There aren't, but I believe if the Master dies, the Servant can be transferred over to someone else, which means that those without Servants can have the potential of having one in the future.

You know, there are the Avenger and the Ruler classes but I think that's for special occasions.

Not necessarily. Quite a few servants have three phantasms. A few have four I believe. In cannon I mean.

There aren't, but I believe if the Master dies, the Servant can be transferred over to someone else, which means that those without Servants can have the potential of having one in the future.


There can be more masters than servants if the grail so chooses. Servants tend to be the definitive number.

Yeah...

Or we can just make rogue Servants. I think they exist.

You know, there are the Avenger and the Ruler classes but I think that's for special occasions.


Aren't those two (Plus Saver, etc) supposed to be replacements for the seven default classes? I mean, Avenger was a replacement for Berserker

Alright, I added the mount Noble Phantasm. I couldn't find out what Genghis Khan named his horse (if he did so), so I just named it Jebe.

Correct. Avenger was summoned but killed b/c they thought he was such a weak class. When he died he did what other servants do when they die and was poured into the grail, which corrupted it b/c Avenger was not a "Heroic" Spirit. I mean it is, but not in the way that the grail was intended to handle. Bottom line, seven spirits is still the limit. :( But hey, come up with another class or we can use Avenger as a plot device.

The irregular classes aren't mechanically disallowed, you'd just need to make it a different Grail than the fuyuki one. If it's a fake war, it'll be a different system.

Dunno what those classes are, though. Not familiar with them. :/


Saver is like a messiah character.

Avenger doesn't really work because of its mechanics.

Shielder is the knight of the Shield.

Ruler should probably be avoided.

... Maybe we should just make our own classes, as to not mess with the Grail. How about a Gunner Class? That way, Archer can be open again and Samuel Colt can be reclassified to Gunner?

And Hikou, mind if you post your characters in two posts, one for each? That way I can permalink them.

I think Beast would be fine, fits with the rests of the naming conventions for servants. I'll put up a sheet for both Nidhogg and Fenrir and you can choose which one enters the frey.

Okay, I have a caster Solomon to app then, I'll still app the beast class, but will let someone else control them if it seems like a bad idea for me to control two servants

Cliff notes, Avenger was an experiment that became a huge mistake that was felt for wars yet to come. Ruler was the Grail summoning a spirit to protect itself, so it doesn't have a master nor do they want the grail. The qualification for Avenger escape me, but the Ruler class is the pinnacle of selflessness, the cannon(?) example is Jeanne d'Arc, so religious devotion might be a factor, or impressive blind faith. We can throw Ruler in their, but that is a huge grey area with a lot of liberties. All I can think of for Avenger (if it doesn't break the grail) is a strong desire to acquire the grail, for revenge or destruction.

Walk away from the computer for 10 min and everything happens. I think we are still good on masters, 7 currently if no one else dropped out that I am unaware of.
