Adventurer. Explorer. Man of Danger. Demonpuncher. Jason Blood may not be a household name, but he's a legend among occultists, superheroes, and archaeologists. Whether fighting the Serpent-Men in the gladiatorial arena of The Tenth City, stealing the Amulet of Kabushek from the Lost Pyramid of Arkan-Ya, or rescuing beautiful damsels from the clutches of savages, odds are that Jason's done it. Over the years, he's fought supernatural threats ranging from Trigon's demons to necromancer lizardmen from an alternate dimension using nothing but his fists, a quick wit, and an iron jaw. He's responsible for discovering numerous ruins and unearthing countless cultural artifacts. His body's covered with scars and bumps from close calls with the deathtraps of cultures ranging from aliens who settled Earth in the prehistoric past to gun-toting mobsters hoarding mystical artifacts that he believes belong to the archaeological world- IE, museums or in the hands of the descendants of the makers.
His most recent expedition took him to a place in the hills of Scotland, purported by locals to be the tomb of Merlin. While he was doubtful of such claims, there was no denying it was indeed the tomb of someone important- a tremendous stone slab sat before a secluded chamber, and stone carvings of knights and druids in battle decorated the cavern's walls. Yes, this was indeed a tremendous archaeological find, but the question was if it was authentic. It wouldn't be the first time a town faked a tomb for notoreity. He'd have to check for inscriptions and typical artifacts, hoping to suss out just which era they came from. Well, the style of artistry was certainly older than Renaissance sites, and it definitely wasn't alien- the inscriptions on the slab were in a chronologically appropriate form of English for... the sixth century AD, he believed. Perhaps reading them could provide some insight into the resident of the tomb. Dusting off the slab with his brush, he pulled out a list of common words for funerary inscriptions of the Saxons. Reading aloud, he was quick to notice this wasn't a typical epitaph.

CERTAINLY not a normal epitaph. Perhaps this was, indeed, a sort of memorial to Merlin, rather than his actual grave. Wouldn't it make sense for such a memorial to include a reference to Merlin's purported demonic ancestry, as per the legends? Though none of those legends confirmed a specific demon as one of his parents, it stood to reason that perhaps this "Etrigan" was believed to be said parent at the time. It was then that Jason noticed a crack along the side of the inscription. One that seemed to be spreading. He began backing away from the slab, as a tremendous yellow fist broke through, long claws grasping for purchase. Just his luck.
"YOU CALLED UPON THE DEMON'S POWER, TO SAVE YOU IN YOUR DARKEST HOUR!"
A second fist broke through, gripping the sides of the inscription.
"I'VE ENDURED A THOUSAND YEARS OR MORE, BOUND UP SINCE THE DAYS OF YORE."
Two knees, clad in a red tabard, slammed through the slab next.
"NOW I SPEAK IN WRETCHED RHYME, FOR I WROTE VERSE TO PASS THE TIME. SEALED AWAY WHENCE TIME BEGAN, 'TIS I, THE DEMON-"
With a final crash, the slab blew apart- and Jason was knocked on his rear. Before him stood a large demon, glaring at him with glowing red eyes. Smoke danced out from its mouth as it raised its arms in a show of strength and finished its poem:
"ETRIGAN!"
Dusting himself off, the demon reached down and pulled the stunned Jason to his feet.
"Jason of Norwich, dead and gone, do I stand before his son? Fifteen hundred years have passed, is it time to fight at last? "
What ensued was one of the strangest conversations of Jason's life, as the two got each other up to speed- Jason telling Etrigan of Camelot's fall and descent into myth, Etrigan of Jason's ancestry and the pact with Merlin which had bound him in the cave for thousands of years.
The story of the Blood family begins in the court of King Arthur, with Jason of Norwich- Jason Blood's distant ancestor. As one of the knights of Camelot, he was a great swordsman and noble man. However, Camelot was destined to fall against the armies of Arthur's half-sister Morgan Le Fay. Merlin knew this, due to the fact he was born at the other end of time... though he could not convince Arthur or the knights of his memories. Rather than stand by and let fate take its course, he decided to summon supernatural aid to protect Arthur. However, it wouldn't do to have a demon walking about the castle until Morgan's attack. As such, Merlin hit upon the idea of summoning the demon and then seal it away until it was needed. But it would require someone to break the seal, as Merlin had to cast the appropriate magics. Jason of Norwich volunteered, trusting Merlin with his very soul. His hair gained a shock of white that day, which would mark he and his descendants as the guardians of Camelot's seal. Merlin managed to call in favors with his demonic relatives to summon his half-brother Etrigan, the mastermind of a failed rebellion in hell. He was placed into a seal in a cavern, to be broken by Jason only in Camelot's darkest hour. However, the attack came sooner than Merlin remembered, and the seal, obviously went unbroken- Jason of Norwich's family must have escaped somehow, which meant the pact was still intact and could no longer be dissolved. However, even if he was to be trapped on Earth, Etrigan would not see himself bound to a weakling.
"To claim your bloodline's ancient right, you must best me in a fight. A sword and shield shan't prove enough- face me now, in fisticuffs!"
What ensued was a long, drawn-out brawl between an archaeologist and demon in an ancient tomb, watched over by carvings of Arthur's knights. Etrigan was surprised to find that the human could not only hold his own, but use his superior technique to drive Etrigan against the wall. Eventually, Etrigan did manage to best Jason through sheer endurance. The demon found the display so impressive, however, he agreed to honor the pact.
