Hey there RP Guild populace, I'm here hoping to expand my imaginative and literary abilities as I assume is the reason for most. I enjoy most any genre though I'm not very experienced in some of them. I prefer RPs that have elements that our current reality lacks, or at least cannot be possible with our current understanding of reality if that makes sense. I can do pure real life, drama RPs but I could not dedicate as much interest as others. Anyways, heard great things about this site and hope it lives up to it.

RPing, to me, is always about escapism. There's no point to a roleplay that's just set in real life, with real world situations, real drama and real-like people. That, to me, sounds like a soap opera or one of those Nicholas Sparks books. In other words, not worth my time.

Well I wholeheartedly agree with your thoughts on role play types. No fun playing something you could just go outside and do anyway, I always say. Welcome to the realm, pal. Be sure and have yourself a good ol' time up in here, wontcha?

Yeah thanks for the warm welcomes, and glad you all agree on the genres. Let me know if you have any RP suggestions. I'm new to the site but I have a few Fantasy and scifi RPs under my belt and only actually created one fantasy/supernatural RPs. Though it would probably rank here as medium casual.

You can check out the RPG News (RPGN) that's posted in the news board. They always feature new and stable RPs in various genres.

Otherwise, look at the Interest Checks to see what suits your fancy. There are plenty of fantasy/supernatural RPs out there, and a smattering of sci-fi ones, it all depends on what specifics you're interested in.
