Basically all I'm going here with is, I struggle with the routine posting deal. For roleplaying. Kind of just putting that out there. Any advice would be much appreciated.

At a certain point you have to set a personal deadline for yourself if you can't hold yourself to being reliable in a capacity that lends to good group RP.

If you have a calendar app of some kind (which you probably do on your phone), you could always set a reminder to make sure you have a post by X day, such as Friday/the end of the weekend.

Give yourself permission for your post to just be OK. Not every post needs to be a masterpiece.

Something I find that helps me is being very piecemeal! You don't have to write the epic of gilgamesh overnight, you can just do a paragraph or some other bite size at a time :>

I do something similar to bugman! I try to get a post written out in a separate place like Word or Docs. I try to force the whole post out even if it is bad. Then, I let it ruminate for a a few hours or a day before returning to it and editing it down to something I am more happy to post.

The big thing that I think gets people to post regularly is just getting into a good headspace for it. The right music, a snack and a drink, making sure you're mentally ready and not exhausted. No distractions, just you and the writing. It doesn't always work, but hey! The whims of writer's block is truly an enigma sometimes!
