Indeed, all topics are fair game. On the topic of roleplays people haven't tried/seen, that is. I'd be curious then, what were the premises of these roleplays? Und thout shalt not DARE sayest "Academia" (only teasing of course).

Hmm, I definitely can't say I haven't seen those concepts around... still: points where points are due, haven't seen a jazz band version of that story.

Like I said, I can't say I haven't seen it before. One example was a biopunk RP that had rapidly evolving/mutating animal people as a whole faction. Granted that was not on this site so you could say I'm a pedantic arse. Don't feel like I'm pissing on your parade though, that's still a neat concept that not many would tackle.

Needless to say, there's a disconnect behind the tone I'm looking for in that game and the kind of tone you prefer, based on your profile summary, so I wager you wouldn't be interested anyway.

I stumble into the tavern, blistering from manticore venom coursing through my viens. I throw gold everywhere, pull my dagger from my sheathe and shout, "Some tavern wench, suck out the vemon!" as I prepare slit open a lash gash near the sting wound.
