, unsure what else she could do. She just hoped that everything would end up being alright in the end.
Deravan entered the cave calmly, breathing deeply, tired.
"I... I hope you guys don't mind if I sleep here...." he says, before going to a small corner in the cave, and going to curl up a bit He felt really tired right now after the day he just had. It felt as if he had run a marathon all day without stop.... which in truth, was not that much of a lie. He had to run a lot to escape those crazy maniacs. He then though about what the wolf said.... The problem with that plan is that people will rebel and not go and stay calm... they would go out of their way to make those they perceive as a threat pay. Even if they become human again.... what tells us that some of them would not be affected and stay as they are... then what? Those unaffected would rule the humans? No.... that must not happen. He sighed and started to think more. Too many risks in her goal, even if it was wishful thinking.... but attacking them when they are just trying to survive.... no... that group was bad news, and he knew that

I didn't have family. Well, I didn't know where they were. I wish I had someone to talk to, someone familiar and responsive.

...I did have one friend, as crazy as he may have been. "I'm just gonna... see if I got friends and such still alive." And with that, I walked off, heading opposite of where Robert and Elena were going while creating weird slapping noises on the asphalt with my feet. The world was as broken as usual - dragons still flew around, houses were abandoned, vehicles were vandalised... "God damn it. Why couldn't have just made it into a hangout roleplay?"

"What?" Sure enough, Richard would find me eventually. "You were sayin'?"

"The world's fucked up. And, hey Richard." I greeted him, starting off with a bad tone before cutting to a normal one I used for greetings - calm and slightly relaxed. He was still a damn yellow bird with a belt or so, but he was more or less himself. Well, his feathers were kinda ruffled. I never really his accent, thinking he was just making it up the whole time.

"Eh, 'ello Miles. If y'ask me, the world's still pretty calm." Well, I walked over to him, while he was sitting on a dented car will all sorts of char marks on it.

"You like popped right behind my back. How are you doing?"

"Well... I... I dun' know. All I've been doin' is robbing, flying and maybe a little killin'." He replied, rather lazily and obviously tired. He got off the car and ruffled his feathers. "I'm still not used t'this shite body." Richard dusted off his wing while a kid running beside us was screaming about the sudden lack of Internet.

"Ergh, damn kids... anyway, eventually, you will. I mean, look at me - I'm not morphing into a human anytime soon." I told him, although he didn't really seem to care. "You wanna... do something?"

Richard looked around, turning his head left and right. "Nope. I got m'own business to mind. Keep safe, would'ya?" And so, he thundered off into the air. Like, literally - he just flew up and let out a lightning bolt which nearly blinded me.

"Uh. So much for trying to talk." So, I headed back to the spot where we were to all meet up, after like 10 minutes. My little talks consisted of about a minute of talking, unfortunately. So, I decided to track Robert's house to find something to do.

"Hrmph." Connor grunted, staring as Tony threw the wolf into a chair. It didn't deserve a chair. He wished they could've just kept it rocked into the ground. That seemed more fitting for the beast. "Coulda just kept her on the ground, you know. Would've been easier that way." He muttered to himself, staring at the wolf with complete and utter distaste. He tried to keep himself awake for when Tony began pressing the wolf with questions. That would be fun to watch.

Connor's head turned to watch the small creature pad into the cave, and begin curling up into an opposing corner. That little thing was still a mystery to him. He had no idea what it was doing here, or what it even was. Seemed to have some sort of hero complex, maybe. Thought it always needed to do the right thing, or whatever it thought was the right thing. Also apparently enjoyed giving rants to the enemy about how they were so wrong.

Connor turned back to the wolf lady, still cradled by a stone corner near the entrance. Of course, he didn't care for her. At all. In fact, he'd preferred that they'd instead have caved her head in instead of keeping her to try to question her. But maybe her goal wasn't all that bad. Turning everyone back into humans. Of course, some people would suffer minor inconveniences, like the lack of flying. But at least then everyone would be equal again. No more giant behemoths ready to stomp on you every day.

He sighed, feeling his eyes becoming heavier. He tried hard to keep them open to watch the show, however. Maybe the wolf would begin blubbering up like a little baby. Maybe it wouldn't say anything at all, and then Tony would be forced thrash her head in with a rock. Whatever it was, it would be worth staying awake for it because he felt a special little hatred in his heart for that wolf. The smallest thing to actually take him down since the night of the mutation. The first thing that he couldn't just stomp and continue on.

