I was surprised by the arrival of family for the weekend. I won't be able to write during the daytime like normal. I will try to write now (1035pm my time) and first thing in the morning (likely 7 hours from now), but other than that I will be out of commission for tomorrow until, again, night time and morning.

So, regarding Penny and Tyrelle, if the latter wants to walk off with a pretty girl -- and his father will allow it, of course -- feel free to write that Penny heads down the beach with him. If he speaks to her first, I'll respond with some dialogue; if he doesn't speak first -- if he's shy -- Penny will ask him where he's from, how he ended up here, how old he is, and other typical questions, questions that you can feel free to include in your post with my go ahead if you want. (I just thought that telling you this up front might speed the dialogue between them.)

"God moding" is often a sensitive topic, of course. So I like to let my writing partners know what they can have my characters do and say up front so they know what they can do without "violating" that issue. Does that make sense?

Personally, I've never been one to touch another character at all, even when permitted to push them in one direction or another. It's just not how I write ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I prefer to just write for my own characters and let others respond accordingly, if that makes sense

I can edit in a time jump to Tyrelle and Penny on the beach if you'd like, but otherwise, I'm more comfortable with letting the scenes flow naturally. I think where I left off leaves it open for a scene change, at the very least, and that would allow them to fall in to conversation with Penny asking all the questions since Ty sucks at small talk and is fully aware of that fact, thus avoids trying to ask questions for fear that he'll ask something someone finds offensive

Maybe in the meantime we can discuss some thoughts and ideas about characters and story and all 🤔

With Jae-Seong's direction with the docu and wanting to interview people throughout their time on the island, it could be fun to write little "diaries" of characters talking about stuff going on and answering "off-screen" questions from Jae, kinda like Big Brother and other reality shows where the people talk to the camera about how they felt during a recent happening or how they think things will turn out in future engagements

Do you have any idea as to whom would partner up with whom down the line? Romantically I mean.

I'm assuming that @ItIsJustMe is intending Penny to be a match for Tyrelle, and I like the direction of that; as for anyone else, I haven't the foggiest. I intend for Kelly to end up with a male partner if possible, and then everyone else I have is more or less not up for a relationship-- except for Jae-Seong, but I don't see anyone getting along with him in order to be a healthy partner

Annelise would probably go for James or Peter going by his looks alone. But yes I sensed Penny and Tyrelle were going to be a match like right away.

I feel bad thinking that Annaliese would be stuck with James or Peter, neither are good matches. Great for drama, sure! But everyone deserves a good relationship in the end, no? If I had any ideas for additional characters, I might make another guy, but my mind is blank right now

I can see her being with Peter being rather intriguing though with his set up, and it'd be amusing too with Autumn bumping into the picture constantly through her curiosity since she becomes obsessed with seeing what the hell he's doing

Oh I'm doing it purely for the drama. But who knows, maybe people change? Or if you have a character in the future we can hook them up.
