Sky watches, and upon seeing Cliver's wounds she automatically tries to go to him. It was something she just always did, often with little regard to her safety due to the nature of her upbringing.

Lilith wandered further into the cave on her own her torch only illuminating a couple of feet in front of her. She was entirely calm until she heard footsteps echoing behind her; her breath hitched in her throat as she spun on her heel to see Drek and Cliver approaching. The sight she let out was both one of relief and frustration.

"Guys, what are you doing here? I told you that you needed to rest up and that I could handle this."

Drek bows before Lilith, the light of his fire dancing off the cavern walls.

Sky looks up at her, then back at the cave. "Okay..." she sighs, closing her eyes. She relaxes a bit into Sarrai'a, feeling surprisingly at ease with the woman. They all seemed fairly honorable, and not really bounty hunter like.

*Sarrai'a feeling Sky relax in her arms slowly helped to lower her to the ground letting her head rest in her lap, her new pack was strange but, the bonds they had formed in this short time felt quite strong and she was glad to have them*

Lilith looked at Drek in horror after hearing what he said. A warrior never goes to battle without their weapons? He was referring to himself as her weapon? No. No, that was so wrong on so many levels. She would not have someone dying for her. Not again. NEVER again. A couple of hot tears ran down Lilith's face as she grabbed his hand and squeezed.

"Please, please never say that again, Drekven. You are by no means a weapon or tool of mine, you are my guild member, and it is my job to keep you safe. I know I'm not a strong or dependable leader, but I am by no means weak enough to allow someone to lay down their life for me, so please treasure yourself more."

She then let go of the warlock's hand and began to wipe her eyes before her tears started to flow out of control, and turned around so they couldn't see her all red-faced and weak.

"You two can follow me if you stay quiet, we're here to stealthily scope things out, not to fight."

Drek's face flushed red with embarrassment, not that anyone could tell in the orange glow of his small flame.

"Well I didn't intend on dying..."

He quietly slinked behind Lilith deeper into the cave.

Cliver could only bring himself to nod awkwardly after Lilith outburst and follow silently behind.

There was another ugly story. He wondered how many there were in this rag-tag little guild.

The walk through the cave was heavy and awkward, with only the sounds of quiet footsteps, flickering flames, and the occasional dripping sound that was to be expected while being in a cave. The area seemed rather desolate, without even a bat to be found; it was safe to assume the ice wolf had scared any other potential creatures from the den. Just as the mall team was about to turn around and leave, a small yawn caught their attention. Under further inspection, they found two entirely normal wolf pups huddled together as they slept.

"Oh, it looks like the beast adopted these two..."

Drek kneels down in front of the wolf pups. Gently he lifts one up into his arms and holds it gently.

"They will be our friends. We will teach them the ways of the domesticated breeds. They will be the pride of our guild, emblems of honor and valor. Also, we will knit them fuzzy sweaters."

The puppy yawns and looks up at Drek sleepily, wiggling in an attempt to get more comfy. The other puppy wakes up and begins to whine now that it's source of warmth has been taken away and begins to paw at the warlock's pant leg in defiance.

"It must have driven out a wolf pack that lived in the cave. Those two were two young to make it out." Cliver started quietly, then hastily whispered whispered to Drek once he picked one up. "Put it down. If those things start making noise now that the big one is gone their parents are going to come looking."

Lilith furrowed her brow, Cliver had a point, but she was also concerned that something had happened to their parents or they wouldn't come back.

"Anyway, it looks like the ice wolf had been feeding them, at the very least." Lilith stated, waving her torch over to reveal the corpse of what was probably an elk, chewed up beyond recognition, and soft enough for the pups to eat. It smelled absolutely putrid. "There's no guarantee that their folks are still around, you know...I think I'll return in a few days to check and see. It'd be pretty cruel to let babies that just learned to walk starve to death."

Lilith bent down and scratched the crying puppy behind it's ear to soothe it's crying.

"Besides, tracking animals would be useful for the guild, and Sarrai'a would love them."
