Asuna dodged the two particle canon blasts from the pirates ship and they disappeared as soon as she looked again.

Asuna was gripping her controls in anger at her own hesitation

“Sir the ship and the mobile suits are in full retreat”

“Let them go for now, securing the area is more important” Meyer replied over the comm to the two fighters with him before attempting to hail the stationary Canard. It was really only an excuse, he’d rather not chase them further around a colony he wasn't familiar with.

Instructor Linny’s funeral was as he wished when he was alive, a burial in space. It was my first close experience with death.

Linny’s casket was ejected flanked by two GM’s and the students and the ship’s crew attended.
After the casket was ejected Asuna began to remember Akira stabbing Linny’s cockpit as she began wiping away her tears.
Asuna left the assembly with Erisia taking notice

In the medbay Shinn watched the ceremony on video broadcast

A Hizack fired at her but Bastole dodged it swooped in and impaled her attacker.

Art couldn't believe what he was hearing

The Bastole Aura shot one Asshimar and fired into another MA and its explosion took the two surviving Armors with it.

She took another swing at Dunbine and Shou evaded and drew his sword

While her back was turned a barrage of fire came down from a Garuda class ship damaging Bastole

Before he could do anything the Garuda class cut him off at the side with its hanger open

To Shou’s terror his parents were in the hanger shouting his name

Art was annoyed; he almost had a bead on Bastole.
