"Oh, no. She doesn't attack unless told. Or protecting me." She walked towards Leo and held out her arm so the dragon could perch on it for him to get a closer look. As the sunlight shined off the surface of the water the dragon turned a sapphire color. "She can help you carry the stag if you want." Crim smiled as the dragon flew over to Leo and lingered in the air in from of him.

Leo reached out a hand and stroked the dragons head. "Does she have a name?" he asked, offering the stags neck to the dragon to relieve him of some of the weight.

"Seralth." Crim answer and nodded to the dragon to help. Picking up the neck of the stag with her talon like claws, Seralth cooed and head-butted Leo's hand. "Haha, she likes you." Crim laughed a little. "So, to your camp?"

"To the camp." Leo headed upriver. They walked along the riverbank for about 35 minutes before entering the woods and walking to a clearing where there was a sea of tents. The neighing of horses, voices of soldiers, clang of the quartermaster's hammer filled the air. soldiers in golden cloaks, carrying swords and spears milled about. Some of them, noticing Leo and Crim carrying deer, started cheering and patting them on the back. Leo turned and looked at Crim. "Welcome to my humble abode Milady." he said, laughing.

All of the commotion made Crim and Seralth a bit nervous. Seralth tried to hide behind Leo, still carried the stag, as they walked. "Large camp you guy have, one would almost say a village beginning to form." She looked around mesmerized by the soldiers. She didn't know what to think of it. "Where are we taking the deer?" Crim asked as she quickened her pace to walk beside Leo.

Alexander looked at a map of Verdus standing next to their leader. He was getting orders for their next battle. Alexander looked up to see Leo, a soldier he'd battled with before. He then gazed at the elf girl, an odd visitor of a military camp.

"We'll drop the stag off with the cook and take yours back to my tent." Leo headed towards the big bonfire in the center of camp and left the stag with a fat, bearded man covered in grease and sweat. The cook gave him four gold coins for the kill, which wasnt much but it was more than Leo had when he arrived. He then steered Crim and Seralth towards his tent. It was a medium sized tent, big enough for three people to stand in comfortably. He took Crim's deer and laid it on a skinning table. He removed his heavy coat and rolled up the sleeves of his tunic before beginning to skin the deer. "So Crim, any questions you feel like asking?" he asked, flashing a grin in her direction.

Alexander left the leader and walked to Leo, greeting him like Goldenblades did; placing a closed fist on the center of the chest, pounding it twice. After this he spoke. "Scout Leo, pleasure to see you alive and well." Alexander said with his deep, rough voice. He then focused on the young lady, looking her up and down. "And whom may this be, my friend?" Alexander added, placing his hands on his hips. He kept his stare on her, a small smile on his face.

Seralth quickly flew to Crim's shoulder for safety. The dragon was nervous and began to whine a little. "Easy girl, easy. We're safe. They aren't going to hurt you." Crim assured, taking the dragon in her arms and holding her close to her chest. "I'm Crim, sir." She answered, not knowing what exactly to say. All of this was different for her. Crim was used to people wearing cloaks and chanting spells, not soldiers.
Turning her head to look back at Leo she shook her head. "None at the moment. Still trying to take everything in."

Leo preformed the Goldenblade greeting. "Hail Alexander. This is Crim. We met in the woods while hunting and i offered to cook her kill for her. Care to join?"

Alexander shook his head. "Unfortunately I can't. I have to leave for Duplil soon. Word out there is that the Ironbanes have a secret caravan of goods coming through. Captain Valder wants me to ambush it before it arrives the Duplil and before bandits get to it. Alexander said. He pointed to the leader. "Check to see what task you're assigned to when you're free. You may have to come with me later. Alexander added. He then looked to Crim. "Nice to meet you, m'lady." Alexander said with a smile, bowing respectfully to her.

Leo nodded to Alexander and bid him farewell. He finished skinning the deer and set it over the fire to let it cook. "After we eat, i should go check in with Valder. You're welcome to accompany me." he said to Crim, throwing spices on the roasting meat.

Crim blushed a little at the gesture. "Nice to meet you," she replied. "Leo if you have to go, I can cook the deer." she looked down at the dragon as it looked back up at her. "I wouldn't want you to be late." she smiled.
Before she could say anything else the dragon hopped out of her arms and took a piece of the deer meat while it was still raw.

"And what if we're never to meet again?" Leo asked.

"Well, Im always near Onxyia. Maybe we'll stumble upon each other during another hunt. This time ill try not to steal your kill." she laughed a little and sat on the ground with her dragon. "Im not exactly part of your group so when the food is done and we have eaten, ill take enough for me and Seralth and go on my way. Wouldn't want to interfere in soldier duty."

Leo nodded. "Well before i go, i think i have something that you might like." he went into his tent and returned with a sheathed dagger. It had a bone handle with golden filigree inlaid into it. The guard was golden and the pommel was set with jewels. "This was forged in Etrya. It was my mother's before she died. Carry it with you and you'll carry home." He handed her the fine blade. "Farewell my lady." he smiled at her. "And farewell to you, Seralth." he scratched the dragon under the chin before bowing and walking towards the Captain's tent.

"Wait Leo," Crim called standing up and holding the dagger. "Are you sure? It was your mother's, you should keep it." she tired to hand it back, holding it out to him. "Also, would it be okay if I saw you off if you do leave? Seralth likes you and wouldn't want her to not see off a new friend." Crim blushed as she asked but then smiled.

Leo smiled widely. "Meet me at the river, everyday at noon. That way i can keep Seralth informed as to whether i'm leaving or not." he winked, "And i'm positive about the dagger. Keep it with you at all times and you'll never be away from Etrya again."

Crim smiled back and again blushed a little. She nodded and held the dagger in her hand as she looked at it. It was beautiful for sure. "Alright. And thank you." Crim placed it on her hip next to one of her own knives and went back to the deer.

Leo smiled all the way to the captains tent. He walked in and preformed the Goldenblade greeting, "Captain. Leollys von Andriall, reporting for assignment."
