In the year 2126, a Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game or DMMORPG called Yggdrasil was released. It stands out among all other DMMORPG's due to its unusually high ability for the player to interact with the game. After an intense 12-year run the game servers are about to be shut down. Within the game exists a guild, The De Ordine Imperii (or Empire of Order to those outside of the group), once consisting of numerous members and credited as one of the longest lasting guilds in the game. Now only a of the members remain, the others have left the game, or unable to return for the game's ending for one reason or another. Of those members only a handful remain in time to say goodbye to the game that they have devoted so much time to. In order to celebrate their long lasting friendship, and their openness to other players they have hosted an open guild party for the remaining players who wish to participate in the final hours of the guild. Their guild hall known as Grand Arce Bellum. A grand white marble palace that few have conquered. Boasting renown warriors and talented clerics the guild was not renown as a 10 ten guild but a long lasting one as it had started almost shortly after the guild system was first introduced officially.
When the shut-down time arrives however, it would appear that the people have not logged out...Instead it appears as if Yggdrasil has been recreated as its own reality along with its various NPCs having been brought to life while the group at the party have been trapped in the form of their game avatars, leaving him unable to use the normal player functions, such as General Message, or even to log out. With no other option, the new Empire of Order prepares to find out what has happened...and if they can return to their new world. The world has become much more interesting than it use to be... ===
The guild known as The Empire of Order is traditionally meant to be a guild of humanoids though it was founded by an undead, a dwarf, and a human. The head guild mates were Almighty Greybeard (Dwarf), BorntobeBad (The Undead), and Doux (The Human). The guild was known to be relatively friendly, and heavily based on PVE style combat however a subsection was dedicated to PVP as well. Boasting a sizable wealth, and strong members they steady fastly held onto higher status among guilds though not known to be in the top ten for anymore than a few weeks at a time. Before the shutdown the last guild master also sometimes referred to as the Basileus, or Emperor at times was MaxedUltra who was an old frined of Greybeard before his departure. The common class among the guild mates were Templars, Clerics, Monks, and Paladins. Fighters, Champions, and other warriors were known to be a part of team comps as well. There were only a handful of pure magical users in the game.
1. All basic roleplay rules apply modding, meta gaming, and even god modding in this setting are restricted.
2. For whatever reason I reserve the right to not allow something into this roleplay. For better or worse I may reject something outright as right of gm.
3. I will be limiting the people who can be max level off the bat. Why? Because while Overlord is all about a power scale discrepancy between Momonga, and others that sort of thing is ill fit for a roleplay. If everyone is overpowered then how do I, as GM, stimulate an adventure where we can't just walk into a kingdom and destroy everything they have with our pinky fingers. You may be a high level but at a point I will be asking people to lower themselves down in order to make am more diverse cast.
4. World level items, and such are restricted on a case by case basis. You may ask to have one prior to the rp but I will apply rule 2 as I see fit.
5. Players who are missing for a week without notification will have their player characters killed. I will not tolerate a dead halt in the roleplay.
6. While I will be gm I will be expecting players to make up their own adventures as well. If you don't wish to go with the main group you may make a side story elsewhere. However if it is to have a long lasting connection to an overall plot please include myself in planning it.
7. While traditionally a humanoid guild Empire of Order will be allowing non humans into the guild hall before then. The NPCs won't respect non humans but they won't attack you on sight as per orders of the other 'high beings' in short you may be undead, or a lizardman if you so desire.
8. You may not post your character sheets in the character sheet section until approved of in the OOC. If you want to discuss it privately send me a private message. === Character sheets:

How a normal human would view me: Imperious and Imposing Personality: Maxwell is a drunkard through and through, hellbent on having the most fun and getting the drunkest at any social gathering he can. Often at no social gatherings at all, for that matter. With a rampant need for strong drink and avoiding social events that don't involve strong drink, Maxwell is easily described as a shut-in. It is not that he isn't a talkative person or anything it is merely described as a lack of interest for the cares of other people. The prime concern for Maxwell is Drink, friends, food. If you don't fall on the list you won't get the time you need. Ingame personality-wise he is a laid back and extremely friendly preacher of the heavens, usually talking about the gods he made up as part of his own characters backstory as to why he chose to be an Angel. Expect long winded speeches about the glory of the heavens and the enormity of the stars themselves.
