"Yep flame is the name of the game" He says while exhaling the smoke from his lungs out through his nostrils floating. He stares at her hand noticing the callous, and wonder what her weapon could be to form so many. He tries not to stare too much and shakes hands with his new boss. That's when it hits him.

"fucking demons that want nothing more than to see you ripped limb from limb"

His mind becomes bombarded with his mother's memories burning behind his eyelids. Until he realizes that it's actually happening, his dark sunken eyes turn ember, fires dancing in them. He began hearing screams and laughter.
He takes a long drag of his cigarette until it's almost finished and blows the smoke heavily from his nostrils. He hopes to control these trigger words better in time. Nobody needs to see him in a rage, at least not yet.

He pulls out a lighter and another cigarette quickly lighting the new one before stomping out the old one. He can't help but feel his eyes burning. Better my eyes than my whole body. He thinks to himself. "Well it was definitely a weird way to be found agreed, but I've never done anything horrible. Well at least not to humans, or anybody worth mentioning. I haven't had to talk about all the things I've done much, some people would probably have a problem with what I've done, maybe I should lie. He thinks to himself.

He feels as if her final remark was her way of saying she's got her eye on him. Regardless he was expecting something like this, at least she was nice enough to sort of dance around the subject. Realizing it's grown rather quiet as he's been lost in his own thoughts he follows up with another question, "So is it just going to be you and I, or is there an office party I'm missing?"

There was a long delay before she replied, her body still as though she was heavy in contemplation. It was like she was dead, if it weren't for her chest moving ever so slightly.

"Party?" She said, finally opening her eyes, "Well, Corwin sure likes to spend his nights out messing around, but the rest of us "rejects" like to just dabble in the few." The woman spoke with a stern, hard tone that one could tell had a hint of femininity, hidden deep somewhere.

"But me? Nah, I don't really like to be around too much people. Gives me headaches."

She then swung up from the chair, placing the empty bottle on a nearby table. There were so many things to figure from the man, but from his repressed Essence radiance, it was hard to figure much just from her "senses." One thing for sure, was that he hadn't been trained in the more subtle parts of exorcism, and had spent a lot of time focusing solely on survival.

"Where supposed to be moving along with a mission of sorts, but one of our members are still out there in the Divide..." She mutters, looking to the walls, her eyes staring intently right through the metal, "I'm sure you've heard of the Spirit Passage? You know, the time of night when Spirits are at their peak strength?" she asked, but immediately waved her hands dismissively, shaking her head, "Ah, just forget the details. All you need to know is that the large magic influx weakens the sanctions of the Gates of Suffering within the Divide. This allows for demons to slip through, and when enough do... well... you know what happens after that."

A sly smile perked when the next thought crossed her mind, her eyes flaring momentarily as she turned to face Constantine, "I hear someone's causing trouble during such times of the Spirit Passage... and it isn't a demon."

Still sitting in his chair smoking Constantine listens intently to what his new boss is saying. Never taking his eyes off her except for when he needed to blow smoke in the opposite direction.

"Goody I love missions." Constantine says somewhat sarcastically, but really he was getting kinda restless and was in the mood to get the show on the road.

"Who could be causing the trouble if not demons?" Constantine asks, hoping the answer to his question isn't him. He can't help but tense his body up, getting ready for a surprise attack. Leaking out just a bit of his Essence, spending a lot of time in survival mode he still doesn't have much of a reason to trust his new boss, even if she was kind enough to give him a drink. Feeling as though a half-finished cigarette wouldn't be enough to possibly fight someone good enough to be his boss, he casually, but swiftly pulls out a new one and lights it with his mind, before extinguishing the old one.

He inhales deeply looking at the two cigarette butts on the floor next to his feet, if he could die from lung cancer he's sure he would, quickly purging the thought he goes back to staring at his boss, hoping she doesn't take his slight hostility in the wrong way. A fight with a coworker, well boss on the first day will surely send them all after me, fuck it if I'm going to have to die I'm dying on my terms. Constantine thinks to himself letting out just enough Essence so that he could pull his weapon if necessary. Sorry I couldn't cut it the first day mom. Constantine thinks to himself while staring at his boss expecting the worse. Maybe there's another place after this one and we'll see each other, but I doubt it.