"A flash of light, a patch of dark, the ancient pact is done. Jason Blood and Etrigan-- no longer two, but one!"
Since taking Etrigan into his body, Jason has returned to his position as the curator of the Gotham Museum of Antiquities. Robberies of the museum have dropped substantially since his return. He serves as Gotham's shield against the supernatural, just as Batman guards it against more mundane foes.

Before realizing that he was speaking to Etrigan's host, Nebiros offered a lifetime of service to Jason in exchange for roughing up the cultists for insulting him by using birthday candles and store-bought ground beef instead of tallow candles and a goat in the ritual. To his horror, he now realizes he's in service to an ageless adventurer.
Merlin: The sorcerer of Arthur's court, Etrigan's half-brother, most powerful magician of all time. Usually pops in to warn Jason and Etrigan of Morgan's movements or immediate supernatural threats, and never sticks around for long- things are awkward with Etrigan after sealing him in a cave for a millennium and a half.
Belial: Etrigan and Merlin's father, a high-ranking demon beholden only to Lucifer.
Morgan Le Faye: The immortal sorceress responsible for the fall of Camelot. Arthur's Half-Sister and mother of his son Mordred. Arthurian legends are WEIRD.
The Council of Sorcery: A group of evil magicians who have a personal beef with Etrigan.
Porter Vito (The Mortician): A Gotham mortician who devoted himself to the study of necromancy in order to resurrect his dead parents. Overran Gotham with zombies on Halloween a few years ago.
Joe Beket (The Mummy): Descendant of an ancient Egyptian wizard, Joe Beket contains his magic by binding himself in the wrappings of a mummy. Due to the origins of his power, he has a taste for Egyptian artifacts.
Gor (Dino-Czar): A powerful hedge wizard, Dino-Czar is a scientifically accurate velociraptor, about the size of a bulldog. Do not let his size fool you, however, for he is the mightiest of the Council's casters. Most of his plans involve summoning demonic creatures to do his bidding.
Snowflame: Drug dealer and shaman of the spirits of the Central American jungles, Snowflame's name is lost to time. He practices an ancient tradition of using mind-altering substances to commune with the spiritual world, as his people have for centuries. The more he consumes, the more powerful he becomes. Every cell of his being burns with white-hot ecstasy- Cocaine is his god, and he is the human instrument of its will.
Dr. Chaos: Just as Dr. Fate is the champion of the Lords of Order, Dr. Chaos claims to be the champion of the Lords of Chaos. The veracity of this claim is doubtful, given his "helmet" is a pot with holes in it, but his raw mystic power is undeniable.

Unique Physiology: Doomsday was created and evolved through cloning an infant and having it killed over and over again by one of the most dangerous species of the universe and in one of the harshest habitats in existence, prehistoric Krypton. As such, he returns to life every time he dies and becomes near invulnerable to what killed him before. His entire body is built as a defensive structure which continues to arm itself the more it is damaged.
Accelerated Healing: He also has a highly accelerated healing factor that allows him to heal and regenerate from most damage almost instantly.
Power Replication: The monster can replicate and store the special abilities of any super-beings in his immediate proximity using "Absorption Cells".
Superhuman Strength: With his strength, Doomsday can easily overpower and kill humans and other aliens like Kryptonians, and can bend and break through reinforced steel, destroy impenetrable barriers, and can lift extremely heavy objects, and uproot trees and buildings/structures as well as decimate them with his might.
slight-Invulnerability: Doomsday is almost completely resistant to all forms of physical and mental types of harm, and as such, bullets bounce off him, rockets, lasers and bombs won't leave a mark on him but can do considerable damage to his human Host.
Space adaption: He can survive in space and can even operate while in the direct presence of space vacuums, vortexes and wormholes
Superhuman Stamina: Doomsday can take part in super-powered battles for months on end. He fought Superman through Metropolis for days of physical combat until even the Man of Steel was broken.
Superhuman Speed: Most surprising is his speed for his bulked size. In a matter of moments, Doomsday managed to render most of the Justice League incapable of fighting.
Super-Leaping: He was incapable of flight but due to his extremely dense muscles in his legs, he can leaps miles at a time. Superman took advantage of this in their first battle by attempting to keep him airborne. He also used it to his advantage when he deposited Doomsday in a lake to slow him down.
As Marcus Blain:
Being attached to Doomsday has changed him, basically he is as strong,durable and as unrelenting as a quarter of Doomsday, so a bullet may not penetrate his skin but can leave a hell of a bruise.
Weaknesses:
Need for sustenance: Doomsday is for lack of a better word a parasite, he must consume food that his host eats, though Doomsday does not need to eat much to keep himself healthy it can pose an obstacle when fighting someone like the Man Of Steel.
The host itself: Doomsday shows himself when the Host either calls him out or is dosed with a large enough adrenaline rush, but if the host is killed quickly enough, Doomsday won't have a chance to appear and must find a new host.
He is the blank slate!: This is a Doomsday that has not faced anyone of the Justice League!, anything that worked before can work now.
Stomping Grounds:
Nevada/Arizona area mostly, but really anywhere he wants.