Fully expects to be muted by most players. Bio/Lore: Maxwell is a workaholic and an alcoholic. His days not spent busting his back to make enough money for his habits are often spent indulging in his habits. Outside of those ywo things he most enjoys, you can usually find him at local conventions with his close Friend Megumi, a notorious cosplayer and busybody.
Being dragged out often and used as something similar to a packmule, Max usually stays quiet and wanders wherever hes dragged off to without much fuss. Recent years have seen him frequent the local recreation center for the use of its weight room, though still not as seriously as others would. His goal was merely to stay relatively in shape and thusbfar has succeeded despite weekly adventures in downing bottle after bottle of hard liquor.
His tenure into the online game Yggdrasil was another enjoyable habot picked up on advisory of close friends and found the shutin hopelessly hooked on leveling a character that served as his alter ego, even going so far as to cosplay a popular cleric armor set alongside friends.
Name: Shura Mikhailov Race: Human Gender: Female Character Level: 76 Alignment: Neutral Guild/Party Affiliation: None
Job Classes:
Warrior (15)
Mercenary (15)
Berserker (10)
Weaponsmith (5)
Fighting Style: Koschei excels in being in the battle, jumping in head first without thinking about anything else besides taking out as many people as possible, while at first Koschei's attacks seem just like swinging left and right to hit everything in front of them, they know more simply that. One of their techniques is half sword, a technique used for them to get around shields and control their sword better by gripping it by the central part of the blade; another technique they know is murder blows, an strange move where she grips the sword by it's blade and bash people with the guard and handle of their blade.
Strengths: Koschei jumps into a fight with almost reckless abandon without caring about the numbers or what gear they have; her main strength is simply attacking her enemies ruthlessly as many times as she can and using the damage they send back to her to fuel her anger and make her attacks. She's primarily a melee fighter using only a sword to defend and attack, secondly she uses intimidation to scare and at little times kill weaker people with an imposing glare giving into their true berserker.
Weaknesses: One thing that could actually stop Koschei is a stronger berserker, another berserker would stop Koschei and cause a long battle till one of them won. But Koschei's main weakness is magical attacks, weather they are elemental attacks or simply magical blast or weapons with elemental enchantments or simply magical offensive items. Another weakness would have to be Kiting, where someone such as an archer attacks and keeps retreating before Koschei can get within melee range to them.
Items:
Name of Item: Eye of the Berserker Rank of Item: Legendary Appearance: A tight, almost too small ring that with a deep onyx jewel on the band Description of Item: When worn, the ring grants the wearer health back with each consecutive attack Class/Racial Restrictions: Berserk only Downsides of Item: Ring only works when the user is injured, and only gives enough health to keep the user from dying not to full health
Name of Item: Moonlight Holy Blade Rank of item: Divine Appearance: In it's normal appearance it's a steel long sword almost bordering on being a claymore, but when held by a holy knight or Paladin it's true power is unlocked making it a great sword with it's entire blade covered in a blue Description of item: A Holy weapons made to banish both evil undead and demons when held by the right hands, such as a paladin or Holy knight, when held by a warrior the weapon's strength is cut down by a third of it's original strength and it lacks the blue moonlight glow looking almost like a normal steel sword, when held by evil hands it simply burns their hands rejecting them. Class/Racial restrictions: Warriors, Holy knights, Paladins, Templars, Weapon Masters Downsides of item: True strength is sapped unless a holy knight or paladin and it becomes a sword that's a little dull.

Name: Battle roar Job Class specialization: Berserk Effect of skill: Allies and user get a 15% damage buff when activated. Side Effects of Skill: N/a Description: Probably one of the more helpful of skills for a party or team, the Berserk lets out a roar that doesn't put fear into the hearts of their enemies, but it fills their allies with strength along with themselves
How a normal human would view me: To others, Koschei is a battle loving warrior who goes to no extent to get into a fight and pushes their way into battles even if they weren't involved to begin with.
Personality: One of the easiest ways to describe Koschei is Kind but yet ruthless, falling into her character completely, Koshchei takes on the traits of a warrior fighting as if every fight is their last one, jumping in head first into danger ready to fight it without a second bat of an eye and choosing to use the most brutal methods to take down their opponents and show others that she isn't to be thought of lightly.
