Everyone has their secrets. Basil simply had more to keep than most; the guilt that had accumulated because of them, however, could be rectified. He could repent. If only he could find a G.E.C.K., the Garden of Eden Creation Kit, remnants of old-world technology created by Vault-Tec before the Great War, and given to select Vaults, just in case certain ones were able to survive the experiments and prove themselves the "fittest" of the human species. Setting out on a journey with Jace, he aimed on doing just that.