Constantine casually stands up, and rolls his sleeves back. If he's going to die here he's going to be goddamn ready for it.

Anelle watched the man's actions, her face grow still and measured. Her body followed her expression, though her limbs and motions were much more fluid. After a short buzz of essence flowing into the room, she immediately grinned, her smile crooked as ever. There was a fire burning within the man, almost literally, and she could feel the energy welling up as he turned up throttle. Though she was supposed to set a fine example to new recruits, there was no need to go overboard on the guy for his first days within the society. She had no scars to prove it, and her youthful body dissuading such ideas; she's been in more hopeless situations than most of the people in Erro. Demon hunting was most of her life, and while she hated it, this job was what gave her a reason to live.

Anelle began moving slowly to the side, her eyes always centered on the man. Each step she took generated a low thud with her sneakers, her smile trailing with the rising glow in her eyes. The room seemed to shrink as the tension pulled at the two, the walls sliding inwards with the energy. She made sure to not give off any hints of action, her radiance completely off the radar to the man.

Then suddenly, her hand slipped behind her back.

The being turned to Melissa and asked if she had any questions. She opened her mouth, thinking of something to ask, only to have her throat feel tight as she couldn't even manage to release the words from her mouth. She closed her mouth and looked down at her feet, speechless; she has no idea where to even begin. She didn't even know the name of this place, let alone where this being was leading her. She just kept her questions to herself and continued to look at her feet.

There was a silence between the two as they stood in the hallway waiting for her response. Her body jumped a little; startled when the being began to speak again. They noticed.. She looked up to the figure and watched as its hands worked their way up to their hood. She stared a little too obviously as their hands rose closer and closer to the hood; She didn't know what to expect considering what she's already witnessed so far... an afterlife, glowing symbols that open up into a room, some sort of magic.. She wasn't even sure this being would have a human form. She watched intently, wanting to know what possibly lurked under the shadows of that hood.

In only moments, the beings face was revealed. Melissa's lips slightly parted at the sight of this person. Not only that, but that husky voice belonged to a female. She was a little surprised that she almost didn't hear the rest of what she had said.
Realizing that her expression seemed to be a little rude, she immediately closed her mouth, straightened herself up and looked back at her. After fully taking in her appearance, she reacted lately to what she had said. Melissa's face grew slightly confused as she wondered, Not alone..?, her eyebrows furrowed at what that could have meant.
Her question was quickly answered after a brief moment; that she wasn't the only person who had been brought back from death. She wasn't even sure if this was considered life.

The woman's voice got lower suddenly at the mention of the souls carrying out a task for them. Her head tilted to the side slightly, and she spoke aloud, "Our task?" now a little concerned with what they're having the "others" do and what she might have to do as well.
Looking slightly beside the robed woman, Melissa noticed two people approaching them; one of which was the man she had seen earlier, the other unfamiliar and looking fairly young too. She pulled her attention from them and looked back at the robed woman's eyes, searching for her reply.

The robed woman swept aside some of the long cloth, turning and giving the girl some time to think. Obviously she was utterly perplexed by the whole situation. Her single eye blinked, not sure if her words would help the young girl. Thrusting the truth into people wasn't going to make matters any less confusing anyway. She thought of releasing a sigh, but kept her lips tight. Her shoulders didn't slouch but she was weary of the constant reminder of how the peace around them was only a temporary thing, and while she'd rather spend it alone, it would've been a nice time to sit down and conduct her studies.

"We are the protectors of humanity... the ones who guide the dead to another life." the woman said, her face still faced away. There was a moment of silence, the voice suddenly growing very stern as she spoke up again.

"But we are not angels. In fact we're more like reapers, using our powers to kill many more Souls than we can ever hope to guide..."

She seemed to be searching for the next proper sentence, but the sound of voices echoing down the side caused her to turn, immediately scowling at the sight of Corwin's "stupid' smile. Her eye glanced between the blonde man and the individual they had found earlier in the Divide. Despite her gesture towards Corwin, she made an attempt to smile at their Jessie, albeit with a modified frown that was very dragged at the sides.