But while she can be brutal and sometimes blunt, Koshchei they are very amiable towards people and others she considers allies or non-threats even if they were former enemies or in a time of need of aid from another person. While she may seem like she loves fighting and having valor, Koshchei hates being helpless and fears being put into a position where they can't act in any way.
Bio/Lore: Before becoming Koschei, they were first Shura, a shy albino teenage girl who didn't get out much and only had a handful of friends that they would regularly talk to, due to her albinism she couldn't hang out with her friends outside as much as them and would have to constantly take more breaks than them whenever they would do physical activities in the sun. While she either struggled to keep up with her friends or had to either give up on future plans, made her feel as if she was always dragging down or making her friends feel bad or have to walk on eggshells around her to make her feel either happy or feel as if she's apart of the group.
As she entered her middle years of high school, she got into an accident that left her a quadriplegic, because of her new position, she had to be taken care of by her parents along with a nurse that they had to hire. The moment one of her friends visited and told her of YGGDRASIL, when her friend explained it to her Shura didn't care much for it at first before being told that she wouldn't have to hold a controller to play it; When her friend linked her into the game at first she couldn't believe she could walk again or move her arms once again, she took her time making her character almost spending an hour before really getting into the game diving deep into everything.
Shura lost herself in the world exploring and fighting enemies with her friend before they logged off leaving Shura by herself to to take in everything. Once her parents pulled her out of the she had a need to return to YGGDRASIL and she wanted to return to it soon, she explained how everything in the game was to her parents and they nodded only half listening to her over dinner before she tried to get her father or mother to "Plug her in" so she could play the game but they simply brushed her off before putting her to bed, when ever she wasn't in the game and at home, she would plead with her mother, father, and personal nurse to get them to help her get into the game.
Then one day after getting into the game, nobody pulled her out of YGGDRASIL and while she couldn't pull herself out she didn't get scared and even liked that no one interrupted her play time in a world where she could walk again, where she wasn't hindering anyone or a burden to anyone around her, where she could enjoy the sunlight and probably even get a tan if she found the right items and took the time to do it, she didn't care about the outside world where she would be considered a hassle.
"Why just dolly around here for all yer days when ya can just let loose and go on a glorious adventure!"
Username: Tor Magnus III Real Name: Erik Fredriksen Race: Dwarf Gender: Male Character Level: 75 Alignment: Chaotic Good Guild/Party Affiliation: N/A Racial Class: Dwarven Warrior
Height: 4'8" (1.42 Meters) Weight: 155 Lbs (70 Kg)
Job Classes:
Hammer Master (15)
Warrior (10)
Shield Bearer (10)
Armor Smith (5)
Elementalist (Lightning) (5)
Fighting Style:
Tor is a heavy balanced tanky powerhouse, using his strength and cunning to win most battles whilst flexible enough to fit the shoes of both offensive and defensive roles. While many believe the dwarf to be incredibly slow and clunky at first glance, and they're not wrong to think this, he's actually rather agile and quick on his feet in small concentrated bursts even while carrying his heavy arsenal. Tor can use this stereotype to his advantage, often pretending to fit the description whilst observing the opponent's movement on the defensive. His shield is definitely strong enough to deflect most attacks. Once he feels like he knows how his opponent fights, the dwarf goes on a brutal offensive, using his raw power and speed to catch his opponent off guard. Even his magical affinity for lightning also helps him gain a slight advantage in strictly melee battles.
Strengths:
Tor's balanced roles allow him to easily switch from defensive to offensive roles depending on the situation. His dwarven heritage allows him to tank more hits than the average human, making him incredibly resistant to physical attacks. This is amplified significantly when using his massive shield, which can block most forms of physical and magical projectile attacks. His hammer, Mjölnir The Mighty, is also strong against armored opponents, however it's ability to conjure up lightning attacks makes it even deadlier as lightning can conduct onto most metallic surfaces, effectively shocking the person from the inside. This also makes Tor immune to lightning in general.
Weaknesses:
While Tor is known to be quick and agile, this is true when he's only wielding his warhammer and even then it's only for short rapid bursts to finish the job. Once he starts using his shield, his speed is greatly diminished and he relies on its size and durability to protect him. While he does wear light armor plating, his midriff and lower back are greatly exposed as a consequence for mobility, making it a prime target for faster opponents to take advantage of. In addition, despite his immunity to lightning magic, Tor is otherwise weak to magical attacks in general.