Character Goals:
Well apart from the Anarchy and Chaos he is unwillingly going to create this character would for the first of his story arcs learn to live with this monster inside of him, doing his best to turn it against people who deserve it. After that He will be going after Lex Corp and Cadmus, focusing on completely decimating them for all the bad things they have done.

Bertron was an alien scientist who operated on the planet Krypton many thousands of years ago. He sought to create the ultimate life form. His first experiments however failed, but Betron cultivated cells from the dead experiment and infused them into his next test subject. This subject also died, but Betron, undeterred, repeated the process over and over again. Ultimately, after forty years of work and multiple test subjects, his experiments were met with success.
The life form, Possessing genetic memory from it's predecessors Adapted to the environment it was set in, Prehistoric Krypton but not in the way Betron was expecting. The new life form, though possessing Predator traits seemed to attach itself to Pray, turning them into Predators and using them to kill anything he found to be a threat, being immune to any killing methods Betron had used before it turned it's sights onto Betron. It, instead of killing him attached itself to him and fled Krypton.
Upon the discovery of Superman the U.S Government decided that more funds should be put into space exploration, after all they didn't want something like this to surprise them again. So they, along with S.T.A.R. Labs started to develop plans for better space exploration using drones and machines much more advanced than the ones currently in use. And in early 2015 R&D pushed back because of the Apokolips invasion. The first space drone known as Hyperion. It explores the solar system, almost getting to Jupiter until connection was lost, after this they went back to the drawing board. Exactly two months later something is heading for earth, quickly they identify it as Hyperion. But somethings wrong with it it seems to be coming in for a crash landing The same night it crash landed in the rural Arizona deserts, along with an alien ship. The life form, who had long attached itself to something else arose from the ship and escaped, heading in the direction of Las Vegas.
Marcus Blaine was always a wild card and problem child,Usually just to relieve small town Boredom but one part of him actually enjoyed the chaos and carnage he could cause. His father, James who would Disappear for weeks at a time on his Motorcycle only stopped back in when he wanted sex,money and drugs, usually in that order,and his Mother Tammi an exotic 'entertainer' as she would call it, they all lived a small bungalow outside of town, she always did try and do the best for him, she even kicked the drugs for him, which his father was not happy about, so like father like son he joined a biker gang at the age of eight-teen and left Blue Diamond Nevada, getting into more Drunken Brawls,Shootouts and orgies you can count, and loving it,eventually getting married at the age of twenty-one to a lady named Lola Kris, who is currently pregnant with his first child.
When he was twenty-five he ran into his father while at a bar in Rural Arizona, it ended with Him on top of his father, beating him with the blunt end of a knife, once he had his fill Marcus let James go, "if you ever come home again I'll kill ya" his father shouted as he and his little group rode away. That was five years ago. Recently his group has been seen in the Las Vegas Area, having a good time. They were all at a Strip joint when Marcus needed to take a call from Lola, when he stepped outside talking to his wife on the phone when he heard a thumping sound, like something heavy was hitting the ground, going to investigate a sick looking alien thing was waiting for him.

Upon the discovery of Superman the U.S Government decided that more funds should be put into space exploration, after all they didn't want something like this to surprise them again. So they, along with S.T.A.R. Labs started to develop plans for better space exploration using drones and machines much more advanced than the ones currently in use. And in early 2015 R&D pushed back because of the Apokolips invasion. The first space drone known as Hyperion. It explores the solar system, almost getting to Jupiter until connection was lost, after this they went back to the drawing board. Exactly two months later something is heading for earth, quickly they identify it as Hyperion. But somethings wrong with it it seems to be coming in for a crash landing The same night it crash landed in the rural Arizona deserts, along with an alien ship. The life form, who had long attached itself to something else arose from the ship and escaped, heading in the direction of Las Vegas.
Marcus Blaine was always a wild card and problem child,Usually just to relieve small town Boredom but one part of him actually enjoyed the chaos and carnage he could cause. His father, James who would Disappear for weeks at a time on his Motorcycle only stopped back in when he wanted sex,money and drugs, usually in that order,and his Mother Tammi an exotic 'entertainer' as she would call it, they all lived a small bungalow outside of town, she always did try and do the best for him, she even kicked the drugs for him, which his father was not happy about, so like father like son he joined a biker gang at the age of eight-teen and left Blue Diamond Nevada, getting into more Drunken Brawls,Shootouts and orgies you can count, and loving it,eventually getting married at the age of twenty-one to a lady named Lola Kris, who is currently pregnant with his first child.
When he was twenty-five he ran into his father while at a bar in Rural Arizona, it ended with Him on top of his father, beating him with the blunt end of a knife, once he had his fill Marcus let James go, "if you ever come home again I'll kill ya" his father shouted as he and his little group rode away. That was five years ago. Recently his group has been seen in the Las Vegas Area, having a good time. They were all at a Strip joint when Marcus needed to take a call from Lola, when he stepped outside talking to his wife on the phone when he heard a thumping sound, like something heavy was hitting the ground, going to investigate a sick looking alien thing was waiting for him.
Attributes:
Unique Physiology: Doomsday was created and evolved through cloning an infant and having it killed over and over again by one of the most dangerous species of the universe and in one of the harshest habitats in existence, prehistoric Krypton. As such, he returns to life every time he dies and becomes near invulnerable to what killed him before. His entire body is built as a defensive structure which continues to arm itself the more it is damaged.