Her single purple eye locked onto the young man, her body standing a few inches taller than him, "Are you doing fine? I'm sure Corwin here has explained things to you."

The eye abruptly shot to Corwin, who quickly turned his head up and away from her gaze.

The robes swung as she turned around, "We would have to move soon, and judging by the time, Mark is running late yet again." She shook her head, "He's probably off drawing a picture or talking to some spirit again..."

Jessie and Corwin approached the duo of women together. He stood a little bit behind Corwin as the woman with the purple eye spoke.
She turned to Jessie and said, "Are you doing fine? I'm sure Corwin here has explained things to you."
Jessie couldn't quite hear what she said. He was too focused on her eye that bore an unnatural hue of purple.
"Oh, yea," replied Jessie quickly looking away from her in the eye, "I'm Jessie by the way."
The tall woman turned around, her cape fluttering as she spun and Jessie heard her say, "We would have to move soon, and judging by the time, Mark is running late yet again. He's probably off drawing a picture or talking to some spirit again..."
Jessie didn't notice the woman shake her head. The lady with her though didn't seem to talk much. It was as if the woman was in charge? Jessie looked at Corwin before the group prepared to move to a new location. His eye raised, Jessie gave a expression to Corwin that seemed to ask "Whose that?"

Corwin caught the look from Jessie, grinning while he tried to make a face that said "You don't want to know" only to receive another glare from the woman. The man immediately leaned back, letting out a weak laugh, patting Jessie on the back. There was few things he was scared of, and this woman while charming, if not for her obvious personality and physical flaws, has the uncanny ability to turn his work days into absolute hell whenever she was displeased. On such days, he'd return back to his quarters quite almost literally worn to death from all the mindless labor.

His smile widened while looking down to the man, speaking out in a loud, cheerful tone, "I've told you all about what's going on, right? Of course I didn't put that off until later! What kind of irresponsible person would do such a thing?" trying his best to avoid the robed woman's uncomfortable stare.

Watching Anelle move her smile slowly forming Constantine started to feel a little excited with what could be his first engagement since joining. He tried to make out some sort of Essence, but he was unable to feel anything. He felt a little fear building up but all he could do was smile at the thought of it. Constantine started laughing maniacally, "Fuck it, test or not might as well show you what I got."

And with that Constantine inhaled deeply on his cigarette the ashes quickly swirling around him magnificently as his body was engulfed in flames. He let out a deep breath fire dragons swirling around and dissipating quickly as he decided concentration over showing off. He just couldn't help himself though, he loved violence. His laughter filling up the room. He looked at his clothes none of them seemed to be burning off, so far so good.

"This is where it gets really good." He said laughing even harder at what he was about to do. He grew his horns out protruding out from his forehead, and curving backwards. He smiled showing off his perfect teeth, only then did he notice Anelle's hand quickly moving behind her back.

Shit, I'm fucking careless. Constantine followed suit and called forth his cursed weapon. Fire burning from his hand he winced as he called forth his blade. He formed it into that of a styled Katana, his weapon taking cue from his body was inflamed. He made a fire dragon wrap around his sword. He was ready, and he was excited he felt an odd blood lust filling him up.

Something is a little off but, oh so right. I could probably take it a step farther. Just you fucking push me." Constantine kept laughing breathing heavily and waiting for her to make the next move.

Anelle observed the man turning into his true form with a slight grin, her hand still held behind her back. His flames were impressive and the raw heat coming from them was beginning to singe the room around them. The woman flipped her long scarlet hair, actually relishing in the heat that he emitted.

"Haha, I like your attitude, Constantine." she called out, "I heard you're pretty good in a fight... but I'm the type of person who has to see it for herself."

The room suddenly engulfed in a pale wave that took all color around them. The furniture and walls turned a pale white, and the shadows seemed to grow even darker. The fire emitting from the man was the main light source now, and his bright flames revealed the woman still remaining near the end of the room. Her left hand was still at her back, and even when her opponent seemed to draw a weapon, she didn't. In fact, she didn't seem to be grabbing onto anything with her hidden hand, simply leaving it there. Her grin was more than enough for an answer.