Verlassën took this moment now to dash up to Teal and Russet, brushing her face against theirs in a fox's form of a hug. They broke apart and Verlassën looked over where Tony was putting the wolf into a chair. She growled at the lady, violet eyes narrowing, but she knew they couldn't do much while it was asleep. Instead she may as well introduce Teal and Russet to them. Flicking her tail, the three of them trotted over towards Tony, Verlassën's steps much lighter and happier now. "Well, we can't do much while she's asleep, I'm sure she'll wake eventually." She said, looking back the two foxes that sat behind her. "These two are Teal and Russet - they were my companions before... Well, y'know, the mist came. We've traveled together for quite a while, but we separated for a bit. They're the ones who helped me get used to my new form and learn my powers. It seems after a while they gravitated back to me." She said, her voice happy as she looked at the two foxes. Teal was a white color that had a blue-grey sheen to it, stood a little shorter than Verlassën did, and his tail, ears and paws were tipped in a dark blue-grey color, and he has a stripe of the same color down his back. Russet was a classic red-brown with white tips on her ears, paws and tail, but they had a red tint to them. She had three red-tinted stripes on her head, one going from her muzzle to in between her ears, and two more branching off from the center of the first stripe, crossing over her eyes and ending just in front of her ears. She stood a little taller than Teal, about the same height as Verlassën did. Both foxes had bright amber eyes that were full of curiosity.

"I hope you don't mind them tagging along - they don't fuss much, and they're true foxes, not humans that've been mutated, but that could come in handy sometimes, couldn't it?" Verlassën said, her violet gaze hopeful - Tony was their leader after all, she'd need his consent if she wanted Teal and Russet to join in with them. She hadn't seen her two friend since they split up for a while, and to be honest, she had missed them terribly.

I went back down the stairs with my backpack just in time to see Berta and my dad eating what looked like a mess, but I knew as some chopped up chorizo mixed into diced potatoes... it was a weird dish, but not one that I disliked. I was about to leave, thinking that time might be of the essence, and for all I knew, the others might have already met up with their family, and may be waiting for me, but before I do that, I hear Berta ask "Roverto, why don't you stay and spend some time with your family?" Her accent, and the fact that she used the Spanish pronunciation of my name would have thrown me off a year or so, ago, I was already used to her weird way of pronouncing 'B's, and the fact that she adds an 'o' at the end of my name. I then turned around, and said "Well... fine," I was pretty hungry, after all, and Berta already pulled out whatever bread products survived all of the issues that happened in the town, which thankfully, included rolls. Before I could take one of them, I noticed Elena waiting at the door. "Um... hold on a sec, okay?" I say to my parents as I put down the roll of bread, and walk over to the door before I open it. Once I do, I say "Hello, Elena... um... welcome. You came here just in time, we're actually having dinner right now," I was going to ask if she had a family, but, her being here meant one of two things... either she didn't like her family, or they were dead, and either way, I didn't really want her to bring it up. I then step out of the way, and gesture towards the inside of my house, welcoming her to the place, once again, but this time, without words.

I would have started talking amongst my teammates, however, because the wolf lady woke up, I had to change what I was going to say from pointless banter and conversation, to alerting the others, and making sure she's intimidated enough to give us the answers we need. "Connor, Val! We've got an interrogation to do!" I shouted at my teammates as the wolf lady came to her senses. Thankfully, she wasn't capable of using her magic at this point, and thankfully, she was still pretty badly beat down. "Now then..." I say as I turn towards the captive, lab-coat-wearing, wolf. I then continue that sentence with "Who are you working for?" At first, she didn't say anything, even laughing, and saying "Well, what does it matter who I work for? It's not like you'd know where to find us anyways," that didn't exactly amuse me, so I formed a spear out of stone. A big one, too, just to show that I was serious, that I meant business, and that she may or may not make it out alive unless she tells us what we need to know. One look at the spear seemed to get the message across, and she broke, saying "F...fine, I'll tell you, we're a newish group called 'Humanity's Hope'... as I've said, we're trying to bring back the human form, and eliminate magic, by any means possible," she seemed to grin at that last statement, as if it was a threat, or as if the thought of possibly dead creatures amused her, somehow... either way, she was sick in the head. "Well, where are you located? Where's your home base?" I then ask her. She laughs, and I turn back towards my teammates, wondering if they'd be any help in this scenario.
