Anyway, here's the deal and what's needed for Character Sheets:

Player Name (Not your username, the name of the person who owns the game, so to speak)

Class (Fighter, Rogue, Cleric, Paladin, Druid, Ranger, Wizard, Sorcerer, Barbarian)
Appearance

I'm not sure if I'm going to have a character or not in the party, but that's really all I need for you guys making characters. Please post a message if there's any confusion.

he put down all the details you asked for. you may want to add more to the character sheet requirements or they will all lack detail.

The cs needs a bit of work. How about a backstory, age, some skills, etc. That could do for a start.

Otherwise, I highly doubt this will suffice to be a Casual rp.

Age is kind of irrelevant because they're characters in an online game. Besides, RPs aren't defined by CS builds, but by roleplaying.

Trust me, a CS is a huge part of RPs. I should know, having participated in a number of them myself. Also, we could do with a little bit of an actual story to start us off, like, why or how we got trapped in the game, or what the game is even called.

I don't see much that's detailed, interesting, or unique here. Is there some kind of history or introduction? Or is it mostly based off of D&D? What kind of events are occuring in the RP by the time our characters come in?

Keep in mind you don't have to answer these questions in this specific order, it's a general idea of what I'd like to know.

So I am gonna start the beginnings of a CS, but I'm not gonna commit to anymore until this RP is a little more fleshed out. As of right now the only thing you have that tells us what the hell the RP is about is the title, and that isn't enough. Write some backstory about the world of the game. How big is it supposed to be. How did we get stuck in it(which I assume is part of the RP based on your 2 interests checks). What goals to we have to be free, etc. Right now I can't even tell if the world is supposed to be fantasy or sci-fi.

That being said, as for my character, I'll admit I only got the idea for her because I am in the process of reading the Spice & Wolf light novels. So I really wanted to RP a Holo-esque character. She isn't any of the races listed in that small CS, but I figure it doesn't have to be limited. I've seen races like this in MMOs before, but I really couldn't even remember what they were called. So I left the race blank until either I can make up a name, find an MMO race to use, or some other ruling is made on the character. But once the RP details have more weight to them I will start to add more to the CS.

The name of the MMO is Realms, and the characters aren't initially set up as stuck in the game. It's something that's going to happen fairly early on, and will be roleplayed out. The space the RP takes place over is a region which is probably the size of Texas. I've been in more than a few RPs myself, and it's what's moved me away from character sheets in general. The RP itself starts on the day of the game's release.

When people look at your first ooc post, most of them are going to think, "What is this? So little effort was put in this, what's the point? It'll suck." and leave without giving a second thought. There is a HUGE lack of detail, which we have been reminding you time and time again to add in. It's just... not very good.

Isn't that how it always happens. Still no reason to leave those details out. Look I'm gonna help you, because clearly you aren't putting effort into this and I'd hate to see all these nice people who supported you get driven off. I've never been good with writing these kinds of intros to I apologize to every. But remember to either put this in your first post blaze, or if it inspires you to write your own then write that and put it in your first OOC post (that part is extremely important as Scarifar said).

From here I am sure you can fill in some of the details, like what it is that will get us eventually trapped, and will it kill use or are our minds just trapped. Who it is was or just a freak accident.

I've actually got most of this planned out already, believe it or not. I'll admit to being lazy about the OOC business, but when I get to the intro post in the IC, I'll be much clearer about things.

You aren't going to attract people with that attitude. OOC is everything in selling your RP. If you are not even going to put in the effort to show you have the RP thought out in OOC then this will fail. As it is everyone has said they aren't fully committing until they get a proper OOC outline.

What I'm going to do is post the intro tonight, let that speak for the thing. I'm more than happy to allow people to post any extra info they want in their character sheets. If you need any more on worldbuilding, the setup is real world, 5-10 years from now. I apologize if I'm coming off as having an attitude. I'll gladly try and work on that, but for now, I ask that you bear with me for a little bit.

Trust us, that's what we've been doing this entire time. All we asked for was that you put in details in the OOC.
