A dragon being a perfect fit for the hotheaded, stubborn prided street kid.
The size of Kilgarrah varies, in a casual setting he may simply be the size of a small dog, or take the size of a massive beast in an instant. His exact form varies as well though it is always consistent with the generally shape of some sort of dragon. For example in one moment he may be an Asian styled serpentine dragon, while in other moment he may become more like a wyvern, and in the next becoming a typical western styled dragon.
However regardless of his exact form Kilgarrah Will keep the general appearance as seen in the photo, mainly how the head, neck, and wings are. He is typically in a form of an almost shadowy silhouette mass however his manifestation forms are white, ghost like forms with more detail on the texture of whatever the manifestation is, such as scales and there design. The manifestations are solid but also transparent and ghastly.
Personality: Jackal is a hot headed kid with a lot of energy and a rebellious attitude. He tends to be pretty slick and cocky but has a short temper, especially when someone pokes a whole in his ego. He has a unique attachment to his shade, viewing it more as a companion then a tool or demon. He looks down on others who dont show the same value to their shades.

Heatproof
Kilgarrah can essentially absorb or channel heat away from his host, as if the host himself was fire proof. This method works even if the host is doused in molten iron.
Fire Spawn
Kilgarrah can create flames within his shade range, around the host, or shoot projectiles of fire such as fire breathe and fireballs. With use of manifestation fire breathing can become much more effective. However, the flames take a great deal if effort to produce from both the shade and the host, overuse of it can lead to exhaustion.
Manifestation evoking
Kilgarrah can vanish and recreate himself as enlarged body portions of his original form in a ghastly and transparent form. For example, a giant tail or claw. Doing this can be used to swing or hit things with great force though the manifestation wont last longer then a few seconds. He can also be used alternatively as a shield by either blocking with an arm or making serpentine manifestations around the host. Manifestations can only be used by using the host as an epicenter or source for it, essentially making Jackal vulnerable unless it is a defensive technique. However kilgarrah can not be in his normal firm while manifesting this ability, and cannot perform more then one manifestation at a time.
Personal Skills:
Athletic: Being well fit he can run fairly fast with plenty of endurance.
Pain tolerance: With frequent accidents or street fights occurring in his past, Jackal can definitely take a beating and not say "uncle".
Hardcore parkour:
His fair share of running from trouble across city obstacles has given him a nice talent of maneuvering through dangerous leaps and structures.
Street fighter:
With both the effects of his shade and his own physical finesse Jackal has a balanced blend of offensive and defensive capabilities, filling either role exceptionally well at any moment which certainly makes him a tough opponent. His past experiences in fighting other juvenile delinquents in the street strengthens this trait.
Intimidation:
Being raised on the streets and having a dragon for a shade Jackal knows definitely how to strike fear into most of your typical street thugs.
Creative:
To survive in the city against thugs and punks without any weapons all by yourself. Your mind tends to train itself more creative or unconventional methods to get out of a bad situation or turn a fight to your favor. This creativity will especially shine in combat whether it being a unique use of his shade's ability or the surrounding environment, or both.

Jackal is too prideful to let himself stay out of a fight between two shades, and he believes that kilgarrah shouldn't be burdened with all the work. As a result and his experience as a street fighter Jackal's typical strategy involves him getting dangerously up close and personal to his opponents, though he will also mix it up In between rushing an opponent to blast his targets with fire or use his shade to deal with an enemy's shade so he can deal with the enemy himself. While him and his shade practically fight in unison, this puts him at a far greater risk then the typical shade user.
Season moody
hates cold weather and doesn't like going out of its below room temperature outside. He also tends to shift from a rather active individual into a moody and inactive kid when the weather is cold and/or miserable.
Pride
He has a large ego that suits his tend-to-be cocky nature. Arguably his biggest weakness since this is the cause for poor decision making in many different situations, overestimating himself and his shade, or underestimating others or a challenge at hand.
Stubborn
If he gets an idea he will most likely stick with it too the end, even if the odds are stacked against it. He also hates having to give up or listen to others' advice
