Friends or Pets: Although she doesn't have any friends yet, she has a kitten that means the world to her.


Background

Personality: Adeline is quiet for the most part but once you get to know her, she opens up and becomes very outgoing. She smiles and laughs a lot but also struggles with self harm and depression at times. She is very smart. Smarter than almost of the other kids she grew up with so she never really had that many friends. She always puts others before herself even if she doesn't know them. She will sacrifice her own happiness to make sure that everyone she cares about is happy. She is quiet about her views on many subjects but if you ask her, she will give you an earful. As caring as she may be, she is very proud of who she is and doesn't care about what others think of her. She only has a few people she respects and cares about their opinions and thoughts. Everyone else has to earn her respect. She does not believe in the "respect your elders" saying. She will only respect you if you respect her as well.

Biography: Adeline comes from a small town in Northern Nevada and went to a very small public school. There were only 50 in her senior graduating class at Modoc High School. She lived with her grandparents her whole life but hated it because they could never fill the hole in her heart from never having either of her real parents. She had never met her real father and her mother abandoned her as a child. Because of her mother's neglect, she was abused for 2 and a half years until her grandparents got custody of her. She has lived with PTSD, depression, self-harm and sleep paralysis but masks it well around her friends. That being said, she doesn't have many friends because no one can hold an intelligent conversation with her and she can't stand dumb people. She has 3 or 4 close friends and no more. Music is her escape from everything wrong with her world. She sings for at least 2 hours a day and if she doesn't, she gets depressed. Even when she's sick she sings. Her weakness is animals. Her cat means the world to her.

The Supernatural

Powers Taken: She can read minds if the person she is targeting is okay with it. But her time is limited depending on how long the person grants her time for. She can also send people into a trance and make them tell her information about themselves and they will not remember afterwards. She basically has human manipulation powers but they are slightly limited.

Power Weaknesses: If someone cuts off her ability in the middle of when she is doing it, it will affect her physically. She will become tired and weak because her power was wasted and it takes a while for her to be able to use it again, usually about an hour.

She looks good, but floor corresponds with grade level, so she would be 13th if she was a freshman in college. Also, the powers should be striked out because none of the characters have them back yet.

Does the number of your dorm room change anything about your character? As far as I know, I requested to be a college student but I noticed that everyone else's dorm room number was in the thousands and mine was 13... haha

Guys, I am so sorry... I'm going to have to close this down. People aren't posting and there isn't as much character interaction as I had hoped for... I'm sorry Alina, I know you just got here, but that's kinda the fact. I also just started working on writing another book and I want to give as much attention to that as I can and not get distracted by the Guild. If any of you want to reboot this, you have my permission.