His short stature also hinders him from normally reaching high spaces, in which he'd need assistance in order to get to said places.
Items:
Name of Item: Mjölnir The Mighty Rank of Item: Legendary Appearance: (See Tor's Appearance Picture) Description of Item: A mighty magical warhammer forged by two of the best dwarven weapon smithies in the world, said only to be wielded by a member of the Magnusson family. It has the ability to cast thunderous lightning attacks with every swipe and gets more powerful the more lightning it absorbs. Class/Racial Restrictions: Dwarfs Only Downsides of Item: N/A
Name of Item: Svalinn The Stalwart Rank of Item: Legendary Appearance: (See Tor's Appearance Picture) Description of Item: A mighty shield that wields incredible durability. It's been said that only few weapons could penetrate through it. Class/Racial Restrictions: Dwarfs Only Downsides of Item: When wielded, significantly decreases mobility speed due to its size.
Misc Items:
Infinite Backpack

Description of Skill: Tor charges with his mighty shield in a straight line towards the opponent. It can be used in mid-air and is strong enough to break through stone walls.
Humanity's View:
Outside the Dwarven Kingdom, Tor is essentially a nobody in the grand scheme of humanity. However, since his race is incredibly rare amongst the humans, he is known to gain some curious eyes on him by the local townsfolk, which usually do not mind his presence since he's more human than monster. Most of his fame came from the people who actually played the game, not from NPCs themselves, as no one else even bats an eye at him for the most part.
Personality:
Tor is an adventurous dwarf, who always puts a jolly attitude wherever he goes. In fact, he's always been curious about the world around him. He has seen many things during his travels from kingdom to kingdom, from peaceful utopias to harsh realities, all of which he keeps archived in his trusty map. He is also one that loves to retain knowledge, usually on the places he goes and of the creatures he encounters on the way, and is very generous when socializing with others, no matter the race. He also has a merry affection for food and alcohol, as well as the decent ability to forge armors of any material he can get his hands on. He also has the constant itch for battle, always wanting to explore a deep, dark, dungeon or to face a champion of a local arena.
Bio:
Erik Fredriksen was born in Stockholm, Sweden and was in his early-thirties when he started playing YGGDRASIL. He was considered to be a well-trended hipster, often wearing flannel and average kahkis, as well as sporting a grey beanie on his head and holding a cup of black coffee in his hand. He even sported a thick beard in which he swore to only cut it once every five years. Prior to picking up the game, he was one of the head programers for a swedish video game company known as IceBerg Studios. The most famous games he helped worked on were often RPG-styled fantasy simulators, which included RuneMiners, The Adventurists and the Hammer Of War series. He also helped with several indie games, such as The Dark Forge and Isle Of Wulves regarding technical issues and coding. Overall, Erik was well-received by the fans and they applaud his hard and honest work, especially in a world where disappointment is considered the norm in many video game companies.
Erik's character, Tor Magnus III, was inspired by many fantasy games and movies he watched as a kid. He played Runescape when he was a young lad and took a liking to the dwarven faction. This was also amplified by his love for the Lord Of The Ring Trilogy. Thus when he discovered that YGGDRASIL had a dwarven faction, he immediately created a dwarven character and joined the dwarven guild "Axe-Force", which concentrated on exploration and adventure. Many players had mentioned how he was a pretty chill guy and how he was quite generous to them. He and his guild often explored the in-game universe and sought out for dungeons and arena matches whenever and wherever they could. One of the arena matches even rewarded him with the powerful legendary warhammer, Mjölnir The Mighty, and the shield, Svallin the Stalwart. These weapons helped him significantly in beating several extremely hard event bosses, only winning just by the hair on his beard. He became a sort of local hero amongst the dwarven race. In addition, he also discovered several ways to break through several portions of the map and access locations where he wasn't really supposed to be.
When the shutdown was announced, Erik said a tearful good-bye to his fellow guild-mates. He had been playing the game for a good six-years by that time and it was hard for him to consider leaving. Yet as he takes one last look at the game world, he suddenly realizes that he couldn't log off. He's stuck in this game. Now alone without his fellow guildmates, Erik embraced his character full-heartedly as he walks by his lonesome, still looking for new lands to explore.

