@RPforthatPR Okay, to be fair I added a rule. I do still want a bit longer of a bio, but it doesn't have to be on your history. Some more personality or just overall insight into his head will be just fine. I know it's annoying to revise, but that's all I need and you're fine.

I think Carter's character is awesome! I wonder how Carter and Ayn will get along, considering the fact that they are almost complete opposites (at least outwardly).

And I take a long time on characters too; I tend to overthink it a bit.

Oh one more thing. I kind of have a thing for writing in first person. I won't do it if no one else wants to, but I just want your opinions.
I find it helps me get in character.

I really like reading other people's posts in first person, but I personally am not good at writing first person. Usually my characters, like Ayn, hide things from and lie to themselves, making it more expository to write in third person. Most of my problem with writing in first person can be attributed to inexperience, however, as in the creative writing classes I took first person writing was discouraged.

That being said, I'd be fine with anyone who wants to write in first person writing in first person as it is my favorite POV to read from. If you would prefer it I can write in first person as well, it just might not be as good as my third person writing.

I write most often in third person because I approach my characters objectively and analytically, but I do like to sometimes write in first person because I think it's a fun way to get into character and really see things from the perspective of your character. I might do it for this.

So I'm totally open to whatever people want to do.

Okay well I just want everyone's opinion because I know roleplay is often (and almost exclusively) done in third person, so that's probably what everyone's used to. I just like to change it up. Plus I change my writing style per character and you can't do that as well in third.

I agree with Divinity, I'm far more used to 3rd but as you know I'm willing to experiment. I'd have a lot more to write about if I'm concentrating on his inner world, just hope it doesn't get too annoyingly grim because I have the feeling he will be for the most part.

We could all write from whichever POV we prefer, unless you'd prefer otherwise or think that it would be too confusing or disorganized.
In the end it's your decision.

That's the thing, jumping from one to the other can get confusing. which is why I asked in the first place. It can be done but it's best we stick to mostly one or the other. If you feel like first person won't suit you as well, it's fine. I do want the best possible option for everyone but I do love my first person writing

Okay, I'm totally fine with writing in first person since that's what you like writing in and I need experience in it anyway. :)
Based on past posts, it seems like Divinity and Wind Wild are open to writing in first person as well.

Awesome post! I started working on a post myself but will have to wait until the morning to post it as I am becoming very sleepy.
I'm so excited to start this RP! :) I like how, like you mentioned before, your writing style changes a bit between characters.
