Someone help out my younger brother

He started a new game on Y and wants his starter to be an Omanyte (praise Helix, herp derp) however, Omanyte is only available in Y post-game, and he says all the Global Trades for it are legendaries or super high level.

Anybody currently have Y in the Post-Game that can break a few rocks, get the Helix fossil, revive it, mate it with a Ditto, and trade him the egg?

Told him, he says he doesn't care so long as he can get the egg. He says that Pokemon traded as eggs won't disobey you if you level them up too much, which I had no fucking clue was a thing.

He needs the egg he says, not the Pokemon. Pokemon hatched from eggs will obey you even if traded. If you give him that Omanyte it'll begin disobeying attacks if he raises it beyond the level cap for the badges.

Apparently over regular trade, yes. Wonder Trade doesn't allow it. The Original Trainer will be the person who has them when they hatch, so that means it'll be like he's the one who caught them.

He says if it's not too much trouble if you could give him a few of the eggs if that's possible so he has a better chance of getting a decent nature. All he has to trade are a few of the basic route 1 things.

He's asleep, btw. This is just what he said and what I've found by Googling. I've honestly never done egg trades before, so this is news to me. I'll let him know in the morning and he can deal with the trading, I'm just kinda the go-between.

Already did. c: I didn't know about the egg trades either.

My site blocking add-on is about to shut the guild down, though, so we might need to trade tomorrow