Accelerated Healing: He also has a highly accelerated healing factor that allows him to heal and regenerate from most damage almost instantly.
Power Replication: The monster can replicate and store the special abilities of any super-beings in his immediate proximity using "Absorption Cells".
Superhuman Strength: With his strength, Doomsday can easily overpower and kill humans and other aliens like Kryptonians, and can bend and break through reinforced steel, destroy impenetrable barriers, and can lift extremely heavy objects, and uproot trees and buildings/structures as well as decimate them with his might.
slight-Invulnerability: Doomsday is almost completely resistant to all forms of physical and mental types of harm, and as such, bullets bounce off him, rockets, lasers and bombs won't leave a mark on him but can do considerable damage to his human Host.
Space adaption: He can survive in space and can even operate while in the direct presence of space vacuums, vortexes and wormholes
Superhuman Stamina: Doomsday can take part in super-powered battles for months on end. He fought Superman through Metropolis for days of physical combat until even the Man of Steel was broken.
Superhuman Speed: Most surprising is his speed for his bulked size. In a matter of moments, Doomsday managed to render most of the Justice League incapable of fighting.
Super-Leaping: He was incapable of flight but due to his extremely dense muscles in his legs, he can leaps miles at a time. Superman took advantage of this in their first battle by attempting to keep him airborne. He also used it to his advantage when he deposited Doomsday in a lake to slow him down.
As Marcus Blain:
Being attached to Doomsday has changed him, basically he is as strong,durable and as unrelenting as a quarter of Doomsday, so a bullet may not penetrate his skin but can leave a hell of a bruise.
Weaknesses:
Need for sustenance: Doomsday is for lack of a better word a parasite, he must consume food that his host eats, though Doomsday does not need to eat much to keep himself healthy it can pose an obstacle when fighting someone like the Man Of Steel.
The host itself: Doomsday shows himself when the Host either calls him out or is dosed with a large enough adrenaline rush, but if the host is killed quickly enough, Doomsday won't have a chance to appear and must find a new host.
He is the blank slate!: This is a Doomsday that has not faced anyone of the Justice League!, anything that worked before can work now.

Character Goals:
Well apart from the Anarchy and Chaos he is unwillingly going to create this character would for the first of his story arcs learn to live with this monster inside of him, doing his best to turn it against people who deserve it. After that He will be going after Lex Corp and Cadmus, focusing on completely decimating them for all the bad things they have done.
The thing eyed Marcus like a wolf looking at sheep, sizing me up. It was at least six-feet tall, with muscles bigger than my head, it's grey skin was contrasted by it's red piercing eyes, it seemed to have white spikes growing out of it's shoulders,head and arms he couldn't tell how but it looked sick, like something was wrong with it. Marcus was about to step back when it stepped forward, a long purposeful step as it reached out for him glaringly, it quickly grabbed him and the thing began to unravel itself, the thing he saw was just an outer shell, what lied inside was a humanoid looking frog thing that was gasping for air,like it was drowning.The monster began to grow on Marcus, his skin turning grey in the pink neon light of the strip club. He screamed as the new layer of skin made him jump, dropping his phone. It roared, drawing attention to the scene taking place at least fifty feet into the air.
As it landed onto the Nevada waste it just ran, until it grew tired and blacked out.
Marcus woke up in a wasteland, Vultures circling overhead and the heat being unbearable he stood up, dusting himself off before realizing he had a splitting head ache. The seemingly endless wasteland looked allot worse than he remembered. the ground was tore up and from where he was standing he could see parts of a dead Coyote.
"what the hell happened last night?." He said aloud, as we started walking back through the path of destruction.
After about an hour of this he could see a small town on the horizon, his pace quickened on the thought of calling Lola or Knives for a ride out of this mess and get a drink. As he got closer and closer to the town he could see smoke arising from some of the buildings, his pace slowed as he remembered the thing from last night and the running,jumping and destruction it caused. It was hazy, like waking up after having eight two many, but not as bad of a headache.
Actually, now that Marcus thought about it he felt great, like he was twenty again. Maybe even better than that. Marcus was about three minutes away from entering the town where the destruction ended, and he was quite nervous. Would they know it was him?. Did he do this?, and where did the monster go?. Marcus didn't know and he didn't want to find out, he just wanted to get home, sit down and apologize to Lola for not listening to her.
The damage was much worse up close than far away, houses were destroyed, the street was tore up, it reminded him of the time the JLA had that giant bout in Metropolis, just allot smaller. People were bloodied,dirty and crying, police and federal investigators were there aswell. They all gave him a strange look and came over to question him
"sir, do you know what happened here?" a federal officer asked, with a notepad and pen "it was a monster!" one woman yelled, the word 'monster' kinda had a punch to them "no, sorry just woke up from a night of drinking with the boys". Marcus answered half-lying. The officer gave him a weird look "in the wasteland of Nevada?" he asked again, Marcus just shrugged his shoulders "don't ask me how I got here, I have no idea". The officer grunted under his black suit and aviators "your free to go". Marcus nodded and was about to head through the crowd when he turned "do you have a phone I can borrow sir?, all the ones around here are kinda, out of service" Marcus needed Knives to come pick him up.
The officer gave him a phone to use, with it he called Knives, who picked up on first ring "Marcus, where did you go last night?, you kinda disappeared last night, you get lucky?". He asked excitedly.