Anelle's eyes glowed within the darkness, the vermillion irises now shining like stars, "I'm a little tired of paying repair costs for my "recklessness"... so I've set up this little space for us. The barrier I set up around us should be able to hold all the carnage away from this room."

Her voice then dropped to a sinister whisper, "Don't hold back, I want to see what you've got."

"Whoever you heard from was telling you the god-forsaken truth." said aloud staring into her eyes. Still waiting for the sign of a weapon being pulled forth, Constantine was surprised we he didn't see any. He still couldn't make out any sign of Essence, or Radiance as Anelle made a barrier.
What the fuck. Constantine thought to himself, he never thought about a barrier. That definitely would have been helpful on some of nastier dinner's he had consumed. If Constantine had a choice he'd probably make his last name Carnage.

The crackling of his flame seemed to be the only noise in the room. It became deathly quiet as Constantine concentrated. Now that there was a barrier he might as well push it a bit.

Constantine let out a deep breath from his nostrils flame coming out from them, but instead of his normal red he flames came out a light blue. Constantine planned on straining himself and going for a heatwave. His body's flame turned from bright orange to a deep blue.

Constantine felt a slight strain on his soul as he held this form, but he knew he could probably go farther. He let go of his weapon his flames holding it steady in air, as he rolled up his sleeves. As his tattoos hit the light, they began to burn and glow quickly matching the color of his fire. "I probably won't have enough time to concentrate and make sense of this crap, so I'll just stick to what I know best." Constantine said as he grabbed his weapon from the sky.

As he grabbed his weapon he noticed his sweater becoming a little singed he could control the intensity of his flames, but not what they could and couldn't burn. She could probably kill me anyway who cares Constantine thought to himself as he turned his deep blue into that of a white flame. His flames had a hint of yellow as his sweater began to burn. Only half aware of his sweater burning Constantine threw his backpack behind him, it would really suck if that got burned.

As he felt his soul beginning to really stretch he also felt the blood lust grow stronger, he's never felt the need to maim someone as much as he's feeling it now. Maybe it's because he hasn't had a good chance to feed recently. Regardless he started to feel a bit dizzy. Constantine tried to think of something cool to say and his lips tried forming words, but only pale white fire came out his eyes turned a deep red, and his skin began to turn burn a little black.

He rushed at the woman, his only game plan to slice her open. With no formal training in the way of blades he relied heavily on being quicker and stronger than his opponents, He began slicing madly yet precisely at his intended target. Only slightly focusing he flames started spreading outward from his body hitting the edges of the barrier.

Melissa continued to stare into the eye of this woman awaiting her answer until she had turned aside and away from her. Melissa only grew slightly more confused as to why this action had been made, could it be that perhaps there was something serious going on around here? She wasn't sure what to become of this new situation. But before panic grew in her, the robed woman once again spoke after a silence that felt like it lasted forever.

A light sigh of relief made it's way out of Melissa's lips as she heard the robed woman say that they guide the dead to another life. She was sure that that was a good thing and that they were brought to a better place. A thought occurred to her as she thought about this, did this mean that heaven and hell existed? If these places did exist, what is this task that she has to do?, it just didn't seem to make sense to her at all.

She took another look at her surroundings; the room was completely white and although the person before her was dressed in complete black, she didn't seem to be a dark evil being. She took slight comfort in her current circumstance as she didn't feel like she would be in much danger in this woman's hands.

Melissa's feeling of safety was quickly altered as the robed woman changed her tone at the mention of them being reapers more so than angels. She felt her heart stop momentarily as she tried to understand what she meant. "...kill many more Souls than we can ever hope to guide...", are they trying to help them? She couldn't see a reason why they couldn't "guide" certain souls to another life.
She looked around at the ground trying to search for her answer herself, but she couldn't quite grasp it. Her mind wasn't in the right place; still jumbled up from everything that's happened so far she decides to just leave her questions to be answered later.

She shook her head and looked back up to the robed woman and figured that what was to happen next was her fate and that she had to accept it any way it came to her.

