I can see a lot of possibilities with this and would be more then happy to help you set it up.

@Scrapula It would probably be old republic so that we could create the story of why Dagoba is a Dark Planet (a planet with locations drenched in the dark side of the force. That's how Yoda hid from The Emperor and Vader).

Out. No thank you. I read the approximate time-line for that (wookiepedia) and 1. Don't think that there would be enough Jedi for a whole platoon to go missing (a platoon being 15-30 people, and the Jedi order having just been wiped out again), and 2. I don't like anything after the Yuuzhan Vong War.