"I need to be picked up, i'm in..." Marcus took a look at a broken sign that read welcome to Goldfield. "i'm in Goldfield". Knives didn't answer "hello?" Marcus said, hoping the call didn't drop "ya i'm still here, just how did you get to Goldfield so fast?" he asked "I dunno Knives, just get here i'll explain later" and with that he hung up.Today was going to be one of Those days Marcus thought as he looked around the destroyed village.

Decided to go with something a little bit different. This character is official since there's a movie and a internet series featuring her.
WIP
Name: Bekka
Alias: Wonder Woman
Origin: The New Gods were a race of immortals that lived outside of time and space in what was known as the Fourth World. They evolved into powerful beings thanks to being in close proximity with the all powerful Source otherwise known as the essence of God. In a time eons ago, there was the planet Urgrund home of the Old Gods, but Ragnarok happened and the Old Gods were destroyed in the primivial conflict. Out of this unimaginable devastation came two planets where Urgrund once was and they were named New Genesis and Apokolips. New Genesis was like beautiful paradise, but Apokolips was a hellish world full of brutality.
For New Genesis a leader of awesome power rose to claim the mantel of Highfather who named Izaya, a New God of great benevolence. For many millennia the two planets have warred with one another and seen much blood and destruction. Bekka was born during one of the many wars between the two worlds and from the moment she could walk she had a talent for combat. Her father Himon the inventor of the Mother Box saw that she had the heart and body of a warrior rather than a scientist and allowed her to be trained. From the very beginning of her training Bekka showed great promise and impressive skills for her age. During her lessons she heard stories of the hellish world of Apokolips and the horrid brutalities that were done to people on the planet, and she had a desire to end the evil that the planet created forever.
This thinking process made her more rash and short tempered. Some said that her temper was almost identical to her childhood friend Orion. This desire would turn into an obsession when she learned that her mother was killed by the minions of Darkseid. Bekka had felt hate, a trait that wasn't common in big amounts for the New Gods and others worried. She lied to others about her want of revenge against Apokolips, but she had made plans to invade the dark planet and destroy their leader Darkseid. Her plans did not go the way she had hoped and her attack was stopped by the Highfather and the army of New Genesis.
Izaya was furious at her actions and barated her for what she had done. In a flash of great anger Bekka dared to yell back at the Highfather and called him a naive god and blind to reality. In a state of wrath Izaya banished Bekka from New Genesis and he made it so that no Mother Box would be able to transport her back to her home until she proved herself a better New God. Himon wasn't able to say goodbye to her and Izaya activated her Mother Box and created a boomtube that sent her to earth. Bekka landed on the outskirts of Los Angeles. She had only her clothes, Mother Box and New God sword.
She tried to command her Mother Box into sending her back to New Genesis, but the device would not respond to those commands and would always respond with the same words, "Command not allowed by the authority of the Highfather." After the initial shock of her banishment passed she wept at the fact that she had lost her home and friends. She didn't remember how long she had laid on the ground sobbing at her misery, but Bekka would have her first experience with humans when a group of criminals brought a bound and gagged man and woman to a clearing not too far from her landing site. Even though she wasn't experienced in earth;y customs, she could tell that the two humans were being prayed upon the others.
She may have had her heart broken by her banishment, but she was still a warrior and she had made an oath to defend those truly in need. She grabbed her sword and made her presence known to the criminals who proceeded to laugh at her asking if she thought it was something call Halloween. She responded ordering them to leave the man and woman alone and go away otherwise she would slay them all and showed off her sword. They still laughed and one man pulled out a automatic rifle and fired off several shots at her. The bullets bounced off of her as if they were plastic toys and she went on the attack.
Her strnegth and speed and excellent swordsmanship made quick work of the criminals leaving a couple alive to flee in a state of horrible fright. Bekka freed the couple and they fled in fear of her thinking that she had to be insane to commit such acts of violence. It didn't matter much to her and with that she started her exploration of the alien world that was her home now. Human beings were strange to her, they had crude sciences and supposedly sought enlightenment, but they were also violent and full of bigotry. Bekka was able to blend in with them thanks to her Mother Box creating a disguise for her. The device gave her a human name for her to use and decided that Rebecca was the closest modern human name to her own.
Her Mother Box assisted her in getting a job and a place to stay. Accepting that the Mother Box wouldn't be able to send her home Bekka spent the first few months of her new life among the humans in a state of depression at what she had been reduced to. The Mother Box kept her from thoughts of possible suicide, but it couldn't rid her of the diminishing fact that she had gone from a New God living a life of luxury to an outcast living on an alien planet. She was a stranger living in a strange world and she wanted to go home. She didn't make any friends or allow human males to get close to her.
Even though her skills in combat had diminished during her first year on earth, Bekka would find hope in her possible return to New Genesis when she saw Superman's first appearance over the media. It seemed that earth had its own share of godlike beings and Bekka saw the Kryptonians example of fighting against the forces of evil and she believed that this could be her way back to New Genesis. Once again donning the garbs of her people, Bekka became a protector of the people of Los Angeles and the rest of America. The more religious people of the city called her an angel sent to protect them from the wickedness of sin and a light in the darkness. The news media called her Wonder Woman and Bekka went with that name.
In 2012 she saw the news of Darkseid's attack on earth and seeing the tyrant slaughter of innocent people made Bekka join with the newly formed Justice League in repelling the hordes of Apokolips' invasion. After the invasion she went her separate way, but assured the team if another crisis happened she would be there to help.
