A set of noises begins, this time at the side of Brenner's room. Faintly at first, the trio hears construction work, mostly hammering and sawing, including the grunts of labor. Strangely, there are low moans and some rattling as well. It gives the impression that people are doing some carpentry on a nearby house.

The house itself is slightly visible, but will only be seen if peering out the window at a certain angle.

On the other hand, William's side gets even noisier, enough to not help them sleep.

Emmett hears the clanking sound getting louder and louder until it started to get annoying. "Alright, what the fuck?" He gets up and peers out the window, looking for whoever the fuck is making that noise. "Farming equipment can't possibly sound that loud. What's going on out there?"

"Not just looking for bugs, Cecelia." the old man informs, abandoning his search to check once more out the window, looking through at every possible angle until his eyes settle on the mysterious construction "Technology is not my only concern, and something s definitely wrong here." Brenner adds, testing the window for latches to see if it can be opened

As Emmett and Brenner look out the windows, they each see that the field and the street are dark, but the moon provides enough light for them to see and realize what is happening. For Emmett, he sees farmers tending the field. For Brenner, he sees carpenters working on a nearby house. However, these workers were not ordinary. Most of them are slack jawed and moved jerkily. Focusing on one reveals rotting skin, even missing limbs for some.

On Brenner's side, a figure fell off of the second floor of the house being constructed. When it hit the ground, its parts scattered, and a nearby figure walked to clean it up. In this action, the figure becomes illuminated, revealing itself to be an animated skeleton, defying physics, among other branches of sciences.

As you observe them, they continue on with their work, toiling on the field and on the house.

"Oh, that's bad." Brenner notes, "The ones building appear to be undead, possibly zombies." sitting down on the floor to the right of the window, the old man opens his notebook "Reptilians don't use reanimated dead for workers, Zeta's can't stand this humidity... Venusians? they have the technology, question is why would they be out in this region, they tend to stay near lay-lines," he rambles on, "This could be a new species of visitor, something parasitic? I might be the first to document them... he looks at Cecelia and Lane "Either of you girls got a pen?"@Rogue Colm@Castle

Brenner says, standing from his place bythe window and once again peering outside, jotting down a few more quick notes about the creatures "You girls stay here, lock the door behind me." he instructs, stepping towards the door and waiting for a response to his hurried ramblings

Just as Emmett turns to the door, he hears a knock on the door and voice coming from the other side. "It's Brenner, the crazy old man. Let me in, we need to talk."

Emmett opens the door. "Come in. I was about to go over your room."

Brenner steps in quickly, pushing the door shut and locking it behind him "I'm guessing the folks making all the noise over here are decomposing?" he asks, making his way towards the window and peering out, making a note in his book, he looks over the others in the room "So, either of you seen anything like this before?"