Fighting Style: As an assassin, Rain excels at surprising an opponent and slaughtering them before they can react. In a more drawn out fight, she moves into hit and run tactics, keep herself mobile and out of sight. She works better in small groups or alone, especially with players that act as tanks or just distractions, allowing her to constantly ambush her opponent from their blind spot. Rain tends to not use offensive ninjutsu very often, preferring mobility and disabling techniques.
Strengths: As outlined, she's excels at ambush tactics; keeping herself hidden before striking out at her unsuspecting opponent. Her mixture of mobility and disabling techniques allows her to keep herself out of danger and her opponent maimed.
Weaknesses: Rain is quite bad at fighting in group confrontations. She is more suited to fighting single opponents. In order for her to fight groups of people, she must also be in a group or at least with one other person who is capable of acting as a distraction. She's also not very suited to combat in open fields or well lit places.

How a normal human would view me: A normal human would view me as a dangerous looking woman, but upon further inspection, they'd see me as quite agreeable for the most part.
Personality: Rain may look and seem like many others that share her profession. Cold, deadly, shady, untrustworthy. But she's actually quite different. While she is a calm, collected person when it comes to combat; outside of it she's quite sociable, and often quite cheerful. However due to the nature of her work, she lives to protect those who pay her for her services; making her seem like a ruthless person to those who oppose her client.
Bio/Lore: Outside of Yggdrasil, Megumi was a cosplayer in her mid-twenties. She loved making costumes and doing photoshoots as different characters that appeared in games, whether they be popular or not. She had a massive following on social media platforms, and often appeared at pop culture conventions, greeting fans and taking pictures with them. She was basically an idol in her circles, but she enjoyed spending time with her old friends that stayed outside such groups. Roleplaying was a pretty normal thing for her since she had a philosophy about being 'in character' when dressed as them. This growing love for roleplay extended to her persona in Yggdrasil, which she played when she had time.
She had always been enamored by the thought of Ninjas and their fantastic (and often inaccurate) depictions throughout history. Thus she started act as a Ninja stereotypically would in-game, and joined a roleplaying guild called "Raven's Wing" This guild was generally made up of mostly Assassins, Ninjas, Warlocks, and other classes that were considered 'edgy'. This guild was known as an 'underworld' guild, and often roleplayed as a mercenary guild during the rush for Guild Bases; helping other weaker guilds claim their own for a hefty price. The Raven's Wing also appeared in Guild wars as hired assassins. This kind of system only worked due to the poor AI of mercenary NPCs.
Despite what people might think of the guild, it was a relatively friendly one. Each member looked out for the other.. in their own weird way due to the diversity in character personality. Rain was one of the higher ranking players in the guild, often working as a Fixer for the other members, or taking on what's deemed as 'high profile targets' like boss monsters, and guild masters during guild wars.
Also, curious is me, will Ainz and his lackeys (or hell any character from the anime/novels/manga) show up at some point? That would be cool to encounter, even if they'll simply appear as cameos.
I'm starting to think this is world of tanks, we got so many tanks with only one rogue and one mage. Honestly I don't mind it, as long as I can swing my sword around and kill things.

I was thinking in making a second character, that's lightly armored compared to others. Maybe a bow-unit or something.
@LmpkioIs he an NPC? Because if he isn't the backstory doesn't work the bio is suppose to be an overview of his human life, and stuff before the world transfer ala Momonga's transfer in the show/manga.

OH - so that bio... that bio is supposed to represent the player playing said character?
If that's so, I didn't believe you stated this when you posted the sheet/rules. Yes Ik the players in the anime play their avatars, but again I didn't expect to be writing about that.
Either way, if that's what you want, I'll change it.
@LmpkioI didn't think that was needed to be explicitly stated I mentioned a log out in the very first sentence in the second paragraph, and my character has been up since I posted the OOC for reference.
But yes the bio does need to be re-done this is not meant to be vindictive, or what have you it just isn't what the bio is suppose to be, and or represent in terms of the character behind the avatars, which we will be playing. In other words we're puppetting, the guy now stuck in their old puppet.

@vancexentan Alright! I completely redid the bio and I think it looks good. Might add another skill or two if I can think of any.
Edit: Also I just created two new skills to add into the profile. What do you think of them?
