ᴘʀᴇᴍɪsᴇ:
There are three things that revolves around and that you depend on in your life. No matter how you pretend that it doesn't, you know the truth and the fact that life is just a big game of chance. Money, power, and respect are those aforementioned things and without them in your life, you know that you are nothing and worthless. Some people are born into wealth and acquire respect through the power that they have. Some are born without money but gain power by force along with respect. Others are born with just enough money and just enough respect but they hardly ever gain any power because of their status. Funny how life works that way, right? Although you do everything right, you can still have none of the above.
Those that have money, live in their fancy mansions and drive their fancy cars are called The Haves, who are also very well-known throughout their communities and whatever coast they live on. While the people that are in the category of The Haves, there is just one thing that they do not within their lives or their own homes and that's happiness. One reason that might be is because of the arranged lives most of The Haves live. They are friends with their own families friends, they only marry those who are deemed acceptable or worth enough and they live their lives based on their last names. Most of the people that are deemed The Haves usually come from old money. Not an actor or singer money but the billionaires that sign the millionaire's checks and the people that will hardly ever go bankrupt. These people are the true Have's and aren't too welcoming to others or people that come from new money.
People that do not have money or don't come from old money are known as The Have Nots. Though The Haves refer to these people as new money, which is an offensive terminology. The Haves Nots live around The Haves or near them and even work for The Haves or while others own businesses near The Haves. It's the start of summer and a lot of the household children are coming home. The staff, which consists of maids, butlers, chefs, caretakers and even gardeners are even coming back to their normal lives. The Rothstein's staff stays with them but they must work consistently throughout the whole entire summer. Most of the Rothstein's staff have known the children for their entire lives. While the Stephenson's staff are invited to stay for free but most of the staff are also new to the household.

Note; You do not have to write as a character from these families. You can write as a neighbor, family friend, friend of one of the children, boy or girlfriend or whatever.
The Rothstein's family has lived on their estate for many, many years now. The estate has been passed down from generation to generation to come. Approximately two doors down is an eight-bedroom house where the staff lives. Although, a select few members of the staff stay in the house with the Rothstein's. They are known to be very critical towards their staff. The Rothstein's made their fortune in the music industry. Their father is a songwriter and a CEO of "Rothstein's Records" while their mother is an artist but is currently on a hiatus for the summer. They are one of the richest families on the west coast and all of their neighbors come from old money.
Roxland Rothstien | Forty-five | Alive | CEO of Rothstein Records
Alexedria Rothstein | Forty | Alive | Singer & Songwriter
A few or so miles down the road is the Stephenson's mansion, which they have only been living in for close to a year now. They are the new money on the block because they weren't born into their wealth. The family's patriarch, Johnathan Stephenson, married an international supermodel, who also owns one of the largest fashion companies around and obtained their wealth that way. Johnathan earned his fortune by writing for a fashion magazine and eventually became an owner of the magazine. His son, Johnny, now owns the magazine and their wealth has grown over time. All of their staff live in a six-bedroom house practically next door to them and the Stephenson's treat their staff as if they were family, which frowned upon by old money.
Johnny Stephson | Forty | Alive | Owner of Vogue magazine
Stephanie Kinnellis-Stephson | Thirty-five | Alive | Fashion Model

ᴏᴜᴛ ᴏꜰ ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ:
Hello and welcome to another roleplay production produced by yours truly, Wistful Dreams. First and foremost, this roleplay will be character driven, which ultimately means that however your character interacts with another then that affects the direction of their story and perhaps others. I'd like to also add that there will be mature themes, such as swearing, drugs, alcohol, sexual references and probably some controversial topics. The in-character will start in the second week of summer and at an all-white party hosted by the Rothstein's, in which everyone is invited. Well, almost everyone.
ʀᴜʟᴇs:
• Please abide by RPG rules. No God-modding, metagaming or auto-hitting, please. Also, fade to black or take it to PM's if you and the other writer wish to do so. Heavy kissing is a-okay.
• Respect your fellow roleplayers, please. We're all here to have fun. Don't be a dick or asshole
• There will be mature themes discussed in the roleplay but provide trigger warnings, if necessary. This roleplay is not about race at all and do not make it into that.
• This roleplay will be high casual, so your posts must reflect that writing style. Not asking for novella style posts but at least two and a half paragraphs of non-dialogue. Collabs are encouraged.
• I'd like a certain pace to be kept here. Not asking for a post every day but at least once or twice a week should suffice.
• There will be a Discord and the character sheet is posted in the character tab.
