Sorry, guys. I kind of assumed this was dead, since there was no activity for a long time I and forgot the fact that the site doesn't send you notifications anymore...
Anyhow, it seems as if we have lost Ontos and Instantes (otherwise, shout out!) since our collab has been left unfinished.
But if everyone is game to continue with fewer people, we can do that! :)

I'm very much game. I refuse to let any roleplay die without me fighting till my last breathe and the tears have dried on my checks! I'm so sorry Thistle that my own collab took so long, computer problems and health do not mix well.
And if it helps at all, I'm happy to play any characters needed - I actually prefer playing multiplies. I'll see if I can gain a few new players though I don't have high hopes.

Okay, great! :) And that's completely fine. So unless Ontos or Instantes show up, we'll write them out and if anyone feels like playing multiple characters that's great.

Okay, guys, here's the game plan: I will write out Ontos and Instantes in a way that allows them to come back if they return and end that with a transition into a collab with Sicarius. Then I think we should get the action going and be on our way. :)

Yep, Sicarius and I are progressing in our collab. :) It shouldn't be too long before we post it. But a couple of questions:
1) Does anyone want to play a second character? In that case, I have a suggestions: someone the Emperor sends with the group to protect Elya. But other ideas are great, too.
2) My idea was that we skip directly to leaving for Alcea. That means we skip the IC discussion of our plans. Is that okay with everyone? In that case we should do it OOC. Like what we should be travelling as, which routes etc.

I'd be okay with that, but since I wouldn't have any part in the discussions, my vote probably shouldn't count for much. I also don't think I should take a second character at this time, but I might insert one in later if there's ever some particular role needed that's still unfilled.
Ah, sorry Sillycabin I experienced a migraine for a few days so the collab took a slight hiatus due to that. Sorry to Thistle as well. As for routes, Yanhua would suggest the route less taken, even if it takes longer she'd advice going as incognito as possible so word couldn't be sent to Alcea as quickly. She's also ask for Sir Stefan to come with them, unless he already is.
Also, question, how is Nemaisare going to hitchhike with us since... yeah. I haven't seen a way our canine friend is joining yet.

Ahh I'm sorry to hear that, as a fellow sufferer I can empathise!
Rayf has a mental log of a few friends of the Resistance scattered throughout Alcea and a few people who owe him favours, he'd probably suggest sticking to country roads and calling in some of those favours if they need a place to recuperate. He'd also tentatively suggest some detours through forests and the like, but it takes a lot of chutzpa to suggest a monarch should live rough for a few days.
I'd also be willing to play a second character, maybe a mid-ranking knight in the Emperor's court? I can do a CS promptly if you'd like.

Lacchi's tagging along as a gift from the emperor to his honoured guest's son, since the boy seems to like the dog, also, as secondary protection for the whole party, since it's always good to have a guard along that has better senses than you do. :P
Ah okay, that helps. Nemaisare, been wondering since what makes Lacchi a dog is just a magic curse, curious if perhaps Yanhua or Rayf could detect it or sense something's "off" about him.

Silly Cybin: That would be great, since the emperor would probably want to contribute as much as possible. Elya's son on the throne is relevant to his interests. :) So he'd offer both Lacchi and a knight.
As for their travelling arrangements: Sir Stefan comes along, they'll take some less trvalled roads and do it incognito. Maybe as cloth merchants (so I like clichés....) In that case I will, after Sicarius's and my collab is posted, write a post bringing everything up to the leaving point.

Hmm, that's a good question... I'd say if they focused on him and expected to pick up any magic, they'd possibly get a small response. But it's pretty inert except when he shifts, so the magic would be stronger an hour before and after the shifts probably. Then they'd almost certainly pick up something strange, even if they can't pinpoint it. If they know how to identify spells they'd probably be able to tell what it was, or close to, since it's a little skewed. But if they don't, it might seem a little more like he's picked up/brushed against/ate/whatever magic than that it's coming from him.
