When picking that song, I was aiming for something darker, slower and mostly something with a little country/jazz sound to it opposed to Rock. Rock/Pop/Rap didn't really exist in the 20's as it does now.
So what is the limit for players in this RP?

I have skimmed over the posts here, read the plot setting and the hero definition, but would like to ask if it is too early for a robotic character? I know it is set in the 20's and all but with it being comic-like could I justify a robot hero?

A cyborg, maybe. Cybernetic limbs is a possibility, but a full on robot I don't think so. Even the gene manipulation here is going to be primitive. This is the 1920's - twenty years from this point in World War II, tanks are going to just astound people on the battlefield due to their innovation. I don't want to construe that image, really. Even with a cyborg, there's not much to go on. Data disks essentially don't exist at this point, so most "tech" is actually just advanced engineering.

Well I count about eighteen people so far (including you, Prince), So I was wondering if we'd limit the number of players (not characters) in order to make keeping track of everyone and prevent overcrowding easier. My main dilemma with not limiting that is that after a while a lot of the RPs I've been in (some quicker than others) with larger numbers of people tended to get very jumbled, with people "ninjaing" each other IC (posting at the same time, making one or more of the two or more posts invalid) and tended to break down due to that and the not so uncommon event of pages of IC content being created during short absences from the RP (like a day or two of inactivity due to everyday life).

That is what I thought, but I wanted to check just in case because of things like Hydra, Shield, Stark and other stuff that would be in it's (very) early stages. I will make due with some other concepts I have. Which brings me to my other question: Do you have a CS you want us to use or is it open to us to make?

A contingency I have for that is, well, one of my more universal ones. After character creation takes place, I'll likely sort the characters, create separate squads and if need be create a central "IC" threat and maybe some sub-threads for each squad/group. Determine squads based on character compatibility, posting speed, posting preference, etc., and we should be able to sort through a majority of characters. You counter chaos with order. Additionally, a lot of people took part in this endeavor, I see it as rude to decline them. That said, if I create sub-groups and allow people to write up their own storylines for the groups, it also takes power away from me centrally. This delegation of power will allow for a more diverse storyline and plot development. I myself can even take part in someone else's group/squad, as can anyone. This system also makes it far easier to cope with absentees, as smaller groups rebound from the loss of a player and an interrupted posting schedule better as they often find someone or another that they're willing to "ghost" their character through a post or a few during a time they can't. If absentees take too long, we'll just make their character an NPC, and go one.

Likely, I will allow a lot of personal (by personal, I mean squad leaders basically co-GM'ing their team and making their own plots) freedom until the roleplay becomes stable. I believe it is paramount that teams have their informal roles, character relationships, pre-existing dynamics and even roleplayers feel the plot is solid before I move it forward in a collaborative directions. Basically what I mean to say is: the first stage of this roleplay will be a sandbox. If you want to be a squad leader, expect to be plotting a lot, making NPC's and villains and sub-plots, working alongside me with your development, etc..

Basically, I don't want these characters just stitched together. I would prefer if most of you were actually of a military or federal background, probably WWI veterans, that opted into this program due to exemplary service. Of course you can stray off, but I want there to be a sense of uniformity as well. Solid reasons, strong backgrounds.

The history of your character. Although important, I understand not everyone is a huge stickler (like me) about the details, especially in a superhero roleplay. That said, I will allow this to be a bit shorter; I created the HAND status separated to allow the lenience here.

This is a rough draft of my character. Tried to edit her as best as I could to remove any of the supernatural parts of her story without taking away from her history. As we go into the OOC I will be working on her more. The idea is to have her as a somewhat neutral character that gets pulled into a side over time.

Such manifestations of this power includes; becoming pure solar energy, fireproof skin and UV radiation immunity, the ability to generate miniature solar winds/flares, absorb solar energy, Create universal constructs and energy blasts/explosions from solar energy.
