Yes. This is exactly why the developers will continue making Pokemon games. For the eeveelutions.
It's also why they've dragged it out so long. After it's complete, they'll all expire with their one meaning in life.

ONCE THE EEVEELUTIONS ARE COMPLETELY NO ONE CAN STOP POKEMON.....From dieing like a old person who has been sick for weeks, and is on there deathbed.
