Muttonhawk Let Slip the Corgis of War

Hmm, so the meeting I was just in was about twenty minutes of actual talking and the rest was getting the teleconferencing software to work for everyone. I'll do another post, hopefully before you call it a night.

I reckon we can skip ahead once Sabine and Kaleeth get their answers. The Evermore clan can probably deal with escorting Jespric and his family further towards the coast.

Do you remember how old the children are right now? I'm trying to make sure I'm keeping track of all the timeskips correctly.

I've actually lost track of time myself, to be honest. I'm trying to piece it together.

Sabine was fourteen years old when we started. She turned fifteen before Rhazii was born. We then timeskipped to Sabine's eighteenth birthday before heading to Elsweyr, so Rhazii would have been three years old. Newt is either one or two years younger than Rhazii? The timeskips are fuzzy for me after that. I would have to look them up.

Sabine was probably around 19 when they arrived back at the Bruma clan, after everything in Elsweyr. Then, there was the move up to Skyrim. Between traveling and getting a large force from the Riften clan to Ralbthar was probably a few months. After clearing it was a two month skip to get everyone settled. A few weeks after that, they set off for Black Marsh. Traveling across the continent, with a stop in Cheydinhal, probably would have taken some time. They took a quicker route on the way back, so it probably was not an entire year, but would be the better part of one. But, in combination with the months before that, I'd add another year, making Sabine over 20, probably getting close to 21. Then, there was a two year skip to Julan's naming day. Sabine would be 22 at that point. Then three years to present. So, Sabine would be 25, close to 26. Ahnasha is 33, Meesei is 39, Lorag is 43, Fendros is 35, Janius is 32, Kaleeth I think is 29, since she was 19 when Sabine was turning 15. If Rhazii was born at that time, then he is currently 10. With Julan being one or two years younger.

Wow, so the story has been going for ten years? That's a few more than I thought! Good that it's cleared up, though. I was backtracking trying to find the timeskips.

So, I'm moving out to another house tomorrow. Reply's will be sparse from now to a couple of days from now.

We can probably skip ahead soon. I wanted to do some of the last scenes I had in mind simultaneously to save time, but I realize that one would be happening a lot sooner than the other. Did you have any scenes in mind that you wanted to do, with someone other than Fendros and Ahnasha?

All I can think of right now is a conversation between Meesei and the agents Maroc and Lunise from the Empire and the Dominion respectively. I imagine that Saras would bring her up to date as soon as he could.

I'll respond tomorrow. I'm moved in, but it's left me pretty worn out.

We can probably do the next skip soon. I know what I'd like to take us to. It will probably be one of the last things before the start of the final act.

Sounds good. I'll close off the scenes and you can bring us ahead. The only thing I can think of to skip to is Rhazii's first transformation, but that probably won't happen for another two or three years.

Feel free to skip ahead if you like. I would predict most of the pack's reaction to Sabine to be similar when they hear the full story.

Skip to wherever is appropriate. I'm not sure whether planning should be in depth or if we should just play this out.

I think it would be fine to move on now. That makes up the last of the things I had in mind before starting the final act. Though, I suppose it could be beneficial to do a skip of a month or something for Rhazii's first transformation, and maybe to show Meesei recovering. Could be a short scene, or we could just move on past it entirely if you don't think it would be too important. Your choice.

I think it would be good as an intermission. It doesn't have to last too long, but a played out epilogue to recent events would be nice to tie the last act on without being too jarring.

Did we want to play out hunting the chaurus or skip to the morning?

We could probably focus on Rhazii's first kill. What the rest of the pack is doing wouldn't be as important.
Edit: You can go ahead and start the hunt in yours.

I went to the Georgia Aquarium today. Largest one on this half of the planet. It's one of the two places that have managed to successfully keep whale sharks. It is really hard to get a sense of scale on one of those things without seeing it in person. They are positively enormous fish. I am fairly tired right now, though.

I've seen whale sharks in documentaries next to divers, but I still couldn't imagine it unless I saw them for myself. Man, that must have been amazing!

I've been to a few aquariums before but nothing that big. Are you out on a holiday right now?
