Well now, I've been away from Roleplaying for far too long. I have so many thoughts going around in my head that I can't make sense of them (meaning I would probably need help coming up with a sensible plot).
But that comes after this, so I suppose I should give you some information about myself and what I expect from a roleplay:
First and foremost, I work, and more often than not, I'm doing overtime. So don't expect me to be able to swing five posts a day. If you are interested in roleplaying with me, it'll have to be a slower one. Expect two or three posts a week from me, sometimes I'll be able to do more, sometimes I won't be able to do any. It's my job, for that I apologize in advance.
Secondly, if you haven't noticed already, I use commas a lot. Too much. If you are strict about grammar, feel free to correct my grammar. I have no problems with my mistakes being pointed out, makes me a better writer in the long run.
Since I don't feel like making this sound so much like a list, I refuse to say "thirdly".
Anyway, I love all kinds of genres. Fantasy is my forte, but I can do pretty much anything. From mature, gore, war, torture filled stories to wild stories about hallucinogenic penguins ruling the world.
The length and detail of my posts really depend on my partner. I give as good as I get, for the most part, though I am sometimes prone to writer's block just like anyone else.
But really, I just want to have some fun. I like romance, usually MxF pairings, I have done some FxF(which kind of went into a master/slave type story. Was fun, surprisingly) and one or two MxM but I'm not the best at them.
There's some things I do not like to do though, fandoms being the main thing. If I do a story I want it all to be our own world where we decide the rules, it can definitely be based on a fandom, but not completely in it. I won't play a child, as much as I wish I could go back to being one, I don't think I enjoy writing as one. And...I believe that's it. If I have any other limits, I don't know what they are.
As for pairings I'd like to do...well, it's all up in the air really. I've been real interested in "captured" type stories lately, where someone is either kidnapped or well...captured and put into situations they'd rather not be in. Not so much non-con master/slave type stuff, but let's say, for example, a fantasy princess has been abducted, is being held hostage by a rival kingdom to discourage a coming war, and is now being forced into an arranged marriage to cement a non-aggression pact, that kind of thing. But that's just what I've been reading, not sure how well I'd be able to actually do it.
Anyway, I think I'll stop here, maybe if I nab a bit of interest we can expand on anything here or come up with something completely new. Either way, let's have fun with it.
