He left his safe location and flew to retrieve the hooligan.

Just Sideways quipped back a large Red, orange and white figure came from nowhere and retrieved Sideways.

"Thanks for not being able to keep your mouth shut trans tech!" Jhiaxus bragged as he returned into nothingness.

He could only hope nothing would disrupt this cyclopean terrors buried on the Red planet. He had to confer with Chronarchitect to ask for advice on this coming threat.

"I wanted to fucking leave this place already"

Blackrock was waiting for him at the landing strip.

"Mr Right was it? I was told you are supposed to be a military Observer correct?"

"Excellent I'm still attempting to recruit I would hope the good Dr would lend me support on my venture."

"I wouldn't bet on it. The Getter lab types aren't all that friendly to Feddys nowadays."

"I do say gentlemen, these Cybertronian Alliance chaps are giving us exactly what we want" Chumley said on his screen

"Indeed Chumley, we had hoped to wait until the Aliens had begun their attacks to disband the Federation to rebuild it in our own image but this is an opportunity too good to pass." Shawn Berger, Jr. said

"Yes, this has accelerated our plans monumentally, Autobot supporters such as the EDC and that pampered Oil Tycoon G.B. Blackrock will suffer the most under these threats, it would be a shame if more actions of sabotage were occur wouldn't they?" Iron Klaw said brandishing his trademark claws menacingly

"Fanning the flames are we? I can't wait to see awkward Ultra Magnus will look trying to do damage control while his fearless leader is off in another solar system." Arkeville said

"I also have good news gentlemen, my dummy corporation has discovered ancient ruins belonging to a lost civilization. It would also be perfect to bait survivors in as most of my employees at the site are ignorant of it's true purpose." Krieger announced

"I'm more interested in the artifacts Blitz, what are they capable of?" Arkeville asked
"Apparently the ruins run on some kind of unknown power source, Alien tech undoubtedly. It would take years to understand in the hands of any more 'official' group, fortunately the Concurrence no such organization" Krieger said while smirking confidently

"What about the employees won't they notice your plan to kill off the survivors of the immanent attacks?" Berger asked

"You say that like I need their services any longer, once I find the power source everyone on site will be expendable assets. All the while I could use this attack to draw sympathy to my Dummy Corp."

"A fitting solution for a man who sold out his own unit for a perceived long term benefit." Berger said

" A blasted shame dear boy, good help is hard to come by I say." Chumley commented

"I will do what is necessary to keep the I.R.O.N Amy's activities on Mars from reaching Earth at all costs! My base will not be compromised."

Bronze Wrists Enterprises excavation site at the North Pole

Nathan Weaver was totally at unease, he was sent in as a deep cover EDC operative tasked by Dashiell Faireborn of GI Joe fame to infiltrate a possible Dummy corporation for the Concurrence. The employees of the facility were totally ignorant of the bases possible hidden motives and he was left with nothing incriminating enough to stick to Bronze.

However the artifact they were excavating was a very real and present danger, even if the Concurrence doesn't run this place there are plenty of other organizations like Amalgam or Cobra willing to sink their teeth into Alien artifacts be it for profit or power.

To compromise matters further, the corporation sent invitations to the families of the employees and gave them free tickets to mars. Including his own.

This seemed to be especially reckless when reports of Alien attacks are intensifying on earth, Nathan could only hope his family wasn't on the shuttle which had just landed.

It was as if the heads were waiting for an incident, if it came to the worst Weaver would do whatever it took to get these innocents out alive. Even at the cost of his own life

In cooperation with the EDC and the newly formed Xcom Organization they have created a joint search and rescue/exploration taskforce called Hue for intersteller travel. The EDC sent a single ship composed of The American Captain Conrad "Ebony" Leifshitz alongside Captain Paul "Crimson" Melcamp to extract their beleaguered agent and the soon to be hostages.