It is now 2016 and even after many defeats of villains she had did battle with, Bekka was still able to return home. Her hopes were starting to fade and she wondered if she would ever see her home again. All she had right now was her powers and her hero identity.
Attributes:
New God physiology: As a member of the powerful New Gods race Bekka is granted several extraordinary abilities, which include.
Superhuman Strength: Bekka is able to lift well over a hundred tons.
Supersonic Flight: Her top flight speed is Mach 3
Superhuman Durability: She can take a lot of hits and still keep coming. Bekka has taken blows from beings with strength comparable to Superman and still continue fighting.
Expert Swordswoman: Bekka is an excellent swordswoman and has crossed blades with some of the most skilled sword users in the galaxy.
Excellent Hand-to-Hand Combatant: She has trained in Martial Arts with warriors on New Genesis and combat experts on earth.
Mother box: This is device that many New Gods use, it can used to open and close boomtubes for short or long distance travel, as well as heal wounds. It also can detect life and can create force fields for protection and alter the users appearance.. A mother box is sentient and works similar a computer. Bekka mainly uses her mother box for teleportation during battle and disguising herself when she is not doing heroics as Wonder Woman.
New God Sword: Her sword is made up of metals that aren’t found on earth and makes it tougher than titanium and nearly indestructible. It is capable of cutting through most earthly materials, but it does have trouble slicing through diamonds, but human flesh is like butter to it. The sword is magically bound to Bekka and she can make it fly back to her when separated from it. It is also too heavy for an ordinary human to wield and will electrocute anyone who tries to wield it.
Stomping Grounds: Even though she is a New God from the planet New Genesis, Bekka spends most of her time on earth specifically around LA.
People of Note:
Izaya: He is the all powerful leader of the New Gods and was responsible for her banishment.
Orion: He is a childhood friend of hers and also happens to be the Son of Darkseid.
Himon: he is her father who happens to be the inventor of the Mother Boxes.
Darkseid: He is the tyrant ruler of Apokolips and the wielder of the powerful Omega Force. Bekka had plans to try and kill him, but was stopped by her fellow New Gods. She considers him her greatest enemy.
Mr Miracle: He is Izaya's son who was exchanged with Orion and raised Apokolips. He eventually was able to escape and thus became known as the greatest escape artist.
Giagantra: While on earth Bekka had a run in with a woman who was of incredible size who used her size to rob banks and team up with other super villains. Bekka has had to fight her on many different occasions.
Cheetah: A very disturbed woman with the appearance and bodily movements of a cheetah. Her speed and agility is incredible and her animalistic brutality made Bekka have several confrontations.
Granny Goodness: She is a trainer of Darkseid's soldiers and elite guards. She is sadistic and considered pure evil.
Character Goals: Bekka seeks to find her place back amongst her home and people. She views her task with protecting earth as being part of her banishment from New Genesis as her only way of being allowed to return. The exact terms for which she had to meet in order to return were not given and so she he is left in a world almost unknown to her and she feels like an outcast among the humans of earth. Her hero's journey is one of finding redemption and the way home. Her sense of justice is on the gray side of the moral spectrum, she will not shy away from killing, but she does feel remorse even though her warrior training has tried to hide it.
Sample Post: Bekka could not believe her predicament, she was being led in chains to the all powerful Highfather for crimes against the safety of New Genesis. Her action were for the greater good of New Genesis in her mind and she was indignant at being placed under arrest. Orion and several guards brought her before Izaya who sat upon his large throne with a look of anger in his white eyes and by his side stood her father Himon. Even though she allow her face to show it Bekka felt a wave of fear rush over her at the sight of her ruler's anger. Her father didn't look her in the eye and she could tell he was ashamed of her actions.
"Glorious Highfather we have brought the daughter of Himon before you to stand trial for treasonous acts against your authority" one of the guards declared. Treason?! She was no traitor, she was trying protect her people and home.
"Don't say anything foolish Bekka, admit to your mistake and beg for forgiveness" Orion whispered to her hoping that she would listen to him this time. Bekka just snorted and looked away from him. Izaya then spoke in a deep and powerful voice.
"Bekka daughter of Himon and protector of New Genesis, I am greatly disappointed in your actions and because of them Apokolips is declaring the peace treaty broken and war may soon follow. Do you have any words that you would like to speak?" he asked. Bekka despite her fear clenched her fist in anger and let her temper get the better of her.
"I have done nothing wrong nor am I a traitor, I did what was best for my people!" she bellowed.
"You did what was best for you, you were clouded by your hatred of Darkseid that you didn't think of the repercussions of your actions. My word is law Bekka, by braking the treaty you have commited treason" Izaya spoke firmly and his eyes became even more angered.
"Then maybe your words have become weak!" she said defiantly. Several of the guards gasped in shock at her words, never had they seen someone especially a warrior talk so rudely with their king.
"You are no different than a spoiled angry child! You are only thinking about yourself and not those around you!" he boomed causing the throne room to shake.
"And you are a foolish god who is blind to what evil will do if it is allowed to exist!" she retaliated.
"Enough! I have made my judgement" Izaya got up from his throne and began slowly approach her. Bekka tried to struggle, but the chains prohibited her movement.
