Saint Angels Academy.
A place for any and all who wish to truly surpass the trials laid before them, and enough structure to keep any undesirables in line. This system is top of the line, includes a home away from home, and guarantees that any students will succeed. World renowned, and highly celebrated by many a scholar, this establishment truly is the school to go to.
To the outside world that is. From the inside, this place is a testing facility. It's there to weed out the mundane from mystical, the talentless from the oddly talented, and a prison to any who enter. What is seen on a daily basis is enough to make the hardest people lose faith in any kind of strength they might have, and those who don't have any are rarely seen for more than a few hours. Welcome to Saint Angels. You're here for life.
If that was a little too vague, what I'm trying to get at is these main points:
1.Magic and similar attributes are not overly well know/well viewed by society as a whole.
2.The school is meant to help keep their powers in line, but is a front for a prison like area, albeit still actually being a school.
3. And lastly, all who go either come out successful for their purpose, or don't come out at all.
You have come to take on the role of this year's newest students. Your job, as it were, will be to figure out what is really happening here whilst surviving the daily struggles and oddities that the facility contains. Powers range on the entire spectrum, from simple mind reading, to elemental kinetics, to speed and strength. None of which are at what we be deemed super human levels, they are still far beyond what most can manage with any amount of training.
I am imagining this would be in the casual range, but is open to one on one as well. Anybody interested?