The pair that was far off on the other side of the room had caught up to their current location and was now standing before them. The robed woman seemed to make a disgusted look to the man she had been scolding earlier; Melissa could tell from the start that she didn't really enjoy this man's presence as he seemed to laze around on the job.
But she quickly turned her attention to the younger man beside him and tried to act more kindly to him. Melissa stared at the young man, looking him up and down as she analyzed him. She knew from the question that the robed woman had asked him that he was someone like her; someone who had just died and had been brought back. The young man answered the robed woman and even mentioned his name, "Jessie". She thought for a moment, tuning herself out of their conversation, she hadn't asked this woman for her name, yet she already knows the names of the men before her who she had just recently just "met".
She tuned back into the conversation as Corwin had answered the robed woman's question from before. He seemed to act strangely in front of her but she didn't blame him since she looked a little intimidating.

After a short moment of doing nothing, Melissa stepped forward beside the robed woman, looked at the two men in front of her and took this opportunity to introduce herself.
She tried to smile to the men, seeming a bit forced but enough to make her look like she was trying to be genuine as she said, "Uh, I'm Melissa... It's really nice to meet you." She looked at Corwin and slightly nodded with a small smile and said, "..and you again."
She slowly turned to the woman beside her and decided to take this chance to ask her one last question, her smile now gone and replaced with and apologetic expression, "I didn't get your name.. what was it?"

Anelle could only wait for Constantine to unleash more and more of his powers, watching the man with a smile that was less than savory. She didn't move from her spot though, and remained still by the wall at the other side of the room. The heat was making her excited and her eyes sparkled with a ferocity. The heat seemed to invigorate her, and her usual lazy slouch was gradually beginning to straighten out. There was little more that she enjoyed than plain battling it out with someone going at their fullest. Even if it was too impressive yet, the willingness coming from him made it ever intriguing.

"That's right! Come at me!" she yelled, the excitement lining her voice, "Show me all you've got!"

It was clear if the man heard her of not, but soon charged at her with his blade, the fire streaming in a blazing white trail. He had blood in his eyes, and for a moment looked nothing less than a demon. It was like a monster was cutting through the fire, his body gliding, forcing the flames apart like a tidal wave. The fire crashed against the barrier, but it did not falter, the white flames shooting up like walls around them.

Her eyes glinted, and while she didn't make any obvious moves, three rocky pillars snapped up from the ground behind her. She wanted to see how far he'd get, and her smile widened. On will, the pillars separated into thick slices. Piece by piece, the disks were shot off at tremendous speed at Constsatine. There must've been at least 10 launched in the air within the span of seconds, and the three pillars still had more than half their load. A straight charge would mean he'd be forced to use up his strike or dodge, considering the speed of which he was running.

Constantine's blood lust was stronger than ever, his mind was split into two. The monster that was charging at his new boss, and the man who watched calculating the amount of pressure he should be exerting. The sounds of the room were damped to him, all he could hear was the fire burning around him, and his own laughter. His skin almost completely burned black, he was dashing when he realized rocks were flashing at him.

The version of Constantine watching himself thought, Goddamn she's fast, this is going to be good. He willed his body to try and doge the slabs of earth moving towards him. His speed being the main thing he's focused on in his life, he was able to successfully doge 6 of them. He sliced through the other three.

Stopping about halfway to his intended target Constantine stuck a pose thinking, Well I don't see any weapon yet, please tell me there is more. Hoping on egging his opponent on Constantine absorbed his weapon, and began launching fireballs Anelle. Wanting to match his opponent he launched 10, his white fire still dazzling around him. It didn't seem to be fading as it grew larger emanating from him. He charged at her reforming his blade into a cutlass, and with a slice through the air he threw a wall of flames at his opponent. His stretching soul beginning to feel a bit uncomfortable.

The man had nearly become an entirely new, twisted being by the time he zoomed through most of the projectiles, cutting down the rest with his burning blade. His energy seemed to be getting even stronger, though she noticed a slight variation in his essence flow. He stopped mid-way and sent back an exact number of fireballs back at her, the flames coursing along with the laughter in the air.

But before any of them came reached her, Anelle's body was blocked off by the large wall that erupted before her, the flames crashing against the side. The wall remained their, and she called out to him, "Is that all you got? Your flames won't be enough to crack this earth, let's see what that sword of yours can do."

