Since it's so early in the beginning that he hasn't made any significant impact yet, I'm opting to just ignore the events involving Marcus so far and jetipster can just jump right into the current event.

Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know. I will be leaving for an anime convention tonight (Sacanime if anybody happens to be going.) and probably won't have much in the way of internet access the entire time. Not that I'll have time for internet in the first place... I'll be back Sunday night, and don't have to work Monday so I'll catch up then.

jetipster, yup, your original character is fine. If you want to make any changes, now would be the time as well. Also, since your character is initially powerful, you won't need to take on a sidekick role.

Redwing, nothing much, just some minor stuff if I really need to but I'll mostly keep her out of the way.

Only two people have posted so far? Just to let you guys know, I might be starting another RP and there's no telling what my level of activity will be like when I'm handling two RPs at once. But, at the moment, this RP is unfortunately not seeing much activity anyways.
