I'll be working on my post this evening, but I was playing around with Photoshop and an online fantasy map creator using the map Crow posted up a page or two ago. It's by no a true reference to the world as it's a personal interpretation, but I thought it'd be cool to share.



I used the details in the first post to give it a rough design, and I remember Chexmix mentioning mountains between Leonias and Argent in one of his posts.

It was on the map posted back a few pages [Link]. I don't think it was mentioned at all in the opening posts as a playable area of origin. It may have been put there as a later story element in the original incarnation.

Shouldn't really matter. We can just refer to it as the Antarctica of the world and use it later if need be.

In the previous version, it was an 'emerald sea', a forested nature land whose god was Celebi.

Whether it is retconned or altered is up to us. But we'll get to that. Like NuttsnBolts said, we can pass it off as some sort of Antarctica - few to no humans, lots of Pokemon, and replace frosty fields with forests and swamps.

That actually sounds really cool and ripe for exploration. Maybe people tried to colonize that place but all that's left are just ruins of small towns and structures scattered about the region.

I don't think so. We seem to be splitting off at the moment, so maybe we meet in the forest while heading west...?

We could have a few people go along the east coast or some through the mountains between the two nations. The split would help reduce group size for a while and thus mean we aren't traveling as one big hoard (allowing more more problems to arise mid journey)

I only chose west for my character because she knows surf and her homeland is that way, making it easier for her to pass to the north.

I'm kind of towards one big group, as opposed to splitting into two.

But, what is your opinion? Split up or one big group?

Excluding Twilight's characters, and my two characters who have yet to appear, we have 12 characters, if you wish for a gauge.

In groups of 2, we'll have six each

I'm not really much for splitting, but if we do, I vote 2 groups at most. I think it might be better if we get into a group before setting out, just my personal input.

In groups of 2? Did you mean 2 groups?

Having a smaller group will prevent people accidentally being ninja'd when it comes to posting, and would allow them to learn the other characters later. 12, as a party, with up to 24 Pokemon (give or take) is pretty huge. It's not really a quest, but a march.

I dunno. That's my opinion, but what about everyone else?

@c3p-0h I wouldn't mind Shu traveling in Gentry's group, we haven't even really gotten to expand on knowing each other yet. Of course they could be rivals in opposite groups too.

Currently it seems like @nuttsnbolts and myself, probably also @ananfal (since your first interaction was with Gentry, response still pending) will be traveling together.

@NuttsnBolts Now that you mention it, that does sound like it would be a bit strange. Especially since a lot of the characters have more than 1 Pokemon.

Yeah, we'd all meet up at Aurios at perhaps a pre determined spot or something. So it won't be a long term thing. :)

Ananfal would be great if he was to come with us. ;) I have an idea for her race and mine with the recent wars and conflict.

Splitting up before meeting up at Aurios might actually be plausible...

So, how about this: We travel in groups of six. One group goes Leonais, the other goes Argent. We meet at Aurios. Once we're done with our business at Aurios, we can all travel back in one big group, preferably via the route with better weather conditions.

How does that sound?

How about each group contains my character and NuttsnBolts' character respectively? After that, we'll then decide who goes to Argent and who goes to Leonais.

If you agree with this idea, go ahead and choose a team.