"You really think the Concurrence has some kind of alien artifact on this rock?" Crimson asked

"Who knows after all General Hawk is getting paranoid in his old age. Regardless smashing these wanna be Cobra losers should be fun. " Ebony responded.

Ebony had no clue as he spoke the wheels of destiny were already turning. His fun will swiftly become a nightmare

"Well I suppose I should see where they're going... Chasing them down is going to be so much fun. Huh."

"What is it?" Megatron inquired in a severely annoyed tone.

"A warning message. Cybertronian Empire energy signal detected in Shanghai. Would have been nice to know 30 minutes ago."

Megatron just glared at him "At some point you're going to stop acting like a rookie, right?"

"So am I to understand you expected them to show up? No? Well then let's move on. They've left Earth. Current course points to Mars. Mars... I feel like that should mean something but for the life of me I can't remember what."

"So what kind of resistance can we expect?"

Brainwave nearly faceplanted. "What? You think we're attacking them? No no no no no no no. We're going to ask very nicely to speak to Liege Maximo and pray he isn't in a bad mood."

Megazarak was growing restless. After fleeing Primus after his resurrection Unicron in his miniaturized form left a trail of death and destruction in his wake.

"How long must I wait for the Spiders ridiculous plan Chaos bringer? If I cannot defeat Defensor hand at least give me more worlds to ravage!"

"No Zarak." The Dark God said, his voice carrying an unworldly tone.

"What? But lord-"

"My plan is in motion. To avoid my brothers scrutiny I must be selective with what havoc I reek for the time being"

"That Sentinel Maximus clown and Optimus were constantly on our heels. I can destroy them both with ease why not end them now?"

"They are nothing to me Zarak, as are you take that in consideration if you attempt to disobey me"

Zarak felt nothing but rage and impotence for his situation

Zeraks face met his palm once he realized his situation just got worse.

"Father good luck" he said to the skies.

"Joji the space angel..."

"Hiromi what is it?"

"Hurry go to the control room!"

Joji complied and ran

The aliens continued with their assault on the Angel. The crew were rocked back and forth by the blasts.

"Space Angel calling Space center, Space angel calling space center! Our gravity control center has been damaged! We can't escape!" The captain was rocked by another blast.

"Minami whats going on? Minami whats going on answer me?!" The controller responded.

"No I'm sorry!"

"use the emergency escape pods!"

"Uwaahahahahahahah!"

Joji pushed aside the crewmember behind the microphone

"Father? Father?"

The alien craft continued firing slicing the ship in half

"FATHER!"

The ship exploded and its signal ended. Everyone including Joji were shaken by this ruthless slaughter.

"The pioneer of the Space Expansion project."

Joji ran out of the room in tears and shouted into the sky

Lance listened to Brainwaves and Joe's conversation from afar and came out from the shadows. He had caught onto Rumors of a Experimental ship from Nergal scheduled to go to Mars to retrieve survivors from an alien incursion.

"So this Maximo creature has a battleship? It would be the best if we obtained our own now wouldn't it? The best part is officially its a civilian vessel so it has plausible deniability." He smirked

"I'd ask exactly what part of ask nicely involves pointing guns at someone but you seem rather... special."

"Not let's not be hasty." Megatron interrupted. "Just think of the long term value of having a mobile base that can defend itself."

"Of course you'd want to steal a battleship, that's how you became famous."

"The ND-001 Nadesico is the most advanced ship built by Human hands apparently according to my agents, it even has a Gravity Cannon. And the crew are civilians, a bunch of idiot Savant's no less. All you need to do is hack the computers into accepting my forged ID and the shipment containing you two and its easy street from there. We could just bullshit them with some idiot sob story or tell them the universe is in danger and they would eat it up."

Rastun then barges in the conversation, saying, "I say we need every advantage we can get. If getting this ship is as easy as he says, we should take it."

Rastun is usually not one to advocate hijacking vessels of any sort, but with the overall stakes as high as they are now, most means are justified.