"Bekka Daughter of Himon, for acts of treason and war I Izaya Highfather of The New Gods hereby declare you an outcast and banish you from New Genesis! No Mother Box will allow you to return and no god is to help you return. Your exile will last forever until you learn what the true power of a warrior is and truly see your mistake" he spoke and with those last words the Highfather opened up a boom tube and she was flung through after having her chains broken.
Her father hadn't said anything and neither had Orion, she had to face the consquinces of her words against the Highfather. The boom tube opened up several feet above the ground of a place she didn't recognize and landed hard on the dirt. The portal closed almost immediately afterwards.

This thinking process made her more rash and short tempered. Some said that her temper was almost identical to her childhood friend Orion. This desire would turn into an obsession when she learned that her mother was killed by the minions of Darkseid. Bekka had felt hate, a trait that wasn't common in big amounts for the New Gods and others worried. She lied to others about her want of revenge against Apokolips, but she had made plans to invade the dark planet and destroy their leader Darkseid. Her plans did not go the way she had hoped and her attack was stopped by the Highfather and the army of New Genesis.
Izaya was furious at her actions and barated her for what she had done. In a flash of great anger Bekka dared to yell back at the Highfather and called him a naive god and blind to reality. In a state of wrath Izaya banished Bekka from New Genesis and he made it so that no Mother Box would be able to transport her back to her home until she proved herself a better New God. Himon wasn't able to say goodbye to her and Izaya activated her Mother Box and created a boomtube that sent her to earth. Bekka landed on the outskirts of Los Angeles. She had only her clothes, Mother Box and New God sword.
She tried to command her Mother Box into sending her back to New Genesis, but the device would not respond to those commands and would always respond with the same words, "Command not allowed by the authority of the Highfather." After the initial shock of her banishment passed she wept at the fact that she had lost her home and friends. She didn't remember how long she had laid on the ground sobbing at her misery, but Bekka would have her first experience with humans when a group of criminals brought a bound and gagged man and woman to a clearing not too far from her landing site. Even though she wasn't experienced in earth;y customs, she could tell that the two humans were being prayed upon the others.
She may have had her heart broken by her banishment, but she was still a warrior and she had made an oath to defend those truly in need. She grabbed her sword and made her presence known to the criminals who proceeded to laugh at her asking if she thought it was something call Halloween. She responded ordering them to leave the man and woman alone and go away otherwise she would slay them all and showed off her sword. They still laughed and one man pulled out a automatic rifle and fired off several shots at her. The bullets bounced off of her as if they were plastic toys and she went on the attack.
Her strnegth and speed and excellent swordsmanship made quick work of the criminals leaving a couple alive to flee in a state of horrible fright. Bekka freed the couple and they fled in fear of her thinking that she had to be insane to commit such acts of violence. It didn't matter much to her and with that she started her exploration of the alien world that was her home now. Human beings were strange to her, they had crude sciences and supposedly sought enlightenment, but they were also violent and full of bigotry. Bekka was able to blend in with them thanks to her Mother Box creating a disguise for her. The device gave her a human name for her to use and decided that Rebecca was the closest modern human name to her own.
Her Mother Box assisted her in getting a job and a place to stay. Accepting that the Mother Box wouldn't be able to send her home Bekka spent the first few months of her new life among the humans in a state of depression at what she had been reduced to. The Mother Box kept her from thoughts of possible suicide, but it couldn't rid her of the diminishing fact that she had gone from a New God living a life of luxury to an outcast living on an alien planet. She was a stranger living in a strange world and she wanted to go home. She didn't make any friends or allow human males to get close to her.
Even though her skills in combat had diminished during her first year on earth, Bekka would find hope in her possible return to New Genesis when she saw Superman's first appearance over the media. It seemed that earth had its own share of godlike beings and Bekka saw the Kryptonians example of fighting against the forces of evil and she believed that this could be her way back to New Genesis. Once again donning the garbs of her people, Bekka became a protector of the people of Los Angeles and the rest of America. The more religious people of the city called her an angel sent to protect them from the wickedness of sin and a light in the darkness. The news media called her Wonder Woman and Bekka went with that name.
In 2012 she saw the news of Darkseid's attack on earth and seeing the tyrant slaughter of innocent people made Bekka join with the newly formed Justice League in repelling the hordes of Apokolips' invasion. After the invasion she went her separate way, but assured the team if another crisis happened she would be there to help.
It is now 2016 and even after many defeats of villains she had did battle with, Bekka was still able to return home. Her hopes were starting to fade and she wondered if she would ever see her home again. All she had right now was her powers and her hero identity.
Attributes:
New God physiology: As a member of the powerful New Gods race Bekka is granted several extraordinary abilities, which include.
Superhuman Strength: Bekka is able to lift well over a hundred tons.
Supersonic Flight: Her top flight speed is Mach 3
Superhuman Durability: She can take a lot of hits and still keep coming. Bekka has taken blows from beings with strength comparable to Superman and still continue fighting.
Expert Swordswoman: Bekka is an excellent swordswoman and has crossed blades with some of the most skilled sword users in the galaxy.
Excellent Hand-to-Hand Combatant: She has trained in Martial Arts with warriors on New Genesis and combat experts on earth.
Mother box: This is device that many New Gods use, it can used to open and close boomtubes for short or long distance travel, as well as heal wounds. It also can detect life and can create force fields for protection and alter the users appearance.. A mother box is sentient and works similar a computer. Bekka mainly uses her mother box for teleportation during battle and disguising herself when she is not doing heroics as Wonder Woman.