If she wasn't so experienced, maybe his raw strength would've proved enough to break through. His demonic appearance was getting to a point where even a Soul Harvester would consider him an actual demon, despite his unusual radiance. She wondered how far he would slip before he would burn out. This was more than just a simple physical examination, it was also a mental one. What was the use of a glass cannon? If he was pushed to the limit, would only his will be enough to fight the urge to kill?

It was also because of her commanding position that turned this into an personal analyze of any weaknesses he may possess... when things did go the wrong way.

Reynar crossed his arms as the tapping of his foot grew steadily. The man's shift from almost impervious confidence to uneasy caused him to grow uneasy himself. The sheer novelty of the world he'd been thrust into would have cracked most people wide open; Reynar's stubbornness acted as his only boon. However, when the man that just sheered a giant monster in half with ease is put on edge, that boon does little for a man.

Confusion crossed Rey's face as the stranger thrust the bag of bizarre white powder into his hands. After a moment of hesitation, he followed suit, throwing the white powder over his head. He might have felt ridiculous, if their lives weren't apparently been under threat.

"Um..." Reynar responded, "Like demons demons; heaven and hell and all that good stuff 'demons'?" There could not have been another point in his life that Reynar felt more lost. "I can't say I have."

The fire around him cackled loudly, masked only by his own maniacal laughter. The calm and collected version of himself decided that maybe he should ease back a bit, he doesn't want to seem like there's a demon inside of him waiting to let loose. Then again He thought to himself Maybe there is

Is that all you got? Your flames won't be enough to crack this earth, let's see what that sword of yours can do." Anelle's words pierced through Constantine's psych aiding in only rebuking the thought of slowing down some. Constantine only more annoyed, pushing on the edge of losing consciousness.

Constantine let out a thundering roar white flames exploding from his mouth, dragons dancing around him. He dashed inhumanly at his opponent screaming all the way.

Constantine sliced madly at the wall in front of him cutting it in half horizontally in a single stroke. He then jumped back trying to circle his opponent he sliced erratically and cut down all the pillars surrounding Anelle, finally jumping in to slice open his intended target.

Melissa she said. Thats her name. Jessie did his best to mirror Melissa's smile while he gave a slight nod looking away from eye contact.
"..and you again.." she said to Corwin. I guess they've all met before. Jessie thought before he heard Melissa ask, "I didn't get your name.. what was it?" to the purple eyed woman. [i]guess not.[/] Jessie took a deep breath as his hand went to scratch the back of his head. Jessie looked away from the group to his surroundings as he pursed his lips to the right, clearly not that interested in whatever was happening at the moment.

The man saw the Reynar's sense of dread swelling up, realizing that it was partly his fault for losing composure so quickly. He tried his best to fix things, shrug off the negativity around them with a light grin, "Well... that's very unfortunate... Then I won't lie to you, we have a very slim chance of survival."

He then shrugged in attempt to alleviate the last statement, quickly adding in, "But don't worry, I've been caught out during the Passage before. And if anything, this will prove to sate your curiosity of what we have to face here in the afterlife."

Even saying such things, he felt that the things he said didn't make anything better. He closed his mouth, then opening it again, only to close it again in consideration as to what he would have to say next. Moral was already getting to the drop-off and the next sentence can make or break this whole situation. He's seen people go mad from just seeing a demon, and was glad this man had the mentality to get through these things.

Then a thought struck him, and he thrust his hand into his pocket. He dug around for a second and was about to pull it out when something outside made him freeze. At that very moment, the shadows around them began to swirl, and outside, the lights began to grow dimmer. What little color that was held within objects was gradually drained away. Soon enough, it was like a thick fog had covered the outside of the store, a swirling mass of darkness that seemed to leave only the slimmest hint of light.

Mark sank closer to the wall as faint blazes began to illuminate up among the darkness, shifting up from the ground, slowly and gradually. Barely visible, outlines of strange shapes appeared and the various lights carried along with them. A single humanoid outline was in the middle of these forms, breaking off and coming closer to the front of the store. The two lights at it's head were glowing a deep yellow, flickering as they swayed back and forth. The other beings around ignored this smaller shape, and soon enough it was just the lone being meandering closer to them. Stopping at the windows, the outline appeared very narrow, nearly human-like, standing still inside the shadows outside. The lights were the only clear marker, staring right at the two men.

