Its been a while since I posted one of these but recently I've found myself with more of a schedule receptive to roleplaying as well as a lack of partners to accommodate my muse. I am primarily looking for an casual-advanced writer, as I typically put out around three solid paragraphs on average. This can be fewer or more depending on what exactly the scene demands; a fight scene may only have short posts for example, whilst an introduction or something with more exposition may take up ten. I have absolutely no hangups on gore, graphic violence nor sexual content, however I would prefer to know the other person's hangups/limits/gripes before hand just so things don't get awkward further down the line. Nobody wants to waste time stepping on glass now do they? I have no objections to fading to black, however I usually default to writing the scene unless it's stated before hand. With that being said, whilst I have no issues with writing such scenes I'd prefer for them not to default to be the entire basis of the roleplay.

At this moment in time I am currently looking for something Modern Fantasy, though I may stretch to Steampunk/Gothic if the right plot jumps out at me. My preference for this is something darker and gritter, both in terms of actual plot content and thematics. Corruptive, twisted magics, cults worshipping powers with a sick morality that cannot be comprehended, generally just a lot of vile, cynical, self-serving people (you know, like the real world), where the 'good guys' do not always trimuph; people/characters are flawed, have dubious intentions, grey morality runs rampant and so forth. That aside, I don't really like things getting over the top. I like my settings to feel grounded - grim, but grounded within belief - rather than bloody, horrific carnage flowing from every other wound, and everybody and their mum being a psychopath. That aside, I am a big fan of horror. I am open to romance but I prefer it to be a slow burn between characters who click, especially if they're not starting off on the best foot. Disclaimer: Despite the title I'm willing to roleplay MxM occasionally and non-sexual plots with male characters (as well as female). I am always happy and likely will include NPCs/minor characters of different genders, races, etc.

As for characters, my own tend to be the anti-hero sorts; crude, cynical, bitter, rough, stubborn and generally not the nicest. They're hardly villains though, and are usually half-decent people in the end. I am however always open to clearly antagonistic and generally just 'bad' characters, especially when the plot revolves around a hostile one between the two (or more?) characters. Maybe something more corruptive/predatory than the more benevolent angle I tend to go with on my usual characters? Right now on the cards I have a werewolf character who is an FBI Agent that I am further looking to explore, as well as several other concepts in my head including vampires, demons, etcetera.

Concepts

Not an exhaustive list but just some concepts I wouldn't mind playing:

Occult
Investigation
Corruption
Crime
Cults

Species

Again, not exhaustive:

Human (Mortal)
Lycan +++
Mages (Human)
Vampires
Demons
Ghosts/Geists/Reapers

Happy to answer questions, brainstorm and provide writing samples.

I would be interested in talking about a few of your ideas if you are still looking for someone?
