Sarah Smith

Last Night

Sarah sat out in the back deck of her house that overlooked the cliff side that led to a great view of the ocean, she had her guitar out playing a few notes as she closed her eyes for a moment as she enjoyed playing it. Then she opened her eyes and stared up into the sky seeing the lights, they were really pretty and spectacular as she was just simply hypnotized by the beauty of the lights out in the sky which had brought out her birth. She was sadly one of the lucky few that did manage to survive, but Sarah didn't care she was so entranced by the lights. And just as quickly as they came the lights were gone, Sarah slowly shook her head as she set down her guitar she wished that she had actually brought out her phone to film the whole thing.

She would grab her guitar feeling very tired as Sarah decided to call it a night as she went back inside closing the sliding glass door, her parents had already gone to bed by now as she felt really tired. Sarah quickly got changed into her nightgown and climbed into her bed she slowly closed her eyes and started to fall asleep rather quickly. Sarah's kitten was quietly sleeping on Sarah's pillow comfortably and had been woken up, she had gotten the little fluff ball for graduating high school and she loved it so much.

The Next Day

Sarah started to groan loudly to herself as she started to feel a very weird and alien sensation going all around her body, she also could have sworn that she could hear a loud buzzing sound of so many voices around her. She shot up from her bed and looked around as she started rubbing her arms, she continued to hear the sounds which were starting to get annoying she wasn't sure what it all was. Sarah moved to her bathroom which was attached to her bedroom she looked at herself in the mirror. Her eyes then wondered down towards the sink and screamed rather loudly as she several small ants were near her sink. She quickly reached for a tissue to smash some, as she was doing that she quickly stopped feeling what they were feeling which was fear but it didn't feel like it was her own.

Sarah wished that they had just left, and surprisingly the little buggers started to move away and down into the sink's drain. She would let out a sigh of relief as she quickly went and started to brush her teeth and then clean her face. Sarah knew that her parents had already left for work the day, she didn't feel like making her own breakfast and decided to make her way to the café. After she had changed Sarah grabbed her bike and started to pedal down the street, she still could hear the weird buzzing sound only making out a few words here and there but none of it made sense.

She eventually made her way towards the café and noticed a lot of people that she didn't even know and assumed were tourists Sarah entered the café and sat at an empty table. Her mind then started to wonder towards the night before seeing those lights again made her feel strange.
