Welp, I know I mentioned posting my character a few days ago but work and family related issues required my time. I haven't been able to do much on the site since then, other than creep around on here through my phone, but my schedule has loosened up recently and I'm not so pressed for time anymore. So if this roleplay isn't dead yet, which I hope it isn't, I'll have my character up sometime tomorrow.

You could always give the interest check a bump, try to gather more players before officially laying the roleplay to rest.

@Izuriel Steam@Redrum Honestly I could run this with two more people. The original design was a 4 man team. It also worked with any multiple of four since I would send 4 on each mission. If you guys were ok with it I could run with just one more. I'm not sure it'd be the best option but it could be an option.

It is an option, yes, but I think it might be a good idea to give the interest check another try. You could always post a second interest check in the general interest section, and give the first interest check another bump. It'll be kind of hard to pull the story along with just four people, but ultimately what you decide to do is up to you, @jasonwolf.

@Redrum Is making a second interest check even allowed? I certainly would since we basically need to re-recruit, and since the OOC is open it make work out better. I just really hope I can get this RP off the ground at least. It's always the worst to see it end before it begins.

@RedrumWell I've added the second threat now. I guess all we can do is wait and work. I've been doing the first post to help keep the RP alive in my mind. Fallout 4 hasn't helped that much though. Besides that just stuck dealing with the usual trappings of RPs.

Hey no worries! I find RP's work better between a fewer amount of people!

If anything, one of us can play more players if need be, but I don't think it is. Besides, groups of four often rely on every member contributing in a more divided manner. I think just the few of us can handle a good story, if nothing else! It's not quantity, it's quality. And if our quality is amazing with a few people as opposed to good with four, I'd rather opt for amazing. After all, you can still recruit once we've started a bit. Write a backstory with a new player before they "happen upon us" so to speak. :)

@Izuriel Steam I suppose you are right. I'd rather have two roleplayers of high quality than four of lesser. Honestly the longest RP (and my favorite) has been a two person RP. That one literally is how I met my girlfriend and we've written it for over five years now.

@Redrum If you guys really want to run just us three then hey I would write for that. Decolonized is a project I'd love to see happen in anyway possible.

And then if people do show up then hey we can add them in. The mission structure of the opening will have fast and slow spots made for characters to show what they do and who they are. A nice balance of characters acting and being. I'm already at a nearly 4 page opening just since I'm enjoying it so much (forgive me, but with 3 characters who I want to characterize and lore to finalize I feel like I have to do everything)

I would like to further note that any players who come and must leave, if for any reason, I would gladly assume their roles in a proper manner, if you allow it. I know people tend to drop out when the going gets good, and when that happens, it can cause a good RP to die. Though you will write the lore, I will gladly help out in anyway I can, for I am but a grasshoppah.

Also, I read this somewhere:
"Collaborative stories aren't simply 'couplings of friends writing together.' They are highly concentrated, energetic, vast, immersive stories that grip your attention. Sometimes a short story between two people is as equally as fascinating as a scene out of Harry Potter or equally as important as the Bible."

I've been super busy with work these past few days, but this inactivity shouldn't continue for much longer. I'm just about finished with my character, so I'll have her up tonight and I'll start on a post in the meantime as well.

I kind of had an idea where Jaklo stayed in the arena just so they could converse (I figured they know each other, at least a bit), but either way is fine with me. Let me know how you like it once I'm done!!
