It's not common but it HAS happened. A lot of the time it involves his perceived responsibility to PREVENT fights. Sometimes getting involved only makes things worse, though. Especially when you're wasted.

@Lugia Looks fine ^^. Although it probably won't affect your post, you should probably be aware that he's not physically holding his sword right now. It's stuck in the ground in front of him. And you would also probably know that he has just about zero control over his magic if he's not holding it.

Anyways, my character should probably be more effected by the cold, also, it's just that, right now, he's kinda meeting up with an old enemy of his, so... kinda focused on that at the moment.

Well, that was kinda just to outline that he never actually visited the actual city, living in the outskirts on his farm... and I left it vague due to the whole 'mighta conquered this city before that one, so it'd be the other way around' thing.

I think the comparison of Germany's failures in WWII shouldn't be made with France's failures in the Napoleonic Wars. It should be Germany's failures in WWI. Think about it; why did they fail in WWI? They were caught in a two front war with Russia and the rest of the Entente. Why did they fail in WWII? They were caught in a two front war with Russia and the rest of the Allied Powers. And it's not like the Napoleonic Wars, where they were a century old when WWI started, World War One happened two decades before the second one! Hitler even fought in it! And just when he signs a non-aggression pact with Russia, and you'd think he's learned his lesson, what does he do? He attacks Russia not only during one of the coldest winters in Russian history, but also long before he's done with Britain, and we all know how well that turned out for him. He somehow managed to combine the failures of two previous, major wars into one decision. I consider it to be one of the stupidest tactical moves in human history.

Man, I haven't ranted about history in a while. It feels good.

Anyway, I went ahead and tossed a truncated version of Nihonto's backstory onto character page if anyone's interested.

It's getting late now and if I find the energy to post at all, which I don't think I will, it'll have to be for the other RP. I'll probably post tomorrow though, regardless of whether everyone has posted, because introductions get really weird if everyone just shows up at the same time.

I figured this would be a good time for Frey to show up. Be like, "Don't draw attention to yourself!" Then be like, "Oh I drew attention to myself, time to play it off coolly." Since this mostly affects Lugia, does that work out for you?@Lugia

Also, one reason why my guy would not go and get with the typlosion: I could make it thât Erion has a shirt woth the royal emblem of his country... and that he dosen't want to be discovered.

I would need to add that item in my caracters belongings.

As for who's gone where, so far, we're actually split evenly - two in Nihonto's group and two in Feuer's.

First post done... I had it ready partly before, just needed the confirmation and though about who to join in with.

I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to get Otto to join in.

Well, maybe he could notice the commotion, and, much like the others, would want to help out? Maybe he was a part of the crowd?

@Ridlins I set it up in a pretty neutral setting so that people only needed a reason to be in the castle to join, but your character is definitely an outlier. It's possible that we may have to wait until the group ventures outside the city before he meets up with them. If you would rather he join immediately, well... there's absolutely nothing but himself stopping him from just walking into Schwarzenburg. They don't exactly keep the place on lockdown and they don't chase out people that could potentially prove to be either paying customers or valuable assets.

I'm kinda waiting on Ridlins' post before I post again.

I'll wait until the group leaves the city. Just go ahead and post without me until it gets to that point.
