Got my post up in reply, sorry it took a little longer than before, but I'm pleased enough with it. It keeps things moving, and I had fun with the descriptions in it, and making my reactions. Really excited to see things still moving along quickly, and getting towards the big finale.

I will admit, my post was a bit crap, it wasn't as great as I wanted to make it.

Your combined awesome, Skyth and Silver, just finish it off in my head- that scene now seems very vivid in my head, and I'm glad you managed to make a better sense of it than I did. It gives it a greater depth and perspective, and I thank you for that.

After the exams, possibly even post-Lima, there may be some more RPs from me in a simular vein, which I would be interested to continue onwards. A few ideas linger- the failed Arma 3 one I did, as well as the one myself and Skyth were in (Harvest Red), along with a whole multitude of others have gotten me thinking. Possibly of a more combined arms, broader story than I've ever embarked on- with a bit of alternate history thown in; encompassing the role of intelligence agencies, fighter pilots, and maybe others.

I've been playing around with an idea that revolves around foreign troops occupying some country (Could be Altis and Stratis, for an ARMA 3 slant) in a peace enforcement/counter-insurgency operation. Less to do with huge, wide-scale military ops or even special operations (the troops would be the regular rank-and-file) and more to do with just getting by without getting blown up by an IED, mortared by insurgents and trying to win over the local population. Sort of like a slice-of-life RP with a military setting.

You could use the idea if you want. I'd start up an RP like this, but I don't have the time, and seeing as how I'm going on a course to be converted to regimental police *coughglorifiedsentrycough*, I'm probably not going to find the time in the near future to run anything.

It's fucking tempting, that is for sure. A place like Stratis rings out well, and while it wouldn't be a lot of shooting, there would be some interesting stuff to see.

Another idea that lingers is an idea of something a la MAG, which was on PS3 over five years ago now. A team of mercenaries working for a huge PMC, and while it wouldn't be massively futuristic, it would have carbon fibre come black honeycomb-made armor, and plenty of FN F2000s and P90s. Because future. I loved Raven in that game, by the way, if you can't tell. Definitely more to it than that, such as possibly the re-arranged paradigm of the world, but it would definitely have something interesting about it.

It was ideal. The next scene catches up with the prologue, if you vaguely remember it. Crossing a street going towards a hotel, sirens blaring, Jan commanding the team to push up rapidly against more terrorists. I do plan on it being a good on, as my last post in itself wasn't that great.

Sorry it took so long to get my post up - I had exactly what I wanted to do in mind, it was just a case of sitting down long enough so I could form it all properly and put it up. I hope it's all right though. I wanted Scott to do something compassionate amongst all of the dire events, and also to up the stakes a bit, since it's near the climax of things. Plus I haven't had a chance to use my pistol yet either xD

I was thinking of having him get a wound in the next couple of scenes too, as it seems like a good place for something like that, and to drive the stakes up that bit more too.

It worked really well actually- I wanted it to really be an unrelenting scene, with no drop in pace as Jan legs it after them, so I'm glad you did bring that element in. There is a good reason that Jan is using that Glock, by the way.

Also, happy birthday mate! Fairford looked good from what I saw :)

Thanks! It's my birthday tomorrow, and I'm having a bigger celebration with friends at the weekend. Alas, I did not have enough annual leave to take the whole week off of work. You're right about Fairford though, the airshow was fantastic. So much amazing stuff to see there. A friend of mine said she spent the Saturday and Sunday, and still didn't manage to see everything. I'm pleased the weather held out too.

Glad you approved of the post as well. The mood and the pace are really going well at the moment, I hope we can keep it rolling along towards the finale.

Sorry for my prolonged absence, guys. Apparently I have to undergo an abridged version of infantry training, so I'm stuck in camp for most of the week (like now). Long holiday from the 7th to 10th of August, so I'll be back for a while then. Assuming this isn't over by that time.