The man pulled at his collar, gulping tensely under the unrelenting stare.

Turning very carefully to the right, he spoke in a barely audible whisper, his eyes laid straight on the strange shadow, "Alright Reynar... I want you to do one thing..."

He took a single step and just then, the figure twitched.

"Run!" he shouted, dashing down to the back of the store, making a clear line for the exit. Turning his torso slightly, he thrust his hand towards the window as he ran. The salt around them on the ground pushed, as if by a gust of wind, outwards in a extended line before the windows.

He called out, the air around the salt thickening as his words were formed, "Thee who seek to claim our Souls, you will not break though my spirit."

A shrilling gurgle can be heard, and the shadow began to bash at the windows frantically. When the man had made it to the back, the sound it made shifted into a sickly groan into a biting scream as it threw itself against the glass. The two lights flickered wildly, flashing and revealing long crimson claws that scrapped at the windows.

...

Anelle seemed satisfied with the results as he cut through the stone like paper, sweeping around to get rid of her other obstacles. She can feel his mind slipping under the force of his other half when he took aim upon her with his sword. Blood lust filled his eyes, and his body had undoubtedly changed into something that was a demon. But by the time his blade even came close to her, she had already taken a step backwards, causing the blade to completely miss her. Almost immediately, the dragon-shaped flames from his body came roaring down upon her, appearing to come alive to secure the kill. She looked at Constantine, her eyes gleaming when the flaming dragons completely engulfed her in a white inferno.
She was entirely lost within the massive fire; the deadly heat, packed along with no sign of radiance was a clear sign of what happened. However, in an instant all of the flames were extinguished, vanishing without a trace. She stood before him, unscathed by any of his attacks.

Her eyes, still aimed towards Constantine, had pupils blazing with a now white gleam, "Admirable flames Constantine, but I don't think you can play fire with me."

It was about time for this little session to end, having kept close count of time the whole fight, she knew that the rest of the members were probably waiting for them. This was enough information for now, and anymore time in his true form would only prove to be dangerous to the man. Raw strength is a good tool for fighting, but if combat drags on for too long such power can become unfocused. Constantine's attacks were too televised, simply making dodging them an easy task for someone who's been fighting against Demons for most of their life.

She then lunged forward with blinding speed, a single hand aimed for his head. Once her palm came into contact, a light exploded from his forehead and the room around them began to crumble. To him, it would feel like he had just been struck on the head and beaten, but this was much more than that. She was just following orders.

Constantine could hear what was being said to him but couldn't pull enough effort into actually realizing what was going on. The room became quiet for a split second before a loud impact would be heard as Anelle's palm made contact with Constantine's head. The force behind the blow was precise power.

The room was filled with Constantine's sudden howling from the pain. With this one blow he felt himself drained, for a split second he was conscious to his surroundings and realized what was happening. He decided to try to calm down. As he died down back to normal he felt pain all throughout his body as his two conscious minds began to smack back together. All the fires dying down his horns slowly crumbling away into dust as his skin turned back from a deep black, into his normal tanned. His tattoos began to stop glowing as he crumbled unto the floor and laid there for awhile, finally realizing what had happened.

"I fucking lost, holy motherfucking shit." he said aloud pained laughter coming from his words. I guess that asshole who found me probably could've done the same thing. Constantine thought to himself, humbled ever so, he could feel his blood lust grow a little more than usual. His horns stopped disintegrating looking as if he was filing them down. He needed to smoke and ease some tension. Nevertheless he felt he would need to beat his boss one day. Putting these thoughts aside he looked up from the floor at Anelle her eyes dancing madly. Maybe if her defeating him didn't make him want to consume her, he'd think she was glorious.

"Would you be a doll, and hand me my cigarettes out of my backpack over there?" Constantine asked pointing towards his bag, "Unless of course you plan on ending me here and now, hey I wouldn't blame you I'll probably be a detriment to the "team" if I don't learn to control all that. Then again I could be devilishly useful.
