It kind of was like they were working together. One guy took one wall and the other took another wall. Godfrey of Bouillon wasn't really desperate to rule Jerusalem, that's why he made up his own title "The Defender of the Holy Sepulcher" rather than wear a crown of gold where Christ had worn a crown of thorns.

They wanted to make Raymond king of Jerusalem, but he refused. Godfrey of Bouillon and Raymond of Toulouse were both pretty good men, but a lot of the others were not, such as Hugh of Vermandois and many of the other lower leaders. Bohemond was just plain awesome.

I really hope that's sarcasm! Bohemond was an oathbreaker who joined just to find land for himself and Godfrey certainly made the Kingdom of Jerusalem even if not within his lifetime
lifetime because of the world watching him. Raymond was the best but he was a rather jealous fellow.

I don't think any initially intended to take land but they all ended up trying to despite pledges to Alecost I that they would return his land.

I mostly think Bohemond was awesome because he was a pretty good leader of the crusades and he defeated the Byzantines on multiple occasions. Although, he did break an oath, he was one of the many crusaders who broke their oaths.

Also, I've dropped a PM to Janna. I feel it's necessary to note that here because of how terrible RPG's new private messaging system is.

oohh. Genres would be awesome. Searches too.

I was going to throw a certain NPC at Gudmund, but now I think I might wait until the sepulcher... I'm not really sure. I mean on one hand it gives him something to react to, on the other it's kind of awkward to introduce him there. Then again, I don't really want to have to involve Raymond and what's-his-face with this either. hmmmm.

-It's nothing major, just a little event. So maybe I should just take a stab at it now and see what happens.

Posted! I'm a little short on time, so that's the best I can do right now.

I uh, had specific plans for that Hebrew man, but it doesn't look like they're happening. I have no idea what he's doing anymore. I guess we'll see. Unless somebody stabs him. If you don't want to go with him, you're more than welcome to kill him or push him away or whatever, he's just there so that you have something to react to, really. xD.

The Hebrew man could turn out to be Mordecai's crazed brother? Maybe not...

I would like to bring in a brother of his at some point. Going with the prophet theme, how about Malachi? (pronounced; mal-ack-I) Or maybe Micah? (pronounced; mI-cuh)

Ethnic hebrew. Has little bearing on his actual religion!

But he might be jewish, or he might just be a nutball. I dunno. Haven't gotten around to figuring him out.

It's probably more likely he is Jewish than Pagan. After all, we don't hear much about Pagans being in Jerusalem at the time. We do hear much about the Jews being there(duh).
