I have some experience with Dnd having played some short one shots with friends but Im looking to get more deeply involved,
i can potentially rope in a few extra friends to join the party

Although I should probably mention, currently my inspiration is towards existing fandoms, especially Game of Thrones (with some other fandoms to add flavor). But I can work with other ideas as well.

Did you all start already? Is there room for another player? :)

(I could run The Emerald Enchanter as a 5e game. Though I'd prefer to be a player in someone else's game. :) )

I'm willing to GM, but I've never GMed 5th edition, so would certainly defer to you or anyone else willing to take on the role.

Very familiar with 3.5 and pathfinder, not so
Much with 5e but willing to learn :)
Can GM or co-GM.
Maybe we can do a rotation? Like each have a char and DMing is shared?

Also, we can have a discord channel (I can organize it if you want)

I was envisioning a play by post game. If you're thinking discord, would it be a more 'live' game where everyone has to be online at the same time?

If so, I'll bow out now as I much prefer NOT having a set schedule that I have to be online. (No hurt feelings. :) Just wanted to clarify up front.)

I prefer play by post as well. Not least because i live in a different timezone than most here.

We can use discord for planning and stuff, but actual playing should happen here at the forum.

I'm curious about how this adventure may go, so you have my interest. Played D&D 5e for almost 2 years and don't mind helping with understanding 5e rules. Discord I feel could be helpful with the character creation and planning process during the game. I also have a homebrew world that I've been trying to work on, but have just been too busy with work to put enough time for it.

I'd love to try out my Game of Thrones crossover, but I understand it's not for everyone. I also in general prefer using existing settings over homebrew.

I was thinking of planning the game together at Discord before posting a roleplay. From my experience as a DM I've noticed that it's better to adapt a game to PCs than vice versa.

Or If everyone is already okay with whatever I have planned I can post immediately.

I don't have a discord account and would prefer not to make one. If you guys figure it out there, I'll see how I might fit in. And if not... again, no biggie.
