Personally I rather like the image of a gentle queen, it will contrast nicely with the backstabbing nobles and vicious warriors. Not to mention, nothing is impossible to corrupt. Especially under such extreme circumstances.

Well, back in feudal times you were grown up with 16 if I remember correctly. Younger rulers were not unheard of either. It is how monarchy sets itself up for disaster. When the previous generation is dead, the heirs might only be 2. They still get placed on the throne, even if the power rests elsewhere. It very well may be that this coup was not of the brothers design, perhaps there was some kind of bigshot involved behind the scenes, waiting for a moment when brother and sister had a falling out and made use of the boy's anger to gain the realm. Not everything will be as it seems.

16 was considered coming of age, though it would be perfectly possible to even have an 11 year old king. This has actually happened in real life. However I myself had imagined her to be a bit older. I'm still considering the pro's and con's to having this younger and gentle queen.

I'm game letting you play another character but decided that your queen character just wasn't up to par with the depth I might need for further plots. If you compare your sheets with others, you'll notice that you have less info available and while that isn't disastrous, it is when you play a vital role.

In short; no, but you can still make another character if you wish to do so. Sorry if I offended you.

You didn't offend me, but you keep misunderstanding my intentions. You make it sound like I need someone who's already done amazing things, but I want this to be the amazing thing she's done. She's [/b]supposed[/b] to be green with few if any notches on her belt, someone who's gotten into a bad situation and needs to overcome it with wit and guile and guts. Moreover, there's exceedingly little I could include in her backstory that could live up to having your crown usurped and being exiled from your own kingdom.
