Exactly what type of song is 'The Thirteen Cows in the Attic'. I'd imagine (assuming it's not a real song) that it's some sort of nursery rhyme that has no place at a party like this but I just want to be sure before I post it like that.

Yeah, sorry for not doing a better job of actually finding a real song for you to work with. What I was trying to get at was a song that is much more crude and would appeal to a common audience in a pub rather than at a party like the one our characters find themselves at. I guess a good example would be something like Cajun fiddling, where it is somewhat basic but has its own happy sound to it.

By the way, I was meaning to say this much earlier, but urukhai I absolutely love your signature.

Yes, I'm nerdy and know it's binary code for letters that spell out a word. And yes, I went and looked it up in my lovely table of ASCII. So.. yay.

Most RPers I've met feel that their posts are not up to par - it's that whole "You're your worst critic" thing. If it helps any, I found nothing wrong with either of your posts, so they can't be that bad :P I'd even dare say, that concerning post length, more is not always better, but that's a very debatable opinion.

And, changing subjects abruptly, I kind of wish I could think of a way to force Diamond to meet Ariel, just for the shock value of it. Seems like the slave thinks she belongs in the party, though, so there's no way for the statue to know she shouldn't be there... yet!

Haha, I'm fine with anything! Hmm, I'm trying to make it that the slave feels weird that Diamond doesn't look as wealthy as the rest of the noblemen, considering her dress is of modern cutting and all when she first appeared, fish-smelling and all. Even weirder that Diamond would speak to her as equals, something the wealthy bunch don't do. But I guess as a slave, you don't have the privilege to wonder and question much; you just do as you're told (unless you're the rebellious type hehe). So yes, it appears that the slave concludes Diamond belongs in the party~

I agree with Micosil in regards to post length; it's the content that matters. I tend to be long-winded in my writing, and I'm trying to cure myself out of that but in the mean time, do bear with me... o.o

Hmm, a question: is the party supposed to be outdoor or in some kind of a hall? If it's the hall, then I must correct my view of it, as I have been picturing it to be some kind of an outdoor party all along :s
