Batman is dead. After being killed by an unknown assassin, the city of Gotham has been plunged into chaos. The GCPD is understaffed and unorganized, and the gangs and crime families of Gotham have started a desperate war for power, for control. The final gang standing shall be victorious and shall rule the ashes of Gotham!

So, there we go. Not exactly a story of any kind. Not yet, anyway. You can be any gang from the Batman universe or your own imagination. My only real rules are that you keep your posts to around 2-6 paragraphs (No novels or anything), try to have a good reason for why your gang does things, and have fun! (That sounded a lot less cheesy in my head)

For the beginning of the rp I will be playing as penguins thugs. If anyone has a problem with this, pm me and I'll see if I can switch gangs so that you can play as Penguin.

History: After being abandoned his parents, Oswald Cobblepot grew up on the streets with nothing. Eventually, he met other freaks such as Solomon Grundy and Killer Croc. Together they formed a gang called penguins Thugs. After inheriting money from his parents, Penguin was able to expand his gang and vast inventory of weapons.
Other: The Penguin hates it when people call him Oswald Cobblepot, and loves feeding his enemies to Solomon Grundy as a form of torture.

Leader : Anarky (Lonnie Machin)

Notable gang members : none yet

Headquarters : The sewers beneath Gotham.

Enemies : The big wigs trying to shove their product down our throats.

Allies : anyone willing to oppose the machine.

History : Lonnie was teenager who hated all the news stories about corrupt officials and liars. So Lonnie decided to do what was natural for anybody to do. He got an axe and gave the old man 40 whacks. Eventually he found us. A group of followers willing to oppose the dirty liars

Gang leader: Joker
Notable gang members: Harley Quinn, Man-Bat, Clayface
Headquarters:
Enemies (If any): Unknown
Allies (If any): Unknown
History: Unknown
Other: Harley is his plaything and he keep Man-Bat around to remind him of his old Archenemy. Clayface needed a job and who better to play then the Crown-Prince of Crime while he's away.

Name of gang: Mexican Cartel

Leader: Raimundo "Jésus" Ponciano

Notable gang members: Raimundos right and left hand; Arlo Puma and Zuan Zamarron.
Luchador; Mexican assassin. Wears Luchador outfit and wrestles people to death. Identity unknown.

Headquarters: Downtown, Ponciano's Contruction HQ (legal cover for Cartels actions)

Enemies: GCPD, DEA, too curious reporters.

Allies: Before The Gang War, Collation of Crime Families (they shared the Gotham City and appointed the limits for each Family's territory). After The Gang War and the following chaos, discarded the agreements like many other Family. Currently on it's own.

History : Ponciano arrived to Gotham City at 80's and forced his way to construction business where he started price cartel. After establishing base for operations and steady source of income, started working with Mexican Cartels as distributor and port for their criminal activity. Currently head of Gothams Mexican Cartel.

It was hinted at in Anarky's solo series but it was never confirmed.

Headquarters: A cave system outside of Gotham

History:
An immigrant who's parents where Italian Mobsters, Gladium Rex was raised with crime. Multiple times having near death experiences because of his parents mistakes when he was a child. He moved to America at the age of 18 to escape the life of crime but it kept coming back to him. Multiple times he ended up in Jail for thefts and disturbances but no murder.

Gladium Rex decided that there was no way to escape his criminal ways, so he started to create an image for himself. With the persona of Nightmare. He gathered some friends he met on the streets and formed a gang. As Nightmare, he wears a black mask with red flames painted on. He carries a sword with him at all times and a gun for jobs he needs to pull off. Gladium Rex has never murdered, but Nightmare has.
