African Savannah Survival RP

I think this would be an amazing idea. Survival role play has a lot of potential, and I have yet to see too much of it. As such, please sign me up.

Also, will it specifically be the African wilderness? I see a lot of possible areas besides Africa, but that's totally up to you.

Well, I always find some of the most interesting places to also be the most extreme places. At one end of the spectrum we have heat-extreme places, such as Africa, or the Sahara, and on the other, inhospitably cold places, like Siberia, or the Tibetan mountain range.

I'd easily go for Africa, as you will it, though I would like to vouch for a cold environment, as that would mean a more immediate need to find heat, as well as make finding food and shelter all the more difficult.

@Azkott That idea reminds me of Liam Neeson's movie, The Grey. I like it, though! I like Siberia, but Tibet sounds even more intriguing! ^^

Yea, I love Tibet too. There's alot of mysticism and allure to the country, besides its powerful, cloud-straddling mountain peaks. I can imagine survival there would be difficult and dangerous, probably more so because you'd add a degree of verticality to it.

I am quite interested!

Desert works quite well but if you want to add some element of creepiness and lurking danger then any rainforest would work. Maybe on the mountains of India?

And with Tibet you can always allude to myths and creepy legends just to spoop some kids

Basically, this character has been raised by the wilderness that your characters will crash into and all.

When it comes to Survival RPs I have a fondness for Forest settings, but I guess finding heat or cold is important too.

Well, @Crow we've kinda abandoned the African Savannah scenery and gone for the Tibetan Wilderness. There's a separate thread, called Trouble in Paradise. :)
