Ok guys, I don't really have a plot for this yet, just seeing if anyone is interested. Basic idea, vampire RP, not really sure where I want to go with it. It can be two families fighting, one family against the human race, two families against hunters, etc. This is just a general interest check. If you are interested post your interest here as well as some ideas you have for the RP. We will build off of everyone's ideas :)

I've been looking for a different vampire rp for a while. I don't want to lead it. I'll write well and keep it interesting, but I would like it to be semi adult and realistic.

I always enjoy roleplaying an eccentric sophisticated emotionally torn killer so consider me in!
I too would like to keep a level of gritty adult realism and would be happy to help guide the conflict and confrontational side to the story.

I've been looking for a different vampire rp for a while. I don't want to lead it. I'll write well and keep it interesting, but I would like it to be semi adult and realistic.


I saw this last night but RPG has been throwing a fit. I would definitely lead the game, I really want to keep it adulty and as realistic as possible. This would be a slightly high casual RP so at least a paragraph per post (at least three sentences).

I'll probably be playing my usual physically weak, but mentally strong and gentle damsel in distress XD but I may also give her a male guardian role with a more stoic personality

I have a general vampire character that I typically re-mould for specific rp's. I prefer to play an older one, seeing as I'm excessively aged myself and feel like I've pretty much seen/done everything. I can play wise, jaded, established, be an advisor or a ruler or maybe just a mysterious badass down the street. I'm thinking of being really pro-vampire with him this time, maybe even borderline evil predator. I'm sure that will clash with somebody's character.

Abalites would include bat transformation or flying, hypnotizing humans, supernatural strength stuff like that

Limits, obviously sunlight weakens them, no controling other vampires even if there there is a character that is an "original" and much older and stronger, ummm that's all I can think of right now.

If you have a question as to if something is too much, just let me know and we can work it out. I am going to wait and see if we get any more hits in the InCh in the next 24 hours and if not I will make the OOC :)

Tell me, what general style of vampires of we talking here? We looking at some Stephanie Meyer? Brom stoker? Anne Rice? What sorts of realism are we going for? Is it going to be focused around romance? (I just ask ad it was ragged romance) how fantasy are we getting with abilities and such. Are we going gritty descriptive gore? Is it resolving around large amounts of violence or less violent conflict? In any case, it is had caught my interest so I'd love to give it a go!

I can't believe you even brought up Stephanie Meyer's wanna be vamps, but since you ask, no not them. More Brom Stocker kinda mixed with Anne Rice? It will take place in modern times, romance is allowed but not the focus. If you have ideas for what kind of abilities you want your character to have, shoot me a PM and I will tell you if it's too much for this RP. As of right now I am not limiting anything since I still don't have an OOC up so basically anything you come up with will probably be accepted. As for violence, yes please. Only let's keep the gore to a minimum for those with weaker stomachs. Like I said, I still haven't come up with a concept for this yet, but by tomorrow there will be a concept, an OCC and a CS... wow I have a lot to do tonight :P

I'm sorry ma'am XD it's just I'm thorough and have had bad experience with people wanting to just rp without addressing the basics required to rp Hehe.

Yes yes I agree Stephanie Meyers take on vampires is grossly misinformed and really just a teenage girls wet dream. But I had to address it to ask XD some people are in love with that XD that is very reassuring that you share my sentiment for her, how should I say, unguided bullshit twinkling high schoolers xd

I've been tempted to play a vampire for some time now. Probably a hunter that is a vampire himself. Exiled from one of the families because of his bitter and resentful attitude towards the vampire kind. That would be interesting. Interested.

Not to appear without reason or stir up ancient rivalries yet, as my reputation might precede me, I am curious if this is still a potential plot in development? If so, what of other supernatural forces, if any? Your answer might draw me in, but I can understand if you would rather keep it to just this lot. My main interest was to provide an opposing force and presence... nothing overwhelming, just a challenge and threat beyond humanity.
