Ah, but when you're fighting with swords and bows, war stops being a numbers game and becomes a contest of skill, and we all know Europe's age old tradition with sword and shield. In fact, the most likely scenario in a world without gunpowder is a world predominantly ruled by the European nations, Japan remaining a small, isolated country but gaining power as a land that lives and dies by the sword, and possibly a smaller version of Russian simply based on the tenacity of their fighters.

@chukklehed I think the Byzantine empire would still be around then, as well. Africa might retain independance from the rest of the world too; hard to fight zulus without rifles. Similar might be said of Native Americans (though many of them still would die of disease.)

Indeed, tis but a scratch.

Or possibly a symbol that not all male characters need be womanizers?
A stance against the notion of knights coming from only from Caucasian ancestry?
A subtly racist hint at the concept of ethnic subservience between races?
A proud representation of two different kinds of people working together as a team, one wielding their social influence as effectively as the other wields a sword?

...Or just a picture?

@Gate Keeper@Driving Park Whatever you guys are taking about, I'm lost.

@crestfallen Well, it's really just been make a character and then pair it with one that doesn't have a pair yet sort of thing. I believe Gate has a character without a pair? If you're set on making more than one though, let us know and I'm sure someone will pair up with them. Or you could make an odd Knightless Noble who refuses to get another Knight after the death of their first or something. I'm flexible. :P

Yeah, I don't mind pairing em! (I see you edited it into the char sheet, I will do so as well)

@crestfallen My knight is without a partner at the moment, so if you don't want your characters paired... *shrugs* I am free game there.
