[IC] My Hero Academia - Heroes and Zeroes

Nuime would regard everyone present with even stares upon finishing her bow, passively tugging down her her hood under the attention she was getting. Still, it seemed the presence of other people had shaken her out of her almost anti-social shell, or at least enough to the point where she didn't just slink away awkwardly. Though perhaps the opportunity of learning about her chosen occupation by observing talented heroes 'Duke it out', as they say. "Does 'Civilians' count for heroes of other agencies as well?" The patchwork person asked, curiosity and confusion evident in her tone as she glanced back at Cassie and Roland.

"...I suppose I shall see you, then. It was nice seeing you again, Cassie-senpai, Roland-sama." A brief nod towards the pair was given instead of her typical bow, likely due to the short duration from the last one. "Please enjoy your day... And. Please assure Watamote-sama not to worry about me 'Slacking' if he asks." With that, she turned back to Dimitri, waiting for his response on how they would go about this.

Cassie grumbled and rubbed her face as she looked down at Patchwork with a bit of disdain. "You're not a part of an agency anymore remember Nuime?" Cassie said leaning down with an irritated look on her face as she looked Nuime in the eyes. "And even if you were still a part of The Protector's Initiative anymore you shouldn't go around telling other people your identity." Roland continued for Cassie as Roland's eyes returned to their more cold real cold nature as he turned around and started walking away. Cassie however stood still as she grumbled quietly to Nuime, "Come on cupcake REALLY?! We told them we weren't from another agency!" Cassie told her as she stood up and smiled at Alloy and Jack while Jack looked over at Nuime with a raised eyebrow. "YOU were a member of the protector's initiative? That seems hard to believe."

"Yeesh, just gonna back the bus right over me aintcha?" Dimitri quipped to Jack after having heard the Hero's plans to allow him to take the blame in its entirety should things go amiss. Returning his attention once more to the trio Dimitri found himself surprised to have his initial suspicions about the american "tourists" more or less confirmed by Nuime. He would have quickly jumped at the chance to poke fun at Cassie's outburst from his initial accusation were it not for Roland's mentioning of Nuime being a part of The Protector's initiative. Suffice it to say, Dimitri was thrown for a bit of a loop as he looked to the shy and unassuming woman.

"Well i'll be damned!" He said with a genuine sense of amazement in his tone. He was having a hard time trying to picture her throwing in with an agency that was, in all honestly, pretty cut throat at times when it came to how they conducted their affairs. This new bit of information did little to affect his previous decision about allowing her to sit in, it unfortunately meant he'd probably actually have to put in effort to avoid looking like a dunce in his spar, but that was about it.

"Too be more precise I'm going to run you over with the bus, and then back it up and do it again. Why should I take the blame for bringing some ex-hero into the HQ?" Jack said casually as he looked back to Cassie who looked back at him with distrustful eyes. "Yeah I know she doesn't look like Initiative material truth be told she wasn't OFFICIALLY in the initiative just that her parents were in it and she was a lower ranking member. Nothing special kind of a 'honorary member thing'." Cassie said with a unsteady chuckle as she scratched the back of her head. At this point Roland had already walked off without her leaving her alone to make sure Nuime accidentally didn't say anything. "That's how me and Roland know her actually her parents were friends of ours. We all met at a paintball court it was a really fun time. But I'm sure big shot heroes like you two don't want to know about our whole boring backstory so yeah why don't you guys just take her and go back inside now. It's pretty hot in here so maybe the heat is getting to her brain hahahah..." Cassie chuckled trying to hide her nervousness.

A lot of things were getting to her head alright, not just the heat as she silently regarded the people around her. The initial assumption she'd made was that she'd managed to say something wrong, which tended to be the norm when she hadn't properly thought out her responses. But no less did it leave her with a light sense of shame that she'd actually done something wrong as Cassie and Roland began to... Lie? Why would they? Behind her hood, her expression was nearly unreadable, with only faint traces of uncertainty to give away at the odd ruse. But then, her uncertainty could have been for anything, could it not?

"...Apologies, it was not my intention to give away precious information. The reasoning eluded me. Forgive me. It... Will not happen again." Her response neither confirmed nor denied her involvement, instead acting as a simply apology. Nuime's eyes wandered back to Dimitri only briefly, unable to actually settle on the man again. The floor seemed oh so much more appealing for some reason. "I pray your recent discovery does not alter your perceptions of me, Mori-san. I... Apologize if this complicates matters."