New God Sword: Her sword is made up of metals that aren’t found on earth and makes it tougher than titanium and nearly indestructible. It is capable of cutting through most earthly materials, but it does have trouble slicing through diamonds, but human flesh is like butter to it. The sword is magically bound to Bekka and she can make it fly back to her when separated from it. It is also too heavy for an ordinary human to wield and will electrocute anyone who tries to wield it.
Stomping Grounds: Even though she is a New God from the planet New Genesis, Bekka spends most of her time on earth specifically around LA.
People of Note:
Izaya: He is the all powerful leader of the New Gods and was responsible for her banishment.
Orion: He is a childhood friend of hers and also happens to be the Son of Darkseid.
Himon: he is her father who happens to be the inventor of the Mother Boxes.
Darkseid: He is the tyrant ruler of Apokolips and the wielder of the powerful Omega Force. Bekka had plans to try and kill him, but was stopped by her fellow New Gods. She considers him her greatest enemy.
Mr Miracle: He is Izaya's son who was exchanged with Orion and raised Apokolips. He eventually was able to escape and thus became known as the greatest escape artist.
Giagantra: While on earth Bekka had a run in with a woman who was of incredible size who used her size to rob banks and team up with other super villains. Bekka has had to fight her on many different occasions.
Cheetah: A very disturbed woman with the appearance and bodily movements of a cheetah. Her speed and agility is incredible and her animalistic brutality made Bekka have several confrontations.
Granny Goodness: She is a trainer of Darkseid's soldiers and elite guards. She is sadistic and considered pure evil.
Character Goals: Bekka seeks to find her place back amongst her home and people. She views her task with protecting earth as being part of her banishment from New Genesis as her only way of being allowed to return. The exact terms for which she had to meet in order to return were not given and so she he is left in a world almost unknown to her and she feels like an outcast among the humans of earth. Her hero's journey is one of finding redemption and the way home. Her sense of justice is on the gray side of the moral spectrum, she will not shy away from killing, but she does feel remorse even though her warrior training has tried to hide it.
Sample Post: Bekka could not believe her predicament, she was being led in chains to the all powerful Highfather for crimes against the safety of New Genesis. Her action were for the greater good of New Genesis in her mind and she was indignant at being placed under arrest. Orion and several guards brought her before Izaya who sat upon his large throne with a look of anger in his white eyes and by his side stood her father Himon. Even though she allow her face to show it Bekka felt a wave of fear rush over her at the sight of her ruler's anger. Her father didn't look her in the eye and she could tell he was ashamed of her actions.
"Glorious Highfather we have brought the daughter of Himon before you to stand trial for treasonous acts against your authority" one of the guards declared. Treason?! She was no traitor, she was trying protect her people and home.
"Don't say anything foolish Bekka, admit to your mistake and beg for forgiveness" Orion whispered to her hoping that she would listen to him this time. Bekka just snorted and looked away from him. Izaya then spoke in a deep and powerful voice.
"Bekka daughter of Himon and protector of New Genesis, I am greatly disappointed in your actions and because of them Apokolips is declaring the peace treaty broken and war may soon follow. Do you have any words that you would like to speak?" he asked. Bekka despite her fear clenched her fist in anger and let her temper get the better of her.
"I have done nothing wrong nor am I a traitor, I did what was best for my people!" she bellowed.
"You did what was best for you, you were clouded by your hatred of Darkseid that you didn't think of the repercussions of your actions. My word is law Bekka, by braking the treaty you have commited treason" Izaya spoke firmly and his eyes became even more angered.
"Then maybe your words have become weak!" she said defiantly. Several of the guards gasped in shock at her words, never had they seen someone especially a warrior talk so rudely with their king.
"You are no different than a spoiled angry child! You are only thinking about yourself and not those around you!" he boomed causing the throne room to shake.
"And you are a foolish god who is blind to what evil will do if it is allowed to exist!" she retaliated.
"Enough! I have made my judgement" Izaya got up from his throne and began slowly approach her. Bekka tried to struggle, but the chains prohibited her movement.
"Bekka Daughter of Himon, for acts of treason and war I Izaya Highfather of The New Gods hereby declare you an outcast and banish you from New Genesis! No Mother Box will allow you to return and no god is to help you return. Your exile will last forever until you learn what the true power of a warrior is and truly see your mistake" he spoke and with those last words the Highfather opened up a boom tube and she was flung through after having her chains broken.
Her father hadn't said anything and neither had Orion, she had to face the consquinces of her words against the Highfather. The boom tube opened up several feet above the ground of a place she didn't recognize and landed hard on the dirt. The portal closed almost immediately afterwards.
I've got a few ideas. A certain version of Kyle Rayner is a mainstay in my character library. Otherwise Azrael, Ragman, Clayface, Pied Piper, Cap Boomerang, Roy Harper, and Rokk Krinn seem to farm ideas in my mind. No clear selection has been made yet.

I've got a few ideas. A certain version of Kyle Rayner is a mainstay in my character library. Otherwise Azrael, Ragman, Clayface, Pied Piper, Cap Boomerang, Roy Harper, and Rokk Krinn seem to farm ideas in my mind. No clear selection has been made yet.

Interesting concept.
