I'm looking to start a Pathfinder game either through play by post or roll20, possibly a combination of both. Class, alignment and race are fairly open (with a few exceptions), the general theme is to be determined as interest grows. Looking for at minimum a group of four and a maximum of eight, I will also have various npcs to guide and aid the party. If you have any questions feel free to ask them.

I'm possibly interested. I just want to know some of the exceptions. (I say possibly because while I don't MIND Roll20, I'd prefer not to use it. Consider me in, though).

The main racial restrictions will be drow, wayangs, vishkanya, strix, the races that most common folk would consider inherently evil or regard as boogeymen. That being said, I would allow said races if a good enough reason for why they would be where the party will start. All classes (and archetypes) are open. If one more person shows interest then I will start posting more detailed information

In regards to using roll20, I will probably just use it as a combat tool, most of the game will be here. I have also thought about using skype for combat as well, I have no problem either way. If you have a character concept feel free to post it or pm me.

As a note I will probably place a npc/pc with the party so I can participate in more then a GM standpoint. Also it gives us a three person party at the present time

Color me interested. Would Changeling be okay? James Jacobs (the creative director of the game) said the average person wouldn't be able to spot one and my character doesn't know exactly what she is other than non-human.

I want a changeling in this, if I have a say. ^~^ Was considering one myself, but there are now two other, non-changeling options. Well...more likely just one, because the other's friggin weird, admittedly. ^~^

Edit: Apparently, weird works. ^~^ Keeping secrets until OOC, though. ^~^ Intelligent Fighter (with some...quirks...) and a somewhat urban-archetyped rogue (with a completely different variety of quirks).

I have no problems with changelings due to the fact that they are very close looking to humans (until someone is right up on them.) Ermine has already shown me what is to be unveiled, so if you want to pm me your character concept Larkos then go ahead, as stated all classes are open.

I pmed you the concept and lvl1 character sheet. Note about changelings, it's apparently a DC 11 Kn(local) check to notice a changeling isn't human.

In the interest of helping others decide party balance, the character is a witch.

Alright for those of you who have been craving more information on the campaign setting and campaign information here it is, I will be running a Curse of the Crimson Throne adventure path (with a few twists and turns). This is a campaign that deals with some darker issues (organized crime, prostitution, drug addiction, child slavery, things of that like), I will post a link for the campaign traits which you will pick one of. Now I'm a GM and a player that likes to add a little fluff to my campaign traits, not saying you get any bonuses for picking certain traits, but make the description your own.

For example when I ran this campaign with a few of my friends I played a set of aasimar (muse touched) twins, both took one of the Unhappy Childhood traits, my male character (Se'ra) was sold to the crimelord to settle his father's gambling debt, he refused to become one of the crimelord's pickpockets and was tortured mercilessly until he escaped. The general description of the trait was still there but compounded on why he was being tortured. His sister however took the religious trait, I decided to tie her to the crimelord in a different way, after Se'ra was sold to the crimelord his and (Le'ra's) father began to beat her in a attempt to "Cleanse the strangeness" from her, she wasn't directly connected to the crimelord but the actions of her father selling her brother was connection enough.

In regards to character generation we will be doing a 20-point build, you will also pick two traits besides your campaign trait, you do not have to pick drawbacks, this is my GM gift to you. Also be advised I admire creativity, great ideas and a few other traits, this may earn you a small reward if not only I think it is worthy of said reward but others do as well. This reward will be in many forms, possibly stumbling upon a couple hundred gold, earning NPC respect, and a few other things. If you feel I have forgotten anything don't be afraid to ask, also if you need help ask, as a GM it is my job to not only enjoy running the game, but guide you and ensure you have fun. So lets all work together to make this a fun and exciting time for all.

Sounds awesome and thanks for the extra traits. What's the starting level?

Characters should be first level, just realized I didn't clarify that.

I've spent seventeen hours today as a petty functionary with a clipboard, so...my brain's not working so much. I might pick the traits, but I'll worry about customization tomorrow...or...something. >.>

Note: I probably won't remember saying this next time I check.