"It isn't precious information but you shouldn't just be telling everyone that you are a hero and you shouldn't be so willing to trust others like that it's for your own well being Nuime. Anyway I got to go catch up to Roland before something bad happens. I'll see you all later I guess." Cassie said quickly as she went to chase her cohort off in the distance shouting at him to wait up for a half a second. Jack meanwhile looked at Nuime with a raised eyebrow. "Oi it ain't a problem. I guess they're really just protective. Again not my problem if it becomes complicated. Though I do fully say in front of the jury at hand that I will throw my good friend here under the bus if something bad happens. I'm just the glorified door man right now. After all what numb nuts wants to go and fight out in this heatwave?" grumbled Jack as he scratched his ear. He waited idly for an answer from his friend Alloy before anything else went forward. "Well you takin' the little girl inside or are you just going to stand there with your finger up your butt? Come on i'm BAKING here!"

Dimitri gave a soft snort and shrugged at Nuime, "No need to sweat it, I don't see any issue not to let you inside, just means I gotta actually put some real effort into this sparring session. It also means i'll just have to make extra certain you don't break anything now. If the others found out I let someone that was from another agency break something then the older heroes would have my ass on a platter and my arms on a mount!" he said in a surprisingly upbeat manner. With Cassie's farewell and departure and Jack's insistence on heading inside, Dimitri turned to open the door once more, relishing in the cool blast of the air conditioning unit before stepping a bit to the side with a bit of flourish and an exaggerated half bow to allow the others entry. "Ladies first~" He said with a shiteating grin as he looked to Jack of Spades.

"Yeah I know right?" Jack of Clubs said as he grabbed Dmitri's shirt and pushed him forcibly back into the building first before entering the building afterward. "Alright kiddos well you have fun you hear?" Jack said with a snicker as he sat back down at his desk humming to himself. As the two went off doing their own things the guards paid little attention to them mostly due too the presence of Alloy who was a known hero and figured the receptionist already cleared them. Most of the building was rather quiet and subdued and many of the people simply paid little mind too the two new heroes. However before they could get anywhere they happened to run into one of the hero sidekicks named Zero, a very much bland name, who worked for one of the small time heroes in JS. Zero was on his way to the bathroom when he made contact with Alloy and when he found out that he was showing a visitor around he offered to take them to the fight room where the majority of heroes were currently and when the girl didn't respond quick enough he quickly took them there regardless of what Alloy said insisting that the rest of the place was boring. As they got there they saw a fight going on between Cyber Stein, a technology based hero with the ability to make digital constructs into physical beings and objects, and Quickshot who had uncanny accuracy with his two pistols. Quickshot was running around the large sealed cage they were fighting in and dodging attacks from orcs whom were wielding massive axes. Cyber was a huge nerd and tended to make monsters out of his digital abilities. He manifested these abilities typically through a handle held game system and tapping into his ability to make what he saw on screen physical. Though he could use the abilities without the system he wasn't very creative. In return Quickshot was jumping around shooting enemies in the head. His quirk may not seem like a lot but super quick reaction times allowed him to turn many situations around. He took no hits from the enemies and almost seemed to be playing around as he smacked around some of the enemies. In return Cyber was also unscathed thanks to a digital shield protecting him. It seemed Stein's plan was to outlast Quickshot while Quickshot looked for a way around Cyber's onslaught.

Dimitri gave a low whistle as he watched his comrades duke it out. It was always entertaining to see his comrades in action, especially when said action didn't run the risk of citywide destruction and mayhem. Every now and then he would glance over to Nuime or scan the gathered crown to ensure no one was giving his guest odd looks, but beyond that he did little more than cheer alongside his companions and occasionally turn his head to make small talk with whomever was nearby. "Wonder who they'll put me up against this time..." Alloy mused aloud as he eyes the collapsible table near one of the weight machines. The hero behind it was hard at work sorting out the cash, as well as scribbling down notes to help keep track. Dimitri's eyes then flitted over to the dry erase board that had been brought in to show the brackets indicating who was going to fight who. Near the bottom was his name, and next to it lie an empty bracket that indicated that no one had offered to get into the ring with him yet. "Here's hoping I get someone that isn't *too* good right off the bat, I really want a crack at that deadpool." He thought as a slim smirk appeared on his face.
