The night is coming as the sun sets on this Saturday. The few people who have decided to camp the night are about to have the scariest time of there live on Bunker Lake. Who will live to tell the tale and who will never see the light of day again on this murky lake.

Gretchen threw her bag over her shoulder as she made her way over to the designed spot where the campers planned to meet. She hadn't gone camping very much, but this weekend was destined to be exciting and fun. Besides, what could go wrong?

Caroline Matthers pulled her car up to the lake and put it into park. She was to be meeting up here with a group of campers that had all responded to an add about having a fun adventure by the lake. Now Caroline was not one for camping - not even one for the outdoors. But she figured it would be a good place to meet someone. And by someone, she meant a guy. Or guys. Plural.

After getting out of her car and grabbing her bag, she began to head towards the area in which they had all planned to meet up. Caroline checked her phone as she waited, the lit screen lighting up her face in the dark.

Gretchen walked along, hoodie sliding of her untamed hair as she ran along the path. She looked for any symbol of civilization, or humanity for that matter. Who else had seen the advertisement for the weekend at Bunker Lake? Or was she completely alone.

As she walked along, she pulled out her phone to check the time before tucking it away and shivering in response to the cold night. She continued to the meeting point.

Ben who was about to head to college pulled up to the gravel parking lot. He sighed as this was the last day of his freedom tomorrow he would have to head towards Baltimore for college but he hoped that tonight was going to be memorial and maybe he could meet some new people. He got out of his car and headed towards the camping site know as "Bunker Cove" with a flashlight guiding his way.

Caroline raised her head from her phone at the sudden sight of a flash light scanning the scenery. She assumed that the person with the flash light must have been here for the camping trip - who else would be at this abandoned lake at this time of night. Softly she called out to whoever was behind the flash light, "Hey, are you here for the camping trip?"

Gretchen blinked as she heard a voice, clearly female. She ran towards the source of it, calling out.

"Hey! I'm part of the camping trip!" she waved her arms desperately, the cold of the lake and the darkness getting her nerves frayed from how they were so prominent.

Ben jumped a little from the voice but soon realized it was just another person. He called back in a louder voice "Yeah I am and who meant you." then he shined the light at the mystery person calling him from the trail.

Caroline peered out into the darkness, trying to see where the second voice was coming from. She knew it was a different person from the one holding the flashlight, as the voice came from a different directed. Caroline turned the bright screen of her phone outwards so she could see the campers near her. "I'm over here!" her voice was faint yet hopefully loud enough to reach them.

Gretchen ran towards the flashlight, using her phone to illuminate the way. She almost tripped a few times over roots that twisted and spread across the ground like walls of a labyrinth. She grow more relieved as she saw the light grow more and more bright, meaning her search was nearly over.

"Hello!" Ben said realizing that there was two voices now coming from the dark trail. He wondered what was going to happen after he had meant these new people and what they were going to do doing this trip.

Soon, another woman came into the light and Caroline was happy that she could now see here. "Hey. Do you know if there are any others?"

Gretchen finally came into the light and greeted everyone. From who she could see, there was a
another girl and guy who had gathered at a point.

"I haven't really seen anyone on my way here....but it's good to finally meet you all. My name is Gretchen."

" My name is Ben." He said to the small group that surrounded him. In his mind it was a little weird not having anyone other guy in the group but he just went with it.

Ben saw the face on Caroline and blushed a little. She was very pretty and Ben was a little embarrassed by it. " I ... uhhh... think there is a few others coming I think." He said not directly looking at her and instead at the bright moon that glowed in the crystal clear sky.

Paul drives into the campsite and exits his vehicle. It was nice to get out of the lab for once and actually be social. He notices the group of people and approaches them. "Hello" Paul says in his best English and smiles.

"Alright, we may as well wait for them," Caroline smiled at Ben, noticing that he was blushing. She didn't want to make the other woman feel uncomfortable so she asked her for her name. "So, what's your name?"

Gretchen smiled at Caroline. "Me? My name is Gretchen. Gretchen Fitzsimmons. I work at the Starbucks a few miles away." she stared back at the pretty woman, feeling a little self-conscious about herself in comparison.
